A typical Westin, large and comfortable rooms but no soul. Good location downtown with a decent restaurant and parking. However at least my room had no toiletries on either day and the bedside phone didn't work. Wi fi was ok, and the hotel, provides complementary umbrellas.

For St. Louis Cardinal fans, this is the place to stay! Walk across the street to Busch Stadium. The service is great. Austin in valet was especially great! The front desk was friendly and efficient. Only hitch was we were supposed to have a view of Busch Stadium but you could only barely see a "slice" of it as view was blocked mostly.

This is a nice hotel convenient to the baseball stadium. Unfortunately, it does not offer the principal product of most hotels - a good nights sleep. There are street drummers who play right outside the hotel until all hours of the night. If you are a business traveler who needs to go somewhere in the morning, this is not for you.

Stayed here for an anniv weekend with a Cardinal game and Ballpark village visit. It's just across the street from the stadium. Close to great restaurants and the Arch. Clean, quiet, convenient, affordable, beautifully restored building. Highly recommended!

My daughter and I stayed at the Westin for one evening on our way to California. Surprisingly, it was a great bargain if you did the pre pay option. The location is great, right off the highway. If you're a baseball fan, it's literally right next to Bush stadium. When we checked in I inquired about breakfast, and when I was told it wasn't included, I guess I looked bummed out. The front desk guy was so nice-- he gave us a voucher for two free breakfasts. Thank you Westin for going above and beyo... Read more

We stayed a couple of nights here. We got a pretty good rate from Hotwire, because the Cardinals were out of town ,I guess. The room was average,as was the hotel, but once you got there the price went up-fast. Example,$20+ per nite to park a half block away,$20+ for an average breakfast buffet,we got 2 candy bars,$6.We didn't use the mini bar, I saw a bottle of water was $6,you can guess what liquor was!

We were extremely happy with the overall experience with the Westin hotel, room was spacious and kept clean during our stay. Bar was busy, but very attentive staff kept the drinks flowing. Restaurant seemed underused, food was ok but pricey compared to local places. Location was excellent, next to the very busy ballpark area and its metro station. Only real downside was the lack of "free" wi-fi in the bedrooms, for an establishment of this quality you would expect more.

The location is perfect with ballpark views in some rooms. The cost was a little high compared to other hotels in the downtown area that offer free breakfast and don't charge $20 a night for parking and $11.95 per night for Internet. Staff was friendly enough and rooms were clean, just not overly impressed for price.

We love the Westin...no matter where we travel. This was no exception. Upon arrival, we were upgraded to a suite...always a pleasant surprise. Suite was extremely clean, lots of towels, great mini bar selection. Easy to get almost anywhere in downtown St. Louis from here. We walked to the Arch, Ballpark Village and some other restaurants. Loved it. Can't wait to go back!

It is a Westin property so you get a clean, comfortable room. For some reason the front desk assigned us what we believed was a room for a handicapped person. It had a shower instead a tub. The room was larger than normal probably to accommodate a wheelchair, although I'm sure a wheelchair could not have gotten in the shower area. The carpet had some stains on it which makes me believe that Westin needs to refurbish the rooms. This would be a perfect place to stay if you are a Cardinals fan and ... Read more

Adjacent to stadium, tho I was here on a weekend when the stadium (and surrounding neighborhood) was quiet. Don't know what it might be like on a game weekend. This property is located right by the ballpark, but it is sufficiently inoculated from the crowds (and the jorts) to preserve some sanctity and serenity. The rooms are spacious and clean. The property has a nice vibe. There's not a lot (other than ballpark) to do in the neighborhood, but it does have easy access to all of the highways flowing into and out of downtown. This is one of my favorite hotels in St. Louis. (The pillows are little sad. They could use some new, fuller pillows.)

I booked off hot wire. So glad I didn't pay full price. Parking $20, no breakfast included that was extra, bottles of water (nestle pure life) $3, no pool, tried to connect to wifi said I had to pay! horrible view, & the carpet was stained pretty bad had to keep shoes on the baby & off the floor. The pros: decent bedding but a bit hard, right next to arch & stadium & helpers with bags. I think I could have went somewhere else paid the same free parking cleaner & free breakfast...

It is a nice place to stay if visiting St. Louis for a Cardinals game. Busch Stadium is directly across the street. Not much else is in the area....I booked via a third party and got a very good rate. The hotel was very accommodating by letting me check in at 9:30 am. They have fairly high prices for internet ($10), parking ($30), and breakfast buffet ($20). All the staff was very helpful.

From the moment we arrived The Westin did not disappoint! Jamar was the first to welcome us and ended up being the highlight of our visit. He made recommendations based on what we were looking for and he nailed it. We had so much fun during our kid free night in St. Louis. Thanks Jamar and the entire Westin staff we can't wait to come back.

I booked my reservation March 28th for a 3-night stay beginning June 23rd. The email confirmation gave me a room charge of $79.99. But when we checked in, the room rate was suddenly $219. Even when I showed them the email confirmation with the $79.99 quote, I was told that the email was just a quote and they wouldn't honor the room rate in the email. And the $21/night parking fee was not at all mentioned in the email confirmation. So what was originally quoted at $239 ended up being over $824.... Read more

This is a good hotel. Nothing spectacular. But directly across from Busch Stadium. So you can not only walk to baseball games but hear the crowd from your room -- and see the ballpark out your window. I did not get an upgrade as an SPG Platinum. Disappointed in that. Felt they didn't care much about status. Which made the standard facilities seem that much more standard. Great location to walk places.

We spent one night as a stop over back to Chicago on a road trip. The room was beautiful, the beds were very comfortable but the rain shower was AMAZING. For a hotel with a strong reputation as one of the best hotels in downtown St. Louis, I was disappointed on our first visit (this weekend). The check in desk was understaffed and the hallway on our floor was not clean. Our room appeared to be clean and the hotel is convenient to Busch Stadium. The other frustrating factor was north exit was not marked that it was closed off after the ballgame. The Clark Street Grill was understaffed at breakfast on Saturday morning. While the location is excellent being next to the stadium, that is the only thing the Westin has going for it. The bed was absolutely terrible, and needs replaced ASAP. My husband and I stayed rolled into the sunken middle of this bed. The comforter, I'm sure was nice some years ago, but the "stuffing " was in big wads sporadically throughout, and sheet like in between the wads. The room was clean enough, but housekeeping leaves something to be desired. I went back to the room around 5:00 pm, aa... Read more

First off, if you're staying here to attend a Cardinals game, it's totally worth it. The convenience can't be overstated. And, the room was very nice (other than the depressing artwork in the bathroom). But, the service and common areas of the hotel were not up to Westin standards.
