Very friendly staff, nice rooms, and some even have balconies so you can enjoy the view. Prices are good as well. It is also only a stones throw from MacKenzie River Pizza which is great. But what sets this place apart is the fact that I received a hand written postcard thanking me for my stay the first time I came. It is those little extras that keeps me coming back.

Booked a room at the property for 3 nights during the week for a business trip. Just got back from my seminar during the day and was relaxing before going out to grab dinner and suddenly my door was opened by a lady who was checking into my room!! She was as surprised as I was and quickly left. Now I realize that things happen, and it's how you deal with issues that make your successful. I immediately called down to the front desk and told them they just checked someone into my room. I was ... Read more

I've been on the road almost 2 weeks, staying mostly in Holiday Inn Express. I'm starting to have a hard time finding different things to say. That's mostly a good thing. It means that this hotel chain is contestant. I like knowing what I'm getting when I reserve a place. I have a bad back, I can't sleep on a soft bed. I have had to sleep I the floor in some places. One town on this trip we didn't have a Holiday Inn Express. I slept in a recliner. As far as this hotel went. The one thing I re... Read more

While moving back to Kalispell from Oregon I stayed 3 months there. I got to know the staff and the mascot dog very well. I was always treated with respect and courtesy. My room was clean and tidy every day. They had the expected food service you see at every Holiday Inn except they also have a gas grill you can use, which I did, especially on the weekends when dinner wasn't being served. Overall I had a good stay that didn't feel like 3 months.

We came for a conference and needed a dog-friendly hotel at a reasonable price. HIE Kalispell delivered. A clean and modern property with welcoming staff and comfortable beds... With lots of pillows. A better than average buffet breakfast (gotta love the cinnamon rolls) and also a nice evening snack followed by milk and cookies. It is convenient to lots of shopping, the community college and many restaurants. No problems and no criticisms... Next time in Kalispell, we'll stay again.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn on June 18th and capitalized on our IHG points for a free night. The hotel was dog friendly (no charge) and the staff were very courteous. At various times through the evening there were goodies like fresh baked cookies to snack on. Kids enjoyed the pool. The hotel appears to be very wheel chair friendly and we noted rooms setup specifically for access and the actuated chairs to get into and out of the pool and the hot tub. We stayed here for one night. This is a very new hotel. The beds and bedding were extremely clean comfortable. The room was quiet and dark at night. No outside street noises. There is a fridge and free wifi in the room. The location is central to Kalispell and Whitefish. Would highly recommend this hotel. Free breakfast included, and there is a fitness center.

This is a beautiful facility from the outside and, upon entry, I was impressed by the lobby and public areas. They offered a simple salad and potato chip snack the evening we were there until 1900. The Holiday Inn Express chain can have hotels that differ in quality, from our experience. This is not only the best HIE we've ever stayed in, it is possibly one of the best hotels we've ever stayed in! The only thing that was typical is the breakfast, which is OK, but not great.
