This hotel was wonderful. The front desk staff was about the nicest group I had ever met. We had a couple of questions we ask them and they went out of their way to help. Rooms were very nice and clean. Very quiet. The breakfast was outstanding. Will definitely stay at this Hampton next time we visit St. Louis.

My husband and I enjoyed our two nights at this Hampton Inn. Our room was clean, and we just happened to have a perfect view of the arch. (Unfortunately, there is a lot of construction going on nearby, so it was not pretty to look at, but when there are finished it will be!) Like all Hampton Inns, they had breakfast available, and for free hotel breakfast, it was really good! The staff was pleasant and helpful, and our room was clean and comfortable. Wi-fi worked fine. An awesome location given the fact that it is surrounded by concrete. The arch, the stadium, the Mississippi river, the little shops and drop ins....and lets not forget The Tigin Irish Pub in the lobby area. Fun and motivated servers with a great menu.

My wife and I celebrated our 2 year anniversary. The hotel is in a great location to enjoy all St. Louis. The hotel staff was very friendly. Denise checked us in. It was her first day, and when she heard we were celebrating our anniversary she surprised us with a bottle of champagne, popcorn and chocolate dipped cookies. It made our anniversary that much more special. Highly recommend this place!

This was a clean hotel with friendly staff. There was a pool, although I never got a chance to use it. There is a small refrigerator in the room, but no microwave. Also, there's a small "store" in the lobby with basic items that might have been forgotten plus other things. The only part that I didn't like was how crowded and small the breakfast area was. Overall, nice place to stay.

Stayed here during a visit to the Arch in St. Louis, Mo. Had a room with a view of the Arch. The Arch is within walking distance and so are great restaurants, as well as The Trolley Tour. Clean room and friendly staff. I would stay here again.

The Hampton staff made our stay! We love the location because of it's proximity to the Gateway Arch, and places to dine and drink. We ended up liking it immensely more, because of their staffs welcome and quality of stay.

Stayed here for a quick weekend getaway with my daughter. The staff could not have been more helpful or friendly. They were quick to point us in the direction of a good restaurant, the best route to our sightseeing sights, and even to lend an umbrella in the downpour. Loved the location and all the amenitiies!

Decided to take a short trip to St. Louis. Never been and took a chance on where to stay. The location is fantastic and the staff at the hotel is phenomenal!! "John" is exceptional at his job and made me and my family feel more welcomed at this hotel than any I have ever stayed. The location is within walking distance to so many destinations. Only able to stay one night but didn't want to leave and have every intention of staying there again!!! Oh and the adjoining Irish Pub is a great spot too!... Read more

I drove to St. Louis from New York. The hotel is located approximately four street blocks from the Arch and the old courthouse. Also, near the hotel you will find the hop on hop off trolley. Since I drove, I paid $15 per day for parking. I liked the hotel parking facilities, they have an outdoor/indoor parking. The parking is within the hotel. The hotel is very nice and the room was clean and the size was perfect for my wife and I. The hotel has the best location specially during baseball se... Read more

Three stars only because of the indoor swimming pool and view of the Arch. Staff was courteous but facilities are very dated and AC was so noisy. Only stayed here because it has a great view of the Arch. Breakfast was below standard. Staff there was sweet but quality of food was not good. Rooms and bed were not well kept. Bathrooms were the same. Only redeeming quality was the peaceful and refreshing indoor pool. Enjoyed time there to relax bfr heading back to the room.

My wife and I had a fabulous eight night stay at the Hampton Inn at the St. Louis Arch. The staff could not have been more friendly. My wife is a picky person when it comes to hotel rooms and the staff. A person named Shirley was extremely polite and courteous with my wife on a daily basis. We found the bed very comfortable. I found the pillows fine but my wife thought they flatten out to much. The restaurant attached to the hotel was very nice. Great food and atmosphere with tables outside... Read more

The location of this hotel was just a couple of blocks from our IBEW conference which made it very easy to get to every day. I'd highly recommend it to anyone. The staff were very helpful and made my stay very pleasant.

I had the opportunity to stay at this hotel recently and I can say without a doubt it was terrific. The rooms are clean and spacious. We stayed on the 12th floor and was immediately greeted by the room attendant Laverne. She welcomed us and made sure we knew if we needed anything to just let her know. There are 3 elevators for moving people around quickly which was helpful as the hotel was full. Between the Joyce Meyer conference and the Cardinals game it was obvious the hotel had their han... The front desk does not care at all about the customers. When I arrived and explained about a leaking ac they would not move my room. The whole floor was soaked. They also did not clean the floor, only dried it. They would not switch my room and the front desk never ever apologized. Do not stay here. It is unclean and you deserve to be treated with respect.

We visited St. Louis for a parks and recreation conference. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. They remembered my name throughout the visit. Gave us great suggestions for dinner (Sugar Fire and Rosalita's). Custodial staff and kitchen staff smiled and said hello each time I saw them. My room was on the seventeenth floor. I could not hear any traffic at all, nor could I hear the elevator, even though it was right next to my room. The view of the arch was beautiful! The hotel was cl... Read more

What a great place to spend a week. The staff was amazingly friendly. The bed was super comfortable. Room was clean. It was nice to have a breakfast that offered more than just fruit and toast. The hotel is in close walking distance to almost everything, including the arch. I would definitely recommend.

Lives up to Hampton Inn standards - clean rooms, friendly staff. Within walking distance to things to do. Has self-park garage attached to hotel (hint: you have to park in front of hotel and check in before you park in garage). I'd stay here again.

We had a great view of the Arch from a room on the 12th floor. Staff was extremely nice and helpful. It is not quite "at the Arch." On a nice day, it is a pleasant 20 minute walk. Parking is $15, under cover. A number of restaurants in walking distance. Recommended!

We really enjoyed everything about our stay. The desk staff and breakfast staff were so helpful and friendly. We loved the fresh fruit at breakfast. The location was great- very close to the Metro and the Arch. It was about a 20 minute drive to the zoo, but for everything else we walked or took the metro.

First time to St Louis, and we couldn't have picked a better place to stay! They let us check in early gave us a super room with a perfect view of the Arch! Lent us umbrellas without us asking because it looked like rain!!! I wish I could remember the man who checked us in but he had the "Perfect Mustache"!! Beds were comfy & they have the nicest breakfast area, breakfast assortment & hostess we've had yet!

Although a little more dated than what I had expected, the level of friendliness and customer service was unbeatable. Breakfast area and gathering spaces were modern, clean and spacious! My corner room with fantastic view of the Arch and river was wonderful.
