This is a beautiful hotel in a nice quite area with some shopping, restaurants, and other things around. We had a good breakfast with blueberry waffles, sausage, and eggs. Yum! I would definitely stay here again. Rooms are very nice with updated fixtures. There is a pool and small workout room available too.

Room was very large with a very soft king bed. Sitting area with a sleeper queen couch and lovely chair with ottoman. There is also a desk for any laptop or paperwork activity. This room and hotel was very affordable and right in the middle of a plaza with many shops and restaurants. The morning hot breakfast was also an added bonus to allow us to get a good start on our daily sight seeing. I would highly recommend this hotel for staying outside the St. Louis outskirts.

The Wildwood Hotel offers high value and quality accomodations. If you live nearby and have out of town guests or family, it's the perfect solution. If you're on business and your clients are downtown, not so much. Located in the Wildwood Town Center, there are shops and restaurants (Starbucks) nearby, all walkable. Wildwood has many, many paved trails, so if you want a safe jog or a bike ride, it's so easy from the hotel. The rooms are first class and those on the upper floor (4th?) have h... Read more

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Wildwood Hotel as a short get-away. We were going to attend the Cardigan Welsh Corgi Nationals event at nearby Purina Farms (20 min from hotel). We are very glad we chose such a well run hotel that is so close to everything. It's located in a small shopping center and is between St. Louis and the event we attended. We had called ahead and asked for non-down pillows and to be away from noisy things like the pool, fitness area, or ice machine. Both requests were f... Read more

Very disorganized hotel ........the computer system was so poor I had to spend 30 minutes at the front desk just to straighten out my reservation. The rooms were very clean and the beds were great but the staff was always confused. We had a special breakfast for our group in the morning and some of the staff didn't even know how to direct us to room. Personally I will never go back.

The hotel is very new and the rooms are clean and nicely furnished. Our boys enjoyed the pool. It is within walking distance to several restaurants and there is a movie theater across the street. There was free WiFi provided. The Continental breakfast was fairly extensive as well.

I should have been suspicious of the customer service of the Wildwood Hotel back in October when my mother and I attended a bridal show at the St. Charles Convention Center. The two girls representing the hotel quickly responded that we didn't have a room block, as they would have remembered our names. Keep in mind they did not open a computer or date book to look: they just apparently had this information memorized. As my mom started to panic, I called my fiancé to double check the information... It looks amazing in pictures and i was so excited top stay here! When we first got to the room I love it. But after we went out to dinner and came back to settle in for the night the true colors came out. First off the pool is maybe 10x10. Nod good for little ones who want to splash and play. its more of a dipping pool. Next was the bugs found in the shower. No big deal i thought. Just rinse them down. At least they were dead. But then came the clump of hair found in the bed.YES! In the bed. Whe... Read more

Hotel staff and maintenance were polite and prompt. The breakfast was typical of complimentary meals and there was plenty of tables and chairs. Some hall noise in the night came through the door and the A/C fan is extremely loud, even on low. The hotel is close to a couple of good restaurants and a theater. Walking trail is also close. Good place to stay and I would have rated it higher except for the small ants in the bathroom.

I paid for my room up front, and my card was charged again when I got there. So I called and told them my card was charged twice, they apologized and said they would reverse the charges. No problem, right? Wrong! I waited the 48 hours they said it would take to reverse the charges and look at my bank account and not only were the charges not reversed, but I was charged again for the full amount. I called and a gentleman not only said I wasn't charged in triplicate, he completely ignored the... Read more

There's a lot within walking distance, but just about everything you could ask for within driving distance, including a grocery store. It was my birthday over the weekend and decided I would look at all the hotels in the Stl area. Time was against me, hotels were filling up and I came across this hotel. The photos that are posted depicted weren't actual size proportion. Rooms are smaller, especially the bathroom. Small pool. Breakfast was great! Staff was friendly and welcoming. Very attractive hotel located in an area with a few restaurants within walking distance. The room was attractively decorated, comfortable and very clean. We stayed two nights at the Wildwood Hotel. The first night was a little bumpy as some kids decided to light up at 4:00 a.m., resulting in the fire alarm going off. Definitely not the fault of the hotel and I was pleased when I found out that the occupants causing the problem were kicked out of the hotel. I'm glad to see that this was taken seriously by the hotel. After all, when you check in you sign a statement saying that you will not smoke in the hotel. Is it really that hard, folks? We wer... Our group has been returning to this hotel for the past few years, and it is a good option because it is convenient to restaurants, etc. The rooms are comfortable, though dark. There are much better places to stay in the area for the money. The room we had was nice I will say that. The bed was comfortable and the decor nice, but it seems that is where it ended. The whole main area and lobby smell moldy. The pool is not nearly as nice as the pictures. The water is just too cold for an indoor pool. I noticed many others have said this in the past and yet, nothing has been done. There is a bit of rust starting to show on things from corrosion due to pool chemicals. The do... Read more

We were with a group of 3 families. The beds are air filled and poof up wherever you aren't. All three families noticed this. We tried with 2 adults per bed, but felt like we were sinking, then decided to put one kid/one adult in each bed. This was better for the adults, but the kids felt like they were rolling down hills. If you are sleeping alone, you're golden. Overall, it was clean and gave the feel of a nicer hotel without the cost.

At bedtime, we discovered the bed had been made with a wet blanket. We tried changing the blanket, but the dampness had soaked into the sheets and bed, to where we couldn't even sleep on a towel.
