This hotel used to be a Value Place hotel, so each of the rooms has a full-size refrigerator, sink, cupboards, and two-burner electric cook top. The rooms have been revamped and were very comfortable. However, it was very noisy. Thankfully, we brought a fan for white noise and the family above us finally calmed down just after eleven o'clock. You could hear people talking out in the hallway, also. The free breakfast was pretty sparse. The only protein source was in the milk and yogurt. The staff... Read more

This hotel was very economical. Its location was in a quiet easy to find. The room was very basic with a small tv and no bedside lamp. However in the morning you really heard all your neighbors as none of the rooms were soundproofed. The breakfast is very basic bagels, donuts, cereal coffee and juice.

We booked this hotel last minute on for a bargain price of thirty two dollars per night. The Hotel is easy to locate right off I-44 on the service road with numerous dining & shopping opportunities nearby. We were checked in by Sylvia who was very attentive to our needs for a first floor room and shared the times and location for breakfast the next morning. The room is set up apartment style with a full bed, dining table and 2 chairs, clothes rack, kitchenette with full sized refri... Read more

We paid just under $150 total for 3 nights.Room was clean, beds were ok. Breakfast was not much. Wifi free and weak in our room. Staff very friendly and helpful. I consider this a bargain stay. Would go back if necessary.

I booked this room as a pit stop on they to Texas so I was not going for fancy. I was surprised by what I got. The lady at checkin was friendly. When we got to the room it had a kitchenette in it with 2 full beds. The only thing that I did not like was the outdated bed covers. The small breakfast in the morning was okay too-plain but free!

I moved to Missouri from Germany and needed a place to stay until I found a house to live in. The Howard Johnson hotel was great. Thanks to their monthly rates ($550-$600), I was able to stay in one of their hotel rooms without breaking my bank or forcing myself to live somewhere I didn't want to. My room had a full refrigerator, microwave, stove, and sink. My bed and towels are replaced regularly and the hotel staff were extremely courteous. I would recommend staying at the Howard Johnson.

Hardest bed I have ever been ! Didn't sleep at all. Terrible pillows, smelly room. No iron, ugly lighting. I asked for a room change, front desk agent told me all beds are the same ! I was staying three nights, and I left right a way...

Got a discount online for the room, so the fact that the room was bare necessities was fine. Quiet hotel, clean, but uninspiring breakfast. Must be a trade off, cheap rooms, cheap breakfast.

Stayed for 5 days and had no maid service. When I asked for clean towels the cleaning lady acted like she was short on towels.

Hotel was very clean and front desk was super helpful. Also, this hotel is close to lots of shopping and restaurants in a somewhat small town. I would stay here again!

Room was good and clean. AC worked somewhat OK. Elevator was smoked in all the time and made me terribly sick each time-being that I'm 8 months pregnant. Walls were very thin, could hear everything above me and beside me.
