I visit St Louis a few times a year for business, and often stay here for its location and free parking. This visit the only thing I needed was to be able to check in at 3pm, as is their stated policy. I had A major conference call scheduled at 4, and frankly this hotel almost always seems empty. (And seemed that way last night too.). I arrived at 3:15 and was told there were no rooms available. Tony at the front desk went to speak to someone about an upgrade and told me "the upgrade has been ... Read more

We have stayed at the Frontenac before. This was a family trip to attend our twin granddaughters' college graduation. As always, the hotel was great. Recently redecorated. It was a busy weekend, so not having a hotel "problem" was great. While I went to the Zoo with my grandson, my wife was at the pool getting some sun. The manager came out and checked to see if she needed anything. That's just great service. Thanks.

I had previously stayed at this hotel 10 years ago for another job and enjoyed my stay then. After having my work vehicle flooded in a parking lot during a flash flood, I decided to stop half way home since I spent half a day waiting around for a rental car and it was late. Everyone is so very friendly and they didn't know what I had experienced so I can say that they treat all their guests well! The hotel is easy to access off of the interstate and is newly renovated with a modern design. Roo... Read more

The room had been redone, the bar was nice, the bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. The downsides were a very small bathroom ( no room even to put a small toilet kit) and the free wi-fi was pretty slow. Moreover, there was a musty smell on the first floor.

I called to speak to a manager and the supervisor didn't resolve my issue. Why would I be charged for a third night?? I wasn't even there AND I have my folio. This is unacceptable. We had 30 people staying at the hotel for team meetings this week. We ate in the restaurant for lunch, utilized meeting spaces, banquet services and enjoyed the lounge in the evening. The rooms, service and food were excellent. A few examples...I love the hotel and room interior design and how they married modern with historic. Hotel is nice and in a beautiful building. If you don't get a room in the main building (there are several disconnected buildings that make up all the rooms) it can be a bit of an inconvenience. Fitness center is in another building, different from where the pool was. That made it a bit inconvenient. The biggest pain was getting in and out of the parking lot. Stayed at the Hilton Frontenac for one night, two queen beds. We were given a room in the 'Villa'. Immediately, as we walked into the building, there was an overwhelming musty smell. My son commented that it smelled like a cave. The room seemed clean. The bathroom was as small as an RV bathroom. The room is dark and dank, as there is only one small window, facing the freeway. When the A/C unit kicked in, the musty smell was terrible. I would not stay here again because of this.

stayed here because of university city, h.s. 50 yr. reunion. our two story building had no elevator to carry our baggage upstairs to our room. bathroom door dragged heavily on the floor. not a new problem, i'm sure, but hadn't been fixed. probably a good facility for large groups, but hard to find your way around despite having a map. no fridge or microwave in our room. high priced food in restaurant and bar. we didn't eat there.

Great hotel. Staff was fantastic, room was great. Bartenders were fantastic. I would stay again for sure. The food was excellent at the restaurant as well. It was a great experience. Close to shopping and a short drive to most STL attractions.

Stayed one night here on our way west. Room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Hotel is 5-10 minutes from St Louis Galleria mall. Plenty of places to eat if you choose. A Schnucks grocery is across the street.

We are originally from St. Louis but moved away almost 50 years ago. We have traveled many places to various parts of the world but my favorite hotel is Hilton Frontenac. It is where I feel very much at home now especially since most of our family are gone. Love the decor and the staff are friendly and helpful. The location is great too. Hope to return soon.

We've stayed at the Hilton Frontenac in St. Louis numerous times and it's always a pleasurable experience. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well appointed. The in-hotel dining is very good and there are several excellent restaurants in the area as well. The Hilton Frontenac is always our first choice in the St. Louis area.

The Frontenac is a well-maintained hotel with a helpful staff. I have stayed there several times, and the rooms are always immaculate. It is near a high-end mall, if that is your thing, but since it is located on a very busy road, it is somewhat hard to walk around.
