We stayed four days at this hotel. We have been to several Hollywood casino's and hotel's and I think this one was one of the best. The room was very clean, the casino was fairly good , we won a little at the slots. The buffet was better than most except for the Bay St. Louis buffet. That Bay St. Louis buffet was the best I've had but it too is not as good as it used to be. We were treated great at this hotel, front desk service was the best, very helpful , even reminded us of reward points ... Read more

The whole experience at this hotel was horrible. The staff, in room dining, food and the hotel room. The staff was rude and not helpful. I'm so glad my stay here was not long. The room was old and not clean. I went to the store to purchase cleaning/ sanitizing supplies. I will never stay here again. The in room dining was done on the TV. No instructions were left in the room so I had no idea. I called to find out if the hotel had room service but the operator never answered. Trying to order was ... Read more

We went to Hollywood to stay before we left for Cancun. We had an excellent dinner at Charlie Gittos, played all the new slots, and just had a great time. All of the employees were great and bent over backwards to assist your every need. The next day we left for our trip to Cancun, and Hollywood let us leave our car there while we were gone. They shuttled us to the airport when we were departing , and also picked us up when we got back 7 days later. This to us is service beyond the norm. Kudos ... Read more

I stayed at the Hollywood Casino and Hotel last month, and was pleasantly surprised at what a nice stay I had. The rooms were clean and the beds were very soft and comfortable. A few good places to eat, the buffet was awesome and fairly cheap. The casino was inself was pretty well kept, a lot of machines and not too smokey. Will definitely be returning when I come through St. Louis again.

I'm picky but flexible. During our last trip we had a room next to an incredibly noisy family with children bouncing off the walls late at night. I asked not to be put next to children and was given a wonderful room on a top floor. We only stayed one night but played hard all day. We didn't win overall, but had a lot of play for our money at the slots and at cards. If I need to be critical, our Monday morning check-out took a long time because they had only one person on duty and several pe... Read more

I just wanted to see what this hotel was like, I previously went to the casino so we said might as well try hotel out. I will never again go to this hotel, first of all I booked a mini suite but when I went there to check in at 4 they told me they did not have any rooms and tried to give me a regular king room. I asked to speak with manager and after 15 minutes they decided to honor what I booked. After all that they told me the room was not ready even though check in time was at 4 and we were p... We overall like the hotel. We are always on the 2nd floor of the Sunset side, because we are smokers. The rooms are always clean and the staff is very friendly. We have been going to the casino for years now and we decided to stay for our anniversary. When I made the reservation I requested to be on the Rodeo side. The Rodeo side is much nicer than the Sunset side. When we checked in the person at the front desk refused us on the Rodeo side. She didn't give a reason, she just said no. No... Read more

This is a great hotel to stay at, if you don't have kids. We were there for a baseball tournament so there wasn't a pool or anything for them to do. But all around it was a clean hotel, spacious bathroom, and room. We did visit the casino and it was nice and clean, I'm just not used to be around smoke. Friends of ours went to Boogie Nights and really enjoyed it. We also didn't go to any of the restaurants onsite, but friends of ours really enjoyed the buffet. Said it was kind of pricey, but ther... Since Hollywood purchased this property in 2012 from Caesar's it appears they have done little or nothing to maintain the hotel. The carpet in the hallways is stained, dirty and torn. The doorways are damaged/scarred. The rooms are similar in appearance. The mattress sags in the middle. No service menu of any type offered in the room. Room service, uh apparently not. Line disconnected on the phone. If you are not sober and need something better than a park bench, this is your place.

Stayed at this hotel 2 nights. It was nice and clean. No exhaust fan in bathroom. Pillows were hard as rocks, not good for stomach sleepers. Nothing to do on premises except gamble. No good places to eat during the day, restaurants not open until 4:30 pm.

We stayed 2 nights at the hotel. We were in town for the Bad Company/Joe Walsh Concert and a Father's Day Cardinals game on Sunday. The hotel room was decent upon entering, but after looking around it was very dirty and stains everywhere. We returned on Sunday evening to our room not being cleaned. Extremely frustrating when we had been sitting out in the sun all day at a baseball game, and we have to wait for clean towels to shower. We will look elsewhere on our next trip to St.Louis.

2 daily tournaments and cash play all day every day. Better than average daily participation to build the purses/payouts with reasonable entry fees. Average facilities with friendly dealers & staff. Reportedly the poker room is moving and being updated which will be appreciated. Hotel rooms fairly average and could definitely stand reno.

This hotel has convenient yet pricey transportation service to the concert amphitheater. However, their hotel room was horrible. The furniture was old and in disrepair. The room was filthy: stains on the carpet; bed had not been changed from previous guest; the shower head was hanging (my husband had to fix it before he could shower); and the tile floors were smeared and dirty. Had stayed there to attend a concert, it next door but not able to walk there. Since the room was pricey, the shuttle should be free but it wasnt. It a nice hotel but be prepared to be coated in smoke smell the whole time ur there in the casino. Our room was ok, was suppose to be a smoke free room but cigarette burns on top cover. Bed was very comfortable at least. We had a great time, just pricey n the smoke was bad in casino..kinda,gross but it is what it is.
