We really wanted to like this hotel. It's a newer Holiday Inn Express, our preferred hotel brand. It's convenient to Glacier Park and a bit more affordable than hotels in St. Mary. But the paper-thin walls were ridiculous. We had to move rooms after we checked in since we heard a full conversation and slamming doors next door. Were woken very early by more slamming doors. It was very overpriced for a crummy night's sleep. The lobby was nice, however, with refreshing lemon water and towels for b... Read more

If you are staying in Browning, I have no doubt this is the best accommodation available. Staff was friendly but not always available in a timely way. Spent a lot of time waiting at the front desk for help and would often have to go find someone in the back office. The rooms were nice and comfortable. BUT, noise was a HUGE issue. I could hear people in the room above and next to me. Other people I was staying with had a similar problem. If you're trying to get some good sleep, I do not recommend... Read more

The hotel is obviously quite new - everything is sparkling and clean. Good A/C, Comfortable beds. Our room also had a fold out bed, which grandson used; he said it was "really cool!" Our window had the standard "veil" curtains AND heavy draw curtains to block outside light, as needed. Holiday Browning has a very nice hot breakfast area; clean and well maintained. The morning breakfast offers a good selection of food items and good hot coffee! If they had lunch and dinner as well, I would p... Read more

The hotel itself is very nice. Staff very helpful. A typical Holiday Inn Express. Breakfast typical of any hotel breakfast. The used to stand out in the breakfast category. There is the casino next door. We checked it out because we were told there was a place to eat there. Nothing special there for sure. If you like to gamble but don't smoke there is an area set aside for that. Only drawback you have to go thru the smoking area to get to it. There is a cafe down the road where you can get a dec... There's nothing like looking at the Rocky Mountain Front and Glacier National Park from the east side. I was pretty critical on TripAdvisor when this location first opened, but I've been won over with every stay since my first one in 2013. The staff are very courteous and helpful. The room was immaculate and the bed was comfortable. I love the local artwork highlighting the Blackfeet Nation. After stopping for gas prior to arriving in Browning where we were told by two Montana residents "don't stay in Browning!" I have to say we were very pleased to arrive at the holiday inn ( where we had pre-booked). My husband was coming into the train station in the morning and this was a good "gateway to east glacier park". The hotel was clean. The front desk tried their best to accommodate our needs ( they gave us one bed for 3 people and we ended up with a rollaway). But I have to say it is ... Read more

After all day exploring the east side of Glacier national Park, we had made reservations the night while in Kalispell to stay in Browning. Upon arriving late in the afternoon, we checked in at the front lobby and it was very smooth. The room we were issued was on the first floor towards the end of the building. After being able to hear the kids in the next room, we called the front desk and asked to be moved to a quieter location. They were very understanding and gave us a room on the 2nd floor ... Perfect launch for the GNP from the east side. Super friendly and helpful front desk staff. Clean, large room and bathroom, comfortable bed. Our room had a mini frig and microwave. I don't know when built, but the hotel seems fairly new, modern, in terrific condition. Good, complimentary breakfast with plenty of lobby and table seating areas. My girlfriend and I stayed here just this past month. We had no advance reservations but they were OK with us coming as unannounced guests. Our check in was smooth. The desk lady told us she was giving us one of the better rooms. She told us (a). It was going to be on the 2nd floor since the high winds cause disturbing noise with the roof. This part of Montana is plagued by high winds. We came in from the east and saw wind socks on the highway right of way!?! (b). We would be getting a gr... Read more

Very helpful and efficient staff. I had just driven over from West Glacier after horseback riding, and had some sort of stinging insect in my pants (not kidding!). I checked in quickly, and headed to my room to undress/shower, and received a call that in my haste, I had left my wallet at the front desk. Very honest! It had a small swimming pool and hot tub. The afternoon was too hot for hiking, and the pool was quite refreshing. Not much to do in Browning (apart from the adjacent casino). I did ... Read more

The scene here is good. But They have very limited selection for breakfast. They didn't refill hot food when it was gone. And the town is very small so no many restaurant nearby. And it's overpriced. If you have time, you can live in other town which is much cheaper.

I have never sent in a review to any hotel or restaurant. Because, I understand we are all human and can make mistakes. Or, we might just be having a bad day. And, some things are just not under our control. I have been in the travel business over 25 years and have NEVER seen anything like this before. The dollar amount is little. This is a new property with everything still in excellent condition. They have all of the necessary amenities and a Wi-Fi that actually works. My only problem with this place is the price. We paid a little over $200 plus tax which just seem like a tad much. I realize that it's quite close to Glacier but it still seems a bit high. Good breakfast. The hotel is nice in general. But nothing special similar to all this types of hotels. But the price of 235 $ including tax is not justified. The breakfast (continental breakfast) is very poor. Industrial food, everything in plastic, a pile of garbage is left. A hotel with this price should offer a breakfast which is decent. I assume they do not know what a continental breakfast is.
