Happy, Friendly staff. Really nice rooms (all with air con) and a a shower that damn nearly pinned me to the floor. TV with premium movies and sport all included. Breakfast is meh! But at least you have a Starbucks on site (the muck America calls coffee isn't fit for pigs)

construction in front of the hotel, blocking our entrance to the parking, which isn't connected to the hotel (you have to step outside from the parking structure into an alleyway.) we should have been told about the construction beforehand. *this is the deal breaker;" shower curtain is sheer and water sprays through when you shower. i had to use 2 bath towels to mop up the good-sized puddle on the outside of the tub after each towel. we were tight for time, so didn't call down to the front desk ... This hotel sits on the edge of the Haymarket District. It is an awesome place to walk around and go to restaurants, bars and attractions. However, you should know upfront that there is major construction at the hotel! The construction crews arrive @ 7am!!! They do offer complimentary EARPLUGS!!! The only parking available is down the street at a parking garage! The hotel will not validate, but will sell you a parking pass for an additional $10.00 per night, AND YOU DON'T HAVE A CHOICE!!! The hotel itself is very modern and everywhere we went it was clean. The hotel is located in the perfect place. Close to restaurants, the university and shopping! The rate we got on our rooms was excellent and I would absolutely stay there again. I would also recommend this place to family and friends!

I checked in to the Hyatt after midnight and was greeted by a friendly, helpful gentleman who suggested restaurants nearby that might be open at that time of night. The rooms are very clean & the amenities in the rooms are very nice. They are very dog-friendly with a grass dog park/area right behind the hotel. We checked out by 7am the next morning to continue our drive & the staff used both my name & my dog's name as we left. The breakfast buffet was delicious & there's wine for sale in the... Read more

I was in town to watch my daughter perform at the International Thespian Festival at UNL and only stayed one night. All the staff I encountered were friendly and helpful. I would have given a 5 if the housekeeping was better. The first room I checked into had an unmade bed and the bathroom had towels on the floor. The front desk staff spoke with housekeeping and assigned me a different room. The next room I checked into seemed to be adequate except for the sliding bathroom door which appeared t... Read more

Nice place to stay, close to UNL campus. I worry that it will become shopworn quickly due to level of finishes, as they are not high-end. That being said, it was better than the Cornhusker and its low ceilings!

I was quoted $182 per night, the bill , however was $278 before taxes. Two nights was $778. I complained, and was offered refund, but no notice of reimbursement has been given as of yet. I have enjoyed Hyatt Place all over the country prior and this never happened before. I am not sure if I will ever go back now.

The Hyatt does it right in the Railyard- way to go Lincoln! My whole family stayed in about five or so of the rooms and we all had a good experience. Our family was pampered by the staff as much as they would allow and my out of town family really enjoyed the trains and the farmers market.

This hotel gave me optimum access to the downtown area and the graduation ceremonies at UNL. The parking was inexpensive and located right next to the hotel--very accessible. Although I did not use it, there was a shuttle to Lincoln Airport. The people working the desk were friendly and helpful. My wife and I stayed here in 2015 when attending a show at Pinnacle Arena. Everything is new so this is a great option. Walking distance to everything you need in the Haymarket District. Stop at the curb and check-in before you try to go to the parking garage. If you go to the garage first it becomes a hassle. I had to physically move my car out of the garage and u-turn back in because the parking attendant didn't know how to operate the gate. This is not necessarily the fault of Hyatt... Read more

This hotel is in the Haymarket district near all of the restaurants, which was convenient. The have a parking garage that gets busy on the weekends, but you can still find parking. The rooms were in good condition, though the couch has a few stains, but overall clean room. While we were on the second floor, we could not hear the people above us. Bathroom was clean and kept clean during our stay. The odd thing about this hotel, you have to ask for the lotion.

The hotel and room decor is contemporary and it had a crisp, clean atmosphere. Nice hot breakfast buffet and cocktails available for sale till midnight. Location could not have been better. Some construction across the street doesn't make for the best view but it not loud or noticeable. Two small complaints. 1) It takes 2-3 minutes for hot water to reach the shower. I don't know if I was taking a shower too late or if this is just a design flaw. 2) The housekeeper kept adjusting my thermostat. Anyway, the rest of it was just as nice as any other Hyatt Place, my new favorite chain.

This hotel is great for it's location in the new part of the Haymarket. The rooms are very standard and don't offer any amenities that you won't find at a motel. If you're a Husker, you'll like the location but that's about as much excitement you'll find in this sleepy place. If you stay here, do yourself a favor and visit the restaurants in the older part of the Haymarket. Unless you're a game day Husker, the burgers-brews-and-bros places are very boring. I was willing to pay the extra to be at the location for game day, but after experiencing the hotel it was not worth the 300% markup just for being close to the action. On game day we left the hotel around noon and returned later in the evening after celebrating only to find that our room had not been cleaned and we had no fresh towels. Stayed here for one evening with the family while on a college tour. The place was quiet and a great respite from the hustle of Haymarket street. Easy walking distance to great restaurants and bars in the gentrified area of downtown Lincoln. The price was a little high but the quiet room and good breakfast made that worthwhile. Noisy but nice room. Walking distance around lincoln downtown. basic amenities: standard small pool, breakfast nook, cooler w/ beer and drinks.
