The hotel is well located, as it ia close to many restaurants and a metro station. There is plenty of room in the accomodations, but the breakfast is pretty simple with plastic dishes and utensils. The fitness center is quite limited. It is a good option for a business travel.

The walk time from hospital room to hotel room is 10 minutes, door to door, without stepping foot outside. I couldn't have asked for a better set up! The hotel staff, especially Stephanie Smith @ the Front Desk, are professional and very considerate when it comes to accommodating those of us who are dealing with heavy situations. Thank you so much Parkway Hotel for really being there for your customers!!!

We just spent a week at the Parkway with a group of 20, including 17 teenagers, for the FIRST Robotics competition. The staff from the front desk, to housekeeping and maintenance were the best. Every encounter from check-in to check-out was positive. They were always friendly and helpful. The extra assistance they provided us made feeding this large crowd much easier. The hotel is close to the Metro and it was easy to get around town with public transportation. I would not hesitate to stay... Read more

I spent almost 2 months here when my husband had surgery at Barnes -Jewish Hospital & Rehab. The staff was very professional & all assured me on a daily basis that they were there for me. A hot breakfast, a lovely room with nice decor and comfy bed, & shuttle service to most places in the city , and best , the hospital just an inside skywalk so I felt safe going to & from. Oh yes, restaurants, next door and across the street & park nearby. We will definitely be there again .

For anyone with family members who are patients at Barnes Jewish Hospital this hotel is truly a godsend. It is a very nice, small hotel with attractive, modern rooms and friendly, helpful staff. It has its own parking garage facilities which cost just $7 per night and is attached to the hospital so even severe weather is no problem. The complementary breakfast is one of the best of that sort that I have had, and the hotel has an adjoining Appleby's for easy meals, snacks, or bar service. Plu... Read more

Stephanie Smith, an employee who works at the front desk, is by far the most kind and compassionate employee I've ever had the pleasure of coming across. She has helped my family and I tremendously with her fantastic service. What sets her apart is how she genuinely cares for others and their problems. For example, when my family and I came to the Parkway and realized that our reservation was schedule for the day before, leaving us without a place to stay, Stephanie not only found a room for us,... We selected this hotel based on its location to the major St. Louis medical centers. It was the closest hotel and was very convenient for my family to get back and forth from the hospital to the hotel room. It was much better maintained than I expected. The location of our room was quiet. Breakfast buffet was pretty standard but still appreciated.

The hotel is ideally located near Barnes Jewish Hospital and Children's hospital. It is pretty much a old Holiday Inn where it's basic though they are actively renovating it now. My only complaint was that hot water took about 10 min to reach my shower. The gym is very basic also but adequate.

I stayed here for a conference. The hotel itself seems a bit threadbare - though renovation is ongoing. The really striking thing about this otherwise somewhat ordinary hotel was the staff. There seemed to be students and had an amazing level of enthusiasm and helpfulness. For example: It was raining when I arrived. I hadn't expected that and asked if there was somewhere I could borrow or buy an umbrella. The guy behind the desk thought and couldn't come up with anything, then offered to... Read more

We stayed with a large group at the Parkway for a business meeting. Very good hotel. Good location. Near Barnes Jewish Hospital, Washington University, Central West End (a multitude of bars and restaurants), near a metro train stop. The rooms wee e spacious and clean. With 98 degrees and 90+ humidity, the air conditioner worked great! Perfect view of the parking garage. Overall quiet in the room. Excellent rates. Hot bre served daily. Popcorn and cookies served daily.

We were here for both business and pleasure. The hotel is located in the Central West End, a trendy area with good restaurants and it is also near the Barnes medical complex. It is near a Metrorail stop, which we used several times. We were checked in quickly, although they had our dates of stay wrong. Parking is $7/day, but is a big problem. They are doing construction. There is very limited parking, the spaces are small and no one parks straight. It was very hard to get in and out of parking... Read more

The Parkway Hotel is connected to Barnes Jewish Hospital in Saint Louis Missouri and regarded as the one of the best Hospital in the country. We stay at the Parkway when we have to go to the hospital. The Parkway is located downtown of the business district and near a lot of great restaurants and sheik bars and clubs. I've stayed at the Parkway twice for business and my room is always nice and clean. The staff always hold my bag at the front desk and parking is included in your stay. The WiFi isn't great so I ended up using my MiFi instead. The parking garage is attached to the hotel but there's no direct access so you have to walk back outside against traffic with your luggage. It is under construction so fingers crossed a direct path to the hotel is included. I love this hotel. I stay there whenever I ... Read more

The Parkway bills itself as a luxury hotel but it's more on par with Hampton Inn or Marriott. It's one of the cleanest hotels I've patronized and it's convenient to almost all of the St. Louis tourist attractions. Most of the staff (Zachary, John, Stephanie, and Alison) were outstanding, but one of the front desk clerks (I didn't bother to get his name) should work in the office away from guests - he was awful! Our initial room had a beautiful view, but the fan was noisy enough to make it difficult to sleep the first night. If you will be using the Center for Advanced Medicine/Siteman Cancer Center- you can't beat the Parkway for location and convenience. The hotel has a walkway that will take you to the medical building. We didn't have to get out in the heat and rain. It is certainly convenient to the hospital; for that it is great. I must have been unlucky with the staff at reception. They seemed perpetually morose. The breakfast buffet is not great even though it is copious. I would rather some quality choices which the neighboring Holiday Inn manages to do for a similar price. The woman staffing that seemed cheerful enough as did housekeeping. The carpet does not feel clean. It was a quiet hotel and the room was a decent size.

This hotel is currently under renovation, and it's not advertised as such anywhere. Management allows construction noises to start at 6am (hammer drills, scraping walls, metal clanking that travels through ductwork, laborers yelling at each other). Staff is tired and morose and of no help to guests. They won't say if other floors are not under reno or possibly quieter.
