We arrived in clear sight of the hotel only to be turned around by road closures due to road demolition. There were no clear detour signs and since the road work was new our GPS didn't pick up an alternate route. So we went around a bit for 20 minutes to get to the hotel. After a 5 hour drive from Lexington we were exhausted mentally from all the maneuvering. We heard at checkin the Mgt lodged a complaint with the city. This road work will continue thru the year, estimated completion 2017. They ... Read more

My husband and I always stay at the Embassy Suites; however, this time it was a huge mistake. There was a scary costume convention going on at the same time we checked in. All we saw were ghosts, zombies, fake blood, etc. It was so weird!! We always had to wait for the elevator because most of the elevators were full of people. The worst experience we had was we were turned away from their restaurant. The manager told us that they only had one server and she could not handle any more peop... Read more

The facility was well kept. The staff was exceptional. The noise level was high. Maybe a higher room would have helped. Our room had no window. If you like to take naps or go to bed early this is not the place to have a peaceful time. The room service was excellent but the food was not. There is free alcohol for two hours in the evening. There is a bar in the atrium. The small coffee shop filled the extra needs. The breakfast has omelets and pancakes to order. The kids loved this. Th... Read more

This location had construction occurring during the stay which woke me in the VERY early am hours. I also had a longer than average wait for breakfast. However I shared my concerns and the Manager dealt with this issues and concerns. I am a happy customer with the Hilton brand hotels. Thank you Hilton!!!!

This was my first time in an embassy and it was amazing. The hotel is gorgeous!! We were in for a costume convention and we had TONS of places to shoot for photos. The only thing I can say is that the staff seemed unaccommodating to the needs of our convention. We told them there would be photo-shoots but staff still managed to make a big deal out of it. The guy who makes pancakes and the bus driver Dante were THE ABSOLUTE BEST!!! I also love the spacious rooms and the great breakfast (its free!... Read more

I was actually kind of surprised. I thought my stay was good not great. First. The room I stayed in smelled of heavy smoke in a non smoking area. They changed my room the next morning and that was way better but should they have rented it in the first place? You decide that. The breakfast the first day was good. The subsequent two days I skipped the custom eggs that Embassy is famous for because the line was about a 30 min wait. I don't think they have enough staff there to handle the volume t... Read more

Out of town on business, we originally was booked for the hotel in downtown st Louis but error we changing details ended up with a cancellation of all 3 rooms by error. Embassy downtown ended up getting booked. That??s when we changed to Embassy to St Charles and our company will only use this one when traveling to st Louis for work and personal use. Amazing customer service especially by Mr. mason, he worked in at the front desk

The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are nicely appointed. On the last morning of our stay we did not have hot water. We waited two hours for an Engineer that never appeared. We had to take cold/lukewarm showers before departing for the airport. We were not happy! Front Desk could have offered free lunch or dinner for next stay. Nothing was offered!

Check in was a nightmare. Was told my accommodations were paid for two weeks before my arrival, but upon my arrival it was an entire different story. Had to come up with funds that were earmarked for fun, to pay my remaining balance. Ruined my entire trip.

My wife and I were wanting to get away to the St. Charles MO area for a weekend. The accommodations were very good and the staff was very courteous and respectful. Major construction around the hotel which made it challenging to navigate but they provided great assistance with maneuvering around the area of St. Charles. Breakfast was fresh and hot. Room was clean and comfortable especially since heat indexes exceeded 100 degrees during our stay. Overall recommend this hotel in a heartbeat!

This is a beautiful, well-maintained hotel with a great breakfast. However, upon check-in at 2 AM our first room reeked of cigarette smoke. We were moved to a different room. Once again, smokers had been in the room which had been 'treated' with a powerful scent/chemical to 'remove' odor. When you are a non-smoker, the 'treatment' does not work. Everything smells including all your clothing. Very, very disappointed, when one is paying $200 a night and are expecting a non-smoking room with ... Read more

My family of five stayed recently for just one night as we drove through town. The room, with its really high ceilings gave you such a roomy feeling. We were had two beds in a bedroom separated by a door and my son had the pull-out sofa. The bathroom was quite spacious. I have stayed here multiple times. I don't think it is up to normal embassy suite standards but it is conveniently located to access everything in the metro area. The made to order kitchen is tiny so expect long waits for omlets and pancakes. Evening reception snacks consisted of goldfish and Chex mix. Other embassy's will serve a dip and crackers, but the drinks are good as always. I will stay there again but I don't expect an average hotel experience when I go.

My wife and I stayed at the Embassy Suites and immediately found two maintenance problems when we checked into our room. The staff quickly responded and everything was fixed in a timely manner. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the full breakfast buffet and afternoon snacks beer/wine add to the value. Tip - Cabs aren't always available outside so ask one of the reception staff to request one 10 or 15 minutes before you need to depart.

Well, this place is full capacity all the time. Had to walk up to the 7th floor each time because I did not want to wait on an elevator, or fight for one when one arrived. Good exercise though for an old fat man. The only relaxation was in the room, which was average. They could use some air fresheners. Kids running around everywhere. I may not even take the free breakfast because I know it will be like standing in line at Disney.

Was in the area for a few nights for a conference. Would stay here again no hesitation. Room was a very generous size. The free made to order breakfast is probably the best free hotel breakfast I've ever had. I've also never stayed somewhere that had a free happy hour for guests, that was a fantastic treat. They also have a free shuttle available to local places (not the airport) which came in handy. I didn't take advantage but they had both a pool and fitness room available. Overall room way ti... Overall my experience was okay. The major disappointment came when I family and I were standing on the stairwell to take photo when a mouse started running around the hotel. And that made me very very disgusted embarrassed and frustrate. I was so frustrated because we had just finished eating entree for the evening and to see a mouse running about after we eat just made me sick to my stomach so average is the rating I have to give because what happened.

Attended a conference at this hotel. Accommodations of very clean and quiet room, and friendly staff throughout, made this stay a very good experience. Many other groups were also at the hotel. The staff was ready and welcoming. Free breakfast buffet display was well-organized and clean. Good amount of breakfast food options. Conference room was well-stocked with snacks and drink. I recently stayed at the Embassy Suites Convention Center in St. Charles Mo. Very nice and well kept property. Rooms were clean and excellent bedding. Staff members were very pleasant and taking care of the guests were their primary concern. The restaurant there leaves a lot to desire. Very limited menu, understaffed. There are many nice restaurants in the vicinity. The hotel is excellent, the breakfast is good, good drinks during the afternoon reception, just stay away from the restaurant.

I was in town for a convention which was held in the attached convention center. The room was very nice and comfortable. The breakfast was good, however, the lines for omlets was very long at times. Only one cook. Check in was super smooth as well as check-out. Very friendly staff. Will stay there again for sure. The only complaint was not the hotels fault.
