This Hotel was old and rundown but the suites were awesome . The play area was awesome and the breakfast was great. The check in was a great experience and we even got 2 goodie bags for the grandkids. Very nice staff! LOVED ALL THE FLAGS!! Would stay there again.

The room was clean and comfortable and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good. The only down sides were that the wi-fi in the room was sketchy, there was no cell service in the rooms if you are a Verizon customer (the hotel made up for this by allowing free long distance phone calls) and the pool was quite cold. all in all I would definitely stay here again.

We checked in for a two night stay, the hotel looks NOTHING like the pictures on the web site. I even called the hotel and asked because I had seen a few bad reviews, they assured me they were false. The pool was so cold no one could swim in it. Every family there seemed disappointed, my grandsons lips were purple and his teeth were chattering. When we explained to the hotel that part of our vacation was to let the kids swim and we would like to cancel our next nights stay they were unwilling to... Read more

The place was outdated but for the money spent...its what is expected. The kids really enjoyed the pool area. We had a room that offered plenty of space. Downfall was the floor looked like it was caving in areas in pool area. Floors throughout were uneven. Location was nice with being around plenty of shops and restaurants.

The staff at check out and prior to our arrival was very hospitable and courteous. When we checked in, it was rather late, but we had to search for the front desk clerk. Note: when found the clerk was not sleeping, but was working on something in the meeting room. The interior of the building needed renovations, there sounds leaks, the stairs nearest our room carpeted the first few steps at the top were quite unevenly noticible. The security lock on the bedroom was not only a little outdated but... Read more

This property was no doubt a grand lady in her day! Large, sprawling layout with a large pool & game area in the center. The hotel is very worn - faded & chipped paint, dented trim & worn carpet characterizes the property. The property's best feature, is the staff - without a doubt, the staff works very, very hard to keep the facility clean, and make your stay as pleasant as possible. Hotel is just a few minutes from Grant's Farm, and about 15 min from Six Flags.

The hotel was very nice. We had a great stay at the room, and the breakfast tasted great. They had a nice selection of games to play in the arcade, including a billiards table. The pool was a nice size and great to swim around in. It was a nice place to sleep for the night while on our way to Chattanooga, TN.

The foyer and entry ways of hotel was miserably hot, like a sauna. We could not enjoy spending time with friends in sitting areas because there was no air movement whatsoever- when I told desk clerks that it was hot in gazebo area they repeatedly said they were saving energy. It was a okay stay. We arrived booking a 1 king 2 double bed suite ended up with a 3 double bed suite. Front desk happily switched our room to what we booked. Although the first room was much cleaner than the one we were switched to. Found what seemed to be bones from a steak on the floor. Hotel was very hot due to the a/c unit vent being inside the hotel hallways. The pool was very crowed as well. It was a good place to stay for a night.

The appearance is a little dated more outside than inside, but we enjoyed our stay. Hotel as a whole could be revamped and cleaned up- but the free breakfast was a plus. They offered cereals, pancakes, waffles, bagels, yogurts, biscuits, gravy, sausage, eggs, juices, and milk. Our room was very large with 3 beds for my large family, 2 TVs and 2 desk and chairs. Plenty of room. Hotel also offers indoor pool, arcade area, child play area and other amenities. Would stay again.

The hotel rooms was weird. Although I love the size, the layout was strange. The toilet was in a different room than tub. The air or lack of made for a real hot night. There was a box fan in the room to help but it really didn't. For the price of the room, it should have had a functioning unit. It is close to shopping and food which is the only reason I gave it a 3.

Many of the rooms open onto the interior courtyard or corridors, but ours opened to the parking lot. Lots of maintenance and update issues. Broken pieces of wood/railings in Atrium. Pieces of plaster and paint chipping off walls in room. Electrical chords to electronics and lighting exposed. tub and drains do not drain well. Hot water is luke warm. Box fan in room to circulate ac. Dingy. The beds were comfortable and appeared cleaned. however, furniture, baseboards and bathrooms need alot of attention. This location has a wonderful courtyard with pool, game area, playground and places to gather. The breakfast had many options and was very complete. The only negative is the necessity to vent the air-conditioners to the inside hallway making it very hot to walk to your room. Other than that the rooms were clean and nice and comfortable.

