We stayed for a night on a road trip and it was fine for that. The room was dated, but functional, the staff friendly and helpful and the breakfast included was all we needed. We had our pets with us so were glad to have a pet friendly hotel in a convenient location.

We were pleasantly surprised. The building is older but clean and well maintained. Our only complaint was that the occupants of the room above us was very. Busy walking back and forth over us. Breakfast was the average continental with waffles.

This Travelodge should be bulldozed! It is dated and dirty. The old bed quilts are dark and cover anything that might have happened on them. I immediately pulled back the bedclothes to check for bedbugs. (there were none) The worn, baggy sheets seemed as if they had been around since George Washington slept there. I decided it would be smart not to put my feet on the carpet without shoes. The shower was gray and dingy. The pillows smelled like a stale garlic pastrami sandwich. Breakfast ... Read more

This motel is in a small rugged part of MT, it is a great stop for nite. Staff was very friendly & attentive!! Very reasonable for a hotel just off I-90. Will stay again. Deer Lodge has a wide variety of restaurants, just a short drive into center of town. Could use to update Televisions in rooms, but not real important for location

We have stayed here at least twice a year over the last 7 to 8 years and the staff has always been fantastic. The rooms are nice, nothing fancy but clean. There is not much to choose from in Deer Lodge and we feel this place is by far the best.

Room had one bed but it was fairly clean and the staff were pleasant. Good location close to the freeway but we went into town for a meal - only about half a mile away but it was the nearest restaurant. Usual "free" breakfast but there was some unexpected fresh fruit.

We were passing through on the way to Yellowstone and there is very little to choose from in this area. I feel that maybe being one of two hotels in town keeps this place from having to aspire to much. The cost of the room far exceeded the value. I had to ask some drunk patrons in the hall to stop their vulgar discussion in front of my granddaughter. The room smelled like it could use a deep cleaning, or maybe replacing the carpet. The front desk clerk was still working in the morning. I f... Read more

The price was right so we booked this hotel. The lady at check in was very friendly and helpful in recommending places to eat. She check in with us after we had been in the room about 30 minutes to see if we needed anything and if the room was satisfactory. The beds were pretty firm. The room was clean and it was quiet. Right of the interstate so easy to access. Free wifi and continental breakfast. The hotel is a bit days but the service and cleanliness make up for it :)

Due to the fact that there are only 3 choices in Deer Lodge, given a choice I'd keep driving. My In-laws picked the place: so I was forced to go! Where should I start the place is caught in a time worp the bed is a double, needs replacing. The television is made before 1980, & is small. The window is being kept locked by a stick ??? The acces door says "use key card for security" but then doesn't lock,so much for security. The air conditioner/heater has two options: Air or Heat NO OFF. The sho... Read more

This place is tired tired tired. From the gravelly pock-marked parking lot to the faded carpet and the tubed television; this place needs to be gutted and redone or just burned down. Stained mattress and box springs, a plug-in that quit working, and a front desk clerk who was either stressed or generally out of sorts. The internet connection is reasonable. Very limited breakfast with coffee, cereal, and waffles. No sign of fruit or juice or rolls. If this is a franchise, the owner needs to... Read more

This little hotel was so awesome. The staff was friendly and attentive. Breakfast was good for a smaller hotel. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was the beds were a little on the hard side and really could use to be updated. The pillows were also a little the flat side. By the 3rd night of our stay we all woke so stiff and sore from the uncomfortable beds. But all in all I would stay there again!

When I arrived the clerk was nice enough, she even stated since I was Rewards card member she was going to upgrade me to a king size bed. When I got to the room it was apparent that this place had been remodeled in years. The TV an old 19 inch model, not a flat screen but a really old TV. The room had almost no outlets for plugging in anything. One on the wall on the right side of the room, with an extension cord running under the bed for the lamp left side. This was a big disappointment. The hotel is tired, smells and the room's AC is very noisy. Don't even think about sticking around for the complimentary breakfast. Don't do that to yourself. I'm going to try really hard to find something good to say about this place so here goes: The room has abundant hot water and good water pressure for the shower and it has free Wi-Fi I was wondering about the smell until I saw a woman come out of a room with a big dog, so the property must be pet friendly ... It's hard to find a reasonable hotel in Montana. This was an average room for an average price for a one night stay. When I booked the hotel, it stated that there were refrigerators in every room, but that wasn't the case. The parking lot had huge pot holes, the air conditioning was noisy, and the beds were very low. Breakfast was all carbs and no proteins, I mean really, how hard is it to have boiled eggs? The shower did have great water pressure.

The staff in Deer Lodge, MT Travelodge were kind, friendly and happy! The property itself however needs some TLC. The beds were old and horrible, the building stank and the breakfast room needs to be expanded and updated. Et hyggelig motel der vi ble godt mottatt. Frokosten var OK, men spiserommet alt for lite. Rommet vi fikk var stort. Bra renhold. På tross av dette trengs det litt oppgradering her og der. A nice motel where we were well received. The breakfast was OK, but the dining room too small. The room we got was big. Good cleaning. Despite this, it needs a little upgrade here and there.

The motel is old and needs serious updating. It was clean and the beds were ok and it seems that is what a lot of people want. It seems to me that Wyndham is bleeding the profits and will probably sell off these places soon. I've seen some others that they own and get the same impression. I wouldn't use this motel again.

This motel is rated #1 in Deer Lodge by Tripadvisor and I suppose that is accurate, but it reflects the lack of competition in this town. The motel is dated and the furnishings show it. Alright, I'm only going to be 100% completely honest here. This hotel is older, and so is the decor, as well as everything else in it. We were grateful to have a bed to lay on for the night during our long travels on the road. We were headed to Washington and wanted to drive as far as we could. The TV was an old box type. The room was a bit unvacuumed around the edges. Bed appeared clean, but who really knows. It has an overall shabby appearance and there was a table blocking the a/c unit that I had to move each time I wanted to adjust the air.
