Great accommodations! Hard-working, clean-conscious staff! Not racially biased (though bit surprised when first saw me!) Beautiful city Welcoming residents (some)(most highly racially-biased....sad, very sad....and shameful in this day & age! But Jesus will deal with them. That is certain.) One minority female that will definitely be moving to HELENA, MT despite ANY ethnic issues! Love it's scenery & location + weather!

Stayed here with a few friends, we didn't have to pay much for the room and were pleasantly surprised with the room when we got there. We were hoping that the hot-tub/pool area would have been better. The Hottub was smaller than most bathtubs and wasn't even open. Breakfast was real average too. However the staff was friendly and room was clean.

I am not sure really what sort of review to give this place. I loved the people at the front desk, the room was adequate but I thought it would be bigger than a Motel 8. It was clean, the bathroom especially. we love that. However the stairwell stunk so bad I kept smelling it, even though my husband didn't smell a thing, but I'm one of those who can smell anything from 100 miles away:) I'm giving a four star because my husband liked it, but next time I'll just go to Motel 8. I don't smell an... Read more

First, the good news. The bed was fine and the towels are fluffy. The staff is nice. The bad news is that everything is really old and tired. I had the king "suite" which is across a narrow hall from the ice machine. There's an ancient refrigerator in a tiny room off this suite that sounds like it's going to go into orbit. I finally turned it off about 2:00 a.m. The only way out of here is to go upstairs to what they call the 2nd level to exit, which was on my fire conscious mind both nig... Read more

The room wasn't too bad, but my grandson wanted to go swimming, and the pool and hot tub was disgusting! You could see the filth at the bottom of both, so he had to settle for a bath. The lady who checked us in wasn't rude but not exactly friendly either. I definitely will stay elsewhere next time. I'm disappointed that Shilo would put their name on this motel.

Stayed here for 5 nights , the rooms were clean , the steam room was not working , having a washer & dryer was nice , price was fair with no unpleasant surprises. The waffle machine made good waffles . Overall the place needed to be updated as everything was a bit old or outdated.

Similar to previous reviews, I found the room decor dated, but clean and comfortable. In-room fridge and microwave is handy. Front desk staff pleasant. Did not have the opportunity to check out the pool.

When the welcome mat is wanted you can find it at the Shilo Inn. The pool is open 24 hours..... Find that at other places. The breakfast is in a cramped small place in the 3 person lobby. If you get something you need to either take it to your room or go outside, weather permitting. Over all a Very nice stay with refrigerator and microwave in room. And close to the Helena city charm. Hope you enjoy.

So here are the two spiders I was able to squish. The other 3... MIA. That hair on the floor... Not mine. It beautifully outlined the tub. Dirt. Just filthy. I don't think the carpet has been vacuumed in months. And the dust and dirt is so obvious I don't know how house keeping could just walk past it. Now, here's the part that blows me away. When asked about my stay, I showed her the pictures. "I'll get maintenance to spray the room." Aka the freeloading spiders. About the dirt, " I'm sorry abo... Read more

I wouldn't say this place is poor quality, but it is definitely low budget and bare bones. Lots of traffic noise due to easy access off the freeway. We needed an affordable place at 1 in the morning for our road weary family and this place was very inexpensive. The night clerk was helpful. It is an old property. The breakfast area is just to the right of the front desk. They were out of most stuff, including milk, by the time we went down. Oatmeal packets, one slice of bread left, waffle ... Read more

But everything else is lacking. The rooms are clean but the staff is lackluster at best. The cleaners left a vacuum in front of our door. Our trash cans were all over the room. TV is broken has lines through it and remote doesn't work. The WiFi is terrible. 3 networks to connect to and all 3 are bad, won't open or load just simply your emails. But the beds are good a little hard, lots of comfy pillows. Nice that the pool is open 24/7. Good value for the money in the area.

We spent one night. We had a room lower level which is a day light basement type. They have a microwave, fridge, hair dryer, ironing board. The odd thing was a phone in the bathroom and towel rack in the shower. Carpet had stains in the room. The front desk staff wasn't overly friendly though. But if all you are looking for is a place to sleep, it does fit the bill.

This hotel is very close to the Interstate. A little dated, but clean and comfortable. Close to eating places and grocery stores. Check in/check out was easy. Counter staff we dealt with were very friendly.

Is the best I can say. Arrived at 230 and was asked to come back in an hour as room wasn't ready. Ok, no problem. (Hey, maybe the help didn't show up?). Chairs are stained and the bedspread has a hole in it. I find an empty Coke cpbottle in the closet area. But no toiletries. At all. I have shampoo in my bag and used that for hand washing but I called the desk and ask that housekeeping leave some when they make up the room for our second day. We leave for the day and come back. Not a great location or facility. Noisy from traffic. Heard every door and footstep in the wing, all floors. 3 barking dogs in room next door. At least they waited till 6 AM to howl. "Breakfast" was a joke. Not even a decent table to sit at. Staff made it obvious you were bothering them.
