Close to the highway but our room on the top floor was pretty quiet. Super large room with comfortable bed. Pretty good wifi too. Very friendly staff member at reception. Nice hot breakfast got us on our way in the morning.

The room was large and it was in a convenient location, right off the highway and next to a Cracker Barrel. Cleanliness could be improved - found hairs in the beds. Also something made a chirping noise all night (think it was the microfridge). Breakfast had a good selection. OK for a night.

My husband and I traveled to Saint Joseph to be with family after the death of his grandmother. His boss was gracious enough to help out with hotel recommendations. The company my husband works for has a corporate card with Comfort Inn & Suites and use them on a frequent basis. Unfortunately the front desk help was not familiar with the corporate card that was on file and when he asked the GM for assistance she was very rude. She refused to help us book the room and my husband's boss had to call... Read more

This hotel doesn't quite live up to the standards of most CS. The beds were ok but the breakfast was the worst. Seating was very tight with only a couple of tables. Cleanliness wasn't the top concern either. I know there are better choices in St Joe than this one.

This place was a disappointment from the time we drove into the parking lot. The grass had not been cut or trimmed around the parking lot for weeks. We had to wait while the desk clerk carried on a personal conversation with apparently another client of the hotel. The room was clean but certainly well used and in need of being updated. We tried to access the hotel wi-fi and found we needed an access code. I called the front desk several times and got no answer. I then went down to the front... Read more

This Comfort Suites is located just off the interstate in a very quite location. There are a number of places to eat within one mile. The rooms are of good size, clean, and comfortable. The water pressure was great and provided a very good shower. While the property is older...it is well maintained. The breakfast buffet was good with nomal selections of cold and hot breakfast offering.

I rely alot on Trip Advisor when booking my rooms. I saw the reviews weren't great, but I've stayed here before and it wasn't great, but it was a lil higher than average. We were willing to give it a shot since it was renovated since we had been there last. We are Choice members and have stayed at alot of Choice hotels, primarily Comfort Suites, unfortunately this is the worst review I have had to give. From the moment you walk through the door you get that not so clean feeling. Once we ch... Read more

We started in this comfort hotel very recently. When we got to the d desk, there was a sign saying clerk wound be back. We didn't wait long. We had reserved two rooms. The desk clerk put us on separate floors. Strike one... She did move one of the rings so we were right down the hall from each other but acted like it was a chore. We have.been traveling for a couple of weeks always with two rooms. This was the first time our rooms weren't right next to each other. As we were getting read... Read more

After 11 hours on the road, we were looking forward to showers and getting into bed. When I made the reservation a couple of hours earlier, the desk clerk had a heavy accent and I had to ask him to repeat often. When we got into the room, I sent my grandson to the shower then turned on the water in the sink. The stopper was neither open or closed and wouldn't move, so water filled the sink. When it all ran out, there was a terrible sewer odor coming from the drain. I ran more water through t... Read more

We have stayed at the Comfort Suites in St. Joseph numerous times but the last time in June 2016 was not our best stay Our room was on the top floor and there were a lot of guests checking in. Our room was located in a floor where most of the guests had three children with them that were under the age of 8. The children were running up and down the halls and banging into the doors and treating the hallway like it was a playground and there was no adult supervision of these children. I think... Read more

Check in took longer than anticipated since the only person working was on the phone and there was already a group ahead of us when we arrived. Room was basic and the carpet seemed dirty. Not a lot of options at breakfast.

I must confess I was leery of staying here after reading the trip advisor reviews & also seeing that in August this property will become a Quality Suites. My experience has been that Quality properties are not as well maintained as Comforts are. Our room is nice, reasonably priced & clean. The front desk staff was pleasant when we checked in & although Cracker Barrel isn't my favorite restaurant it's nice to have that option right next door. It is down a hill so you have to walk to the back of t... Read more

It's apparently changed names, just with the same brand. I was thoroughly confused trying to find this place while on my motorcycle. Anyway, the lady at the front desk was super friendly. The hotel was very nice looking and the room was very nice too. Beds were a bit flat and not super soft, everything was clean and spacious. Business center was inoperable. Maybe due to the name change? Fitness room had four large pieces of equipment and the treadmill worked fine for me.

Everything was awesome. Clean rooms. Soft beds. Plenty of pillows. Thick towels. Friendly staff. Good water pressure. Walking distance to Cracker Barrel. Also lots of shopping and other restaurants within a few blocks. Will definitely stay again.

The bathroom is a little small.... Wellll, not a little, a lot! But despite it's size, we still had a hot shower! Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and as always, the breakfast bar! Would I book again, more than likely...

I booked though Choice Hotel site & it said this was a Comfort Suites. My confirmation email said Comfort Suites. When we arrived it was a Quality Suites - not Comfort Suites. Exterior was in desperate need of attention. Grass needed to be mowed & landscaping consisted of rocks with weeds growing in them. The attempt to patch the crumbling threshold at the entrance was deteriorating. Common areas not well maintained & the light in the elevator had dead bugs in it! The next morning we chec... Read more
