We really enjoyed the stay at this Hilton. It was beautiful and the location was central to several fun activities. Excellent valet team! They were so helpful in getting us to our event on time. We were very pressed for time after driving several hours to get to STL. I electronically checked in on the drive in and called ahead to the valet.

Friendly service. Room was nice. We had two full beds in adjoining rooms, making for plenty of space for our family of 6! Staff were quick to bring extra towels, etc. when asked. Check-in and Check-out were quick and efficient. Only complaint would be that they don't' have a pool..which our kids would have enjoyed...and there was no breakfast included with the stay (including even a continental breakfast).

Enjoyed my stay, the place is nice and the rooms are clean. One of the better breakfast buffets which was great because I don't like to linger. One oddity was a daily charge for parking. Usually parking is validated at the Hiltons I've used but not here. Seems to be a thing in St. Louis. I've stayed in a couple of downtown hotels and they all do it here. The rates vary quite a bit from hotel to hotel as well. The hotel was walking distance from several eateries and the arch. Wi-Fi is mediocre. Y... Read more

We had the most amazing experience here. Everyone treated us the same as the more professional suit and tie guests. Diona and Tye welcomed us and helped with any needs we had at the front desk. Geof was kind enough to go above and beyond by taking time out to assist us with our belongings to our room. Mike remembered us everytime he saw us. Darrin catered to our every need in the refreshments category. Each employee took the time to give exceptional customer service and even cared enough to stop... Read more

Small rooms and services below average. We ordered and arrival package that never came. I had to verify that my account was not charged and the front desk "accommodated" us by giving us our order for free, that's fine, but not 7 hours later when the family is asleep and unable to enjoy it. Continuously had to request more towels since they only gave us 2 daily, even though we had 4 in a room. Services at the restaurant and bar were always busy doing other things besides serving customers.

Front desk staff was excellent. Room was beautiful, with very high ceilings and nice decor. However, first time ever we arrived to a room with only a scant amount of toilet paper on a roll, with no back-up roll. Obviously an oversight by housekeeping. We stopped at the desk on our way back to room, and they called housekeeping to request. More than 40 minutes passed, so we called housekeeping (no answer), so called the front desk again. Another 15 minutes passed before delivery. The hallway ... Read more

I just stayed in this hotel while on business and found it to be a respite in a big city. As a single female travelingtraveling alone I felt very safe. There was always someone at the front desk along with a doorman/bellhop - you even need your room card to use the elevator. The staff was very helpful - especially Tim, who assisted me even before I arrived (thank you, Tim!). The rooms are clean and very, very quiet (I'm a light sleeper who always packs ear plugs). This hotel is gorgeous. It was perfect for our visit to the arch, within walking distance. The rooms and whole facility was extremely clean. We also loved the parking package also, we were able to have unlimited access to the parking garage for $20 a day, which was cheaper for us than paying for parking each time we entered and exited the garages.

This hotel was extremely nice. The room was clean, staff were extremely helpful and courteous. This hotel is within walking distance of the Arch, and a short car ride to Anheuser-Busch. I met my best friend here to stay for the Paul McCartney show. Our flights got messed up because of weather and we had to cancel the first night of the weekend. That was no problem when we called them. It was actually my birthday when we arrived and my friend called downstairs for champagne to surprise me with. This they also easily delivered. Nice room, very clean, roomy bathroom, and comfortable bed. Walking distance from Busch Stadium. Also easy to get an Uber here. Downstairs was nice with a... Read more

We stayed at Hilton S. Louis Downtown at the Arch for 3 nights over the labor day weekend. This was our first time at this property. The hotel is located inside a historic bank building. Parking is located across the street. Check in was efficient and friendly. The room was OK, but the entire hotel did not really feel like a HHonors category 5 hotel. The clock in the room was unplugged and was not on time. The box of facial tissue was missing from the bathroom. The trash bin in the bathr... Read more

My family (1 adults and 2 teenagers) was in St.Louis for a quick visit to the Gateway Arch as a part of a family vacation. The hotel was within easy walking distance to the Gateway Arch, and there are restaurants within walking distance too. The front desk staff was very friendly. We had a corner room, and it was quite large. We were on a lower floor, so not much of a view, but we were only in the room to sleep - for 1 night. The breakfast buffet was good. This hotel is average as far as amenities go. Nothing special about the rooms, a little smaller than others. Expected a little more for the price. Must have room key to go up in the elevators and to enter main doors after 11 pm. This made me feel safe. Not a lot to do unless you are looking to visit the Arch or ballpark. Lumiere casino is within walking distance as well. Starbucks is served at the main bar until 10 am on weekdays and 1030 am on the weekend. Rooms were very clean. Staff seemed ve... Read more

Went to St Louis to tour the city and have some fun. The hotel is very convenient to the Arch, Busch Stadium, and the subway. Parking next door was also easy to access. The room was small, but nice. The main problem was the housecleaning. We used the glasses each night and they never replaced them without a call to get replacements. They also didn't vacuum. The location makes up for all the small things, but having a clean room is easy to fix and would improve the rating.

This was our second time staying at the Hilton St. Louis downtown at the arch. The first time we stayed was last year and thought that maybe the quality of our room was a "fluke" thing. The air conditioning leaked water in the room we were staying saturating the carpeting and the Ac worked poorly as well. We were not offered a different room, the front desk sent someone to look at the ac and the only fix was to sit a fan in the room to dry the carpet! On our most recent visit, Cubs/Cardinals gam... My Wife & I both liked this hotel and is actually slightly nicer than the Hyatt which we also stayed at. The only down side was I payed more to have a room with a city view and while arguably I did have a city view I was on the 2nd floor so it was a view a building and a car park. When I booked a City View rightly or wrong I just assumed it would be a view across the city. The hotel and rooms were great though and I would go back .

My only issues were (I) internet - it was complementary, but kept dropping... really annoying; (ii)room was dusty - chairs and some of the furniture. Otherwise, I have a great stay.

I have loved Hilton properties for years. I enjoy the consistency of knowing what to expect no matter where I am. The value for price paid can not be matched. The appreciation with which they treat their frequent travelers is unmatched. the rewards from points to complimentary water, snacks, and breakfast is amazing. Reservation made months in advance. Arrived at 6:00 pm with no room ready. Room finally given was across hall from ice machine, and faced ball park (we were there for a conference, not a ballgame). Music from the area so loud making it impossible to sleep. Also, no refrigerator in room.
