We stayed one night at the Embassy Suites Downtown arriving in time for happy hour and then a quick walk to Busch Stadium for a game. We had a nice suite with a comfortable bed and a living area. The bathroom was clean although a bit on the small side. Breakfast in the morning was wonderful with made-to-order omelettes and everything else you could want. The staff was pleasant and efficient.

If you have business at the America Center this is a great location. You may pay a bit more than another hotel in the area, but with the included breakfast and the free happy hour it more than makes up the difference. Rooms are all suites, LOTS of room. Beds are comfortable. Kitchenette with microwave and refrigerator is very convenient. I've stayed here before and with the convention returning to Saint Louis, I will stay here again!

The staff in every position was courteous and ready, and willing to assist as needed. The room, as always at Embassy Suites, was ready on arrival, clean and very comfortable. The orders during evening cocktails was unimpressive. Light hor d"oeuvres would make it much better.

I was traveling alone with my 6-month old. The hotel staff was extremely attentive. They provided me with a high chair for my room to make it easy to feed my daughter. They assisted with my bags and delivered a cart and escorted us to the car. Excellent stay, definitely recommend!

The night staff was very rude and very unprofessional to my husband. The hotel manager was very unprofessional in his approach to me while picking up food from the front desk. My husband car was broken into but we were not notified. My family loves this hotel and we stay in the executive suites several times a year and to get this kind of treatment is ridiculous!

We had mostly a wonderful two-night stay here over Memorial Day weekend. Every single staffperson we encountered was great - helpful, polite, and prompt. Donald was great helping us with our bags. All of the valet were fantastic. And our front-desk experience was great. The only small issue we had is that we were in a corner-room suite and could hear the traffic at the corner (6th and Washington) all evening long - people on motorcycles seem to like to 'cruise' in the evening and rev their engin... It looked like someone had just used the room like a barber shop. I was completely disgusted and complained. and they offered $25 off the rate of the room. way to stand behind your hotel....

In town for a wedding and what a great stay (3 nights). Not only was the staff friendly and courteous to us, they were friendly and courteous to each other. Dear staff-people notice when you are polite to each other instead of pointing figures or arguing/complaining in the halls as we pass by. The staff @ Embassy Suites Downtown St. Louis was pleasant to know and watch. After saying hello once, Wade Thompson greeted me and then remembered my name when he saw me again. I had not stayed in an Embassy Suites in a long time and was pleasantly surprised. The rooms seemed bigger than I remembered and were very comfortable for 3 people. Two thinks of concern: 1) Sunday morning breakfast - don't go if you're in a hurry. There were lines for everything. (2) I had asked the front desk for a referral for a pedicure. The place they gave me was closed and there was a note on the door when I got there.

The valet parking is priceless. Didn't really partake in any of the amenities as we were out of the hotel at the ballgame. However, everything looked great and staff was great. If it's like all other Embassy Suites, then it's a must stay!

The Embassy Suites in St. Louis is conveniently located at the end of the street to the St. Louis convention center (200 yards). Rooms are clean and staff is courteous. The only down side of the property is the noise on the boulevard side from cars and motorcycles, sounded like some of them had open headers! One would think that law enforcement would crack down on this in some way? However, the convenience of the location is worth a little noise.

First, the major issue is their breakfast. It is a zoo after 8. If they would extend it an half hour it might go smoother. Also, there definition of hot cooked to order breakfast is a omelet cooked to order. The Hilton Garden Inn is is a much nicer offering. The bread is on one side of the room, the other stuff as you walk in. They have one person doing the omelets, they need two. As for their evening reception. One night had a nice spread of vegetables. That was during a convention. ... Read more

If you're in town for a convention, you can't beat the location. The free breakfast and free afternoon snacks with a drink are nice as well. The workout room is ample, as is the pool and hot tub. The lobby is really small, but who cares. Just DO NOT stay on the south side of the hotel if you are a light sleeper. The car noise can get very loud at night.

Stayed two evenings while in St. Louis for business. Have stayed in other Embassy Suite properties, however the overall ceiling height created an awkward proportion that was somewhat unnerving with no natural light in the living room space. Kudos to Morgan at the front desk for picking a nice, quiet room for us (we didn't mind street noise, but wanted a room where hall noise is minimum). I love the location here; yes, the valet area is limited in space. The rooms are spacious, breakfast and evening reception are free (as you would expect). Note that the layout is odd since it is a former Dillard's store. It is 130 steps from the elevator to rooms 28-30 so be prepared. Biggest detractor was our room was not cleaned by 5pm. We called down to have it serviced as we left for the evening. When we came back, the sheets had not been changed nor were the amenities replenished.

WE couldn't receive the upgrade we requested but I am sure that was due to the Beyonce' concert and the hotel being full to capacity. Also at check in desk clerk had a person at her desk. I thought she was an employee since she kept commenting during my conversation with the clerk. I then figured out that she was also a guest. I wish the clerk would have asked her to step away or wait to help me until first guest left. Very strange check in.
