We stay at the Crown Plaza at least once a month. We travel often and through the years have stayed at various hotels in Billings. Crown Plaza is always our first choice. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The front desk is helpful and knowledgeable. The airport shuttle is the one thing we love! The location is great and the parking garage is handy.

Great central location- you can easily walk to most of the downtown attractions. Was disappointed that the Starbucks was almost never open (Ok never open while we were there in two visits) and the rooms are kind dated, dining room at top is nice for views, food is meh but who cares if the view and service is great?

After making an international booking for the Crowne Plaza in Billings, we were told it's really easy to find. After driving around downtown Billings for four times we had to ask the public where the Crowne Plaza hotel was. We were told it's the Hilton Doubletree. We had an unfriendly male and female employee greet us who were unhelpful and unsympathetic to say the least. They could not understand our frustration that the hotel had changed its name a few days earlier. You would have thought that... Read more

The remodel is western decor. The lobby is spacious and there are lots of nice animal and cowboy paintings and prints. Our room was on the 11th floor, which we were told is reserved for Hilton frequent travelers. The room was very spacious with king bed, desk and big lounge chair. Very comfortable. My main criticism is the bathroom. One tiny room, with only one towel hangar, and it is so low to the countertop, even the hand towel hangs over the side. Above the commode is a narrow glass she... I stayed here last week. It's alright, but a little dated room decor. The Naughahide on my couch was tattered on the corners, but the room worked well otherwise. The on-premise amenities made it a comfortable place to stay.

We arrived in the midst of the remodel and it was a mess. We couldn't find parking, ended up parking on the street. The front desk was not any help at all - in fact a bit rude. The branding was part Crowne Plazza and part Double Tree, very confusing. We ate breakfast at Montana Sky, the buffet was expensive for what we got and it was not as good as some of the free breakfast buffets you get when staying at a Best Western or a Holiday Inn, in hind site we should have gone downstairs to the Star... We stayed here for an overnight stop en-route to Yellowstone. It has only been open a short while, previously being the Crowne Plaza. We had actually booked the CP but had not been told it had changed hands! Fortunately, it is the tallest building in town so we guessed it was the ex-CP. The Hilton staff were great - they fully accepted our booking without question and were very accommodating. We had a great room, with amazing views right across town, although there was some noise from the air-co... Read more

This hotel was close to many restaurants. You can tell the rooms have been updated. I loved my fridge in my room. The bathroom was still a little dated and didn't seem as clean as it could have been. Beds were very comfortable!

From our check in to our check out our stay was a very pleasant experience. Our room, the staff, the culinary areas, the executive lounge all exceeded our expectations, since there was some concern when we found out of the ownership conversion just prior to our reservations. The only area that was somewhat frustrating was the internet, but I did get that worked out with one of your staff.

Now that the Crown Hotel in Billings has been taken over by the Double Tree, the elevators are actually working and there are mini frig's in every room. The entire hotel seems cleaner and more on point.

Our room was adequate with some pretty great views of the city, however the bathroom was entirely too small for two people. The room appeared to have been updated but the bathroom was very tight. The bathroom door was just inches away from hitting the toilet bowl.

Nice surprise to see the conversion that Hilton Doubletree has done with this high rise hotel in downtown Billings. Great Customer Service and comfortable and private for business trip. Hilton Honors Membership "earned" me a spot on the Executive level - perfect for a business conference.

This hotel is centrally located in the downtown area. The staff were helpful and accommodating. Facility and room were clean and free of any concerns. My wife and I stay an average of 30 to 50 nights a year in hotels/motels and this stay was a very good one.

Staff was outgoing and very engaged. Remodel complete and bones of room very dated. Sink outside of bathroom and very tight. Room wall dated brick with little ambience. Parking total hassle with tight maneuvers. Elevator total hassle as two don't work and you get "we are working on". Yet price for room should reflect full scale hotel. Executive floor food total cafeteria. Why be Diamond when you are not treated to anything special. One gets excited when this remodel happening only to find total... Read more

This hotel is just being renovated and folded into the Hilton network. I am confident the rough spots will be straightened out in short order. My room was pleasant, well maintained and quiet. The staff were accommodating. Many are new to their roles and have a steep learning curve.

The room was very clean and quiet. The staff was very helpful, patient and understanding. I was unable to check in at a reasonable hour, but the staff kept my room for me until after midnight, which was a lifesaver as I did not want to be looking for a room at that time of the evening.

Stayed as a stop over on our trip. Used our Hilton honors to stay on the 15th floor which is the honors floor. Large room with king sized bed. While not new furnishings, clean and modern style. Comfortable bed. Choice of feather and foam pillows on the bed with soft-firm abilities. Nice desk/chair as well as a arm chair for relaxing in. Large flat screen tv and alarm clock at the bedside. Both side lamps have plug ins which are great for charging your phone. Plenty of room and quiet. Appeared to... Read more

I arrived late exhausted after a long day of work and a long drive. I had a 6 am flight, so had to get up early as well. I wanted a nice dinner, nice room and a good nights sleep. The hotel delivered. Staff was courteous, helpful, and the room was over sized allowing me to stretch out and breathe. Will stay here again the next time I am in Billings.

The branding change has brought a quality hotel back to downtown Billings. The room was squeaky clean and I'll extremely picky. The breakfast was very delicious, good coffee, and melt in your mouth croissants! Our conference services and catering contract needs were also perfect!! We will book again for next year!!!

We stayed at this hotel for just short of a week and it was a great experience. The staff makes you feel at home and the sleeping situation is great. The beds were as always, great! The elevator situation has been fixed and are in good working order. I highly suggest this hotel when staying in Billings, MT.

The transition to Doubletree has benefited the hotel in several ways. It is still a clean and well maintained operation in the downtown of Billings. Doubletree has upgraded some furnishings in the rooms. Checking in is finally online and your cell phone can be used as the door key with the hotel app. Uncovered, but limited parking is outside the front door, but the hotel has an arrangement with a covered parking structure just as close on the other side of the hotel. We had several pleasan... Read more

I was very surprised to walk into our room and find that it was dingy and old. I thought this hotel had been remodeled. My husband was not up to changing rooms or I would have complained right away. The shower drain didn't work, no hot water for my nightly shower (my husband did have hot water in the morning), popcorn ceilings that were dingy and cracked, etc. I do have to say the bed was fairly comfortable and it was clean and smelled clean. Nice hotel. Right downtown so you are close to shopping, restaurants, and nightlife, but I was up all night listening to doors slamming, people talking on their cell phones in the hall way, and the adjacent rooms phone ringing. Then at 6am someone was out knocking on all the doors. Too much going on for me! I want peaceful.