Ours was a one night stay that was convenient to many activities in St. Louis. The hotel is older, but it has been painted and updated. Staff were available & friendly. The hotel & pool were busy--seemed family oriented, with a nice play area-- to keep the younger kids occupied. As we are older and had a room near the pool & play area, we appreciated the pool hours/noise being limited from 10 to 10. At dawn, the breakfast area was spacious, well kept and well staffed.

I don't have lofty expectations for a cheap hotel. Clean with decent bathing facilities is really all I ask. I think this is a reclaimed holidome from the 80's that probably should have been put out of its misery in the 90's. For starters, the metal entry door to our wing appeared to have been picked up at a salvage yard after being run over a time or two (a sign of things to come). They have taken out walls of adjoining rooms and patched them up with plywood trim. The bathroom is broken int... Read more

Hotel is behind a pub so it's hard to find. Parking is bad! Room was so small and the bathroom is tiny! Bed were hard and uncomfortable. Swimming pool is indoors and the whole building smells like chlorine. Front desk attendant hardly paid any attention when we checked in. Location is just horrible!!!!

The staff was very friendly and made check in a breeze. The stairwell leading up to the room had holes in the wall. The room was clean, however it to had cosmetic issues. It was a nice stay for the night but would not recommend it for longer then a night.

Stayed here for a family getaway in St. Louis with my husband and I and our two young adult children. Two room suite with three beds was perfect for us. Provided plenty of room for all of us to relax. Close to shopping and easy to hop on the interstate to get to attractions in the St. Louis area. Bathrooms a bit small, but separate toilet and shower areas was convenient.

Centrally located near restaurants, stores & Hi-way access. Kids loved the pool & game room. Breakfast was great the first day (week day) then was average during the weekend days. Rained while we were there and there were a few roof leaks into the inside of hotel. Plus it was really hot especially when you walked up to the 2nd floor. Room was cool the first night we arrived and then it barely cool the rest of the time even though we had it cranked as low as it would go plus had to run the b... Read more

This is not a 4 or 5 star Hotel but I had already stayed here before and just found it be ok. The room was clean for the most part and comfortable. The pool was not heated but we could still swim. The breakfast was just ok. There is a lot of room for improvement here but not sure if it would be worth it given it's age. It looks like a old Holiday Inn that has been renovated a long time ago and nothing since. It looks like someone made half attempt to fix this up and quit too soon. If I were... Read more

It is an ok place. We were woke up at 9:30 by phone ringing to see if we were going to stay another night and we had a 2 night reservation. I had oral surgery later the day before and needed to sleep because it was just a few hours before that, that I had got to sleep. So somebody wasn't paying attention. But I did appreciate the late check out the next day. Bed was really raised high off floor...hard for me to get in and out of, mine at home is high but not that high.

I have stayed at this location many time just this year. The staff (in this case Ann) always seems to be friendly, and it has always been a good stay. It is an older location, but is always clean and comfortable. They have a good breakfast, and a large pool area. It looks like they are in the process of maybe building a new motel at that location in the next few years.

This was by far the worst hotel experience I have ever had and most likely ever will have had in my entire life. When we arrived at our suite it was over 80 degrees in temp. They switched us to a room downstairs that was much cooler. Early the next day our toilet decided to start gushing gallons of water per second all throughout our entire room. Flooded entire room ruining some of our belongings and causing us to switch rooms again. IF we didn't have a family event to be at we would have left t... Read more

Have stayed here twice a year for about 7 years and have chosen to not return. After getting to my room, there were several things missing, not major, but irritating. The room was in the location I requested which is a plus. However, one night while trying to sleep, I could hear the sounds of a guest upstairs urinating, followed by a flush. That was the deciding factor. Do want to say that the staff have always been friendly, willing to help, and able to answer any questions about the facili... Read more

The staff was exceptionally nice and helpful. Location was perfect for my trip. I thought the room was below standard. I had a suite which was just two rooms without a door between them. There living area had an old chair and a work desk. There wasn't a good way for two people to watch TV. Breakfast was good. Didn't use the pool but it looked good.

The overall stay was ok. I got the hotel free using my reward points otherwise if I would of spent the $100 a night they wanted I would of been mad. The hotel is really out of date and needs to be cleaned up. The rooms were so old and outdated. The hotel staff was very nice and they did have an indoor pool, games, and a free breakfast in the mornings. We also couldn't get any Wifi.
