This hotel needs a lot of work. The noise of people walking around above us made it difficult to sleep. Anything we plugged into the bathroom electrical outlets would not stay plugged in. The kleenex box was empty, there was no laundry bag, no luggage rack, and no dog-walking area even though they are pet-friendly. The breakfast was sub-par as was the shower. Not worth the price.

I drove into bad weather as I headed through Kansas City late at night and decided I needed to overnight there . I called La Quinta (always my first choice as they are pet friendly as well as very clean) about 11.00 pm and was welcomed as I arrived about midnight, Slept well and was on the road again the next morning after breakfast. Thank you La Quinta

I am not sure what people expect when they choose a property on the lower end of the price spectrum. I know I chose this La Quinta because it is the cheapest one in KC. The room was fine, there was no odor. The air conditioning worked, though I had to crank down pretty low. Some of the furnishing were a little bit worn, but I am not moving in there, it was just for one night. I lived in KC 49 years, and I know what areas are safer than others. This location was right off 1-29 and while not... Read more

My room was all the way at the end of the hall... but it was not that full. Refrigerator was not only not working but Smelled bad. I pulled out the hideabed couch to see if it was plugged in and found a ton of old garbage behind the couch... YUCH... not helping in the comfort factor. Did tell the front desk and they said they would look into it. The whole property is really in decline and most of that is just plain maintenance and upkeep. I might have to look at the Econolodge next door or ju... Read more

We came for a math competition because this hotel was near the community center. Was perfect for that. Room was clean. Front desk clerk was nice. Breakfast room needs to be rearranged. Couldn't get to the microwave cause people were at the waffle iron. You know how at most hotels the attendent is always cleaning up and restocking? Never saw one. Cereal all over. Over all was ok but no wow factor.

The hotel was tired and dirty. Our room had a weird odor that hit you in the face when you opened the door. No fridge or microwave at least the wifi was free. For a hundred dollars I expect at least clean and a pleasant smell. Pillows were cheap and sad very uncomfortable. I travel with a pillow which I left by accident. When I called they said they had it and would send it for twenty dollars.. Knew it would cost me but that seemed high. Very disappointed this chain used to be great. Will ... Read more

Staff was nice and polite, the location is convenient but the room needs repair. The bath tub was cracked with stains and updates are needed. The windows are breaking down but it was quite and I slept well.

Our room was okay on first glance but the bathroom had a hint of sewage smell to it and there was mold above the shower head. The hotel overall seemed tired and could use a face lift. Breakfast was very basic but the staff was very nice. The area of city this is located in is a little sketchy and I would not recommend the bar and grill (Helen's) that's within walking distance - terrible service.

The hotel and staff were very good. The welcoming staff was very informative and helped when needed. The room was clean and had everything that I needed. Unfortunately I was on the road before breakfast so I cannot comment on it.

I had an excellent stay at this hotel - no issues what-so-ever. Bed was very comfortable - slept like a baby. Everything was clean and the staff was very pleasant and there were no noise issues. I will be staying here again when i'm in the area. Oh, and the price was right too... :)

Everything about this place screamed OLD! Carpet was so worn from the hallway to the rooms. Bathrooms and bedrooms need to be remodeled. One compliment--staff was great. However, this is not a place I would stay again and it was definitely WAY OVERPRICED!

We checked in and went up to our room. There was hair in our shower. There was no soap or shampoo in our room. I found dog food on our floor. The place smelled musty. The front desk people were nice. The breakfast was a normal "free" breakfast.

I have never filled out a review on a hotel before, but after checking in and spending 2 hours in this hotel, I HAD to! We have always had good luck with LaQuinta Hotels, but immediately when we checked it it was apparent this would be different. I counted 6 dead bugs around my feet while checking in, the halls and carpet were old and dirty with stains. Our room had dried toothpaste on the wall, hair on the toliet, and the bathroom smelled of sewage. I was afraid to take my shoes off, or sleep i... Read more

Room was not clean. Stains on bed cover, stains on the wall, dirty bathroom. They need to have a meeting with the cleaning staff and get it worked out if they want to be a respected location. Also, replace the carpeting in the hallway. I pay to feel clean, otherwise I would camp.

We stayed one night and while not a great hotel - it was as expected for a 2 1/2 star that I had reserved using priceline. Breakfast area was compact and hard to get more than two or three people up there getting their breakfast. Hours were 6 to 9 AM every day so make sure you don't sleep in or you miss it. They had boiled eggs, toast, waffle maker, cereal, nothing hot but that is kind of expected at most free breakfast hotels. . Room was fine with small coffee maker, flat screen TV. Parkin... Read more

Even though hotel is older, it has been very well maintained. The room & bathroom were exceptionally clean. I loved the cuddly, plump, soft pillows. I normally have trouble sleeping on first night away from home, but slept like a baby all 3 nights. Would definitely stay here again.

I arrived at 11:30 pm and staff did some mistake while checking me in by updating my membership number & erased all credit card info given by the company. The lady asked me, she cannot check me in until i call company and have them send over credit card details again. It was middle of the night and impossible to get company card details. i paid by my personal card & checked out very next morning otherwise i had a plan to stay for 2 weeks, which i am currently staying at Best Western. it was your... Nice quiet hotel, near the freeway for pass through traveling. Due for a refurbish, but all is in working order. Convenient Denny's and Subway right across the parking lot. Ask for the quiet side of the hotel.

I stayed at the Best Western Country Inn North the night before, but I refused to stay a second night and I saw this place when I came to get dinner at the McDonalds the night before. I decided to give it a shot, it was cheaper than the Best Western, Indoors, and everything was just a little nicer, not great but nothing to complain about. The rooms were a little nicer and a little cleaner, the staff was actually present everytime I went to the desk and for the most part friendly, nobody tried t... Read more

The lobby smelled like an ashtray.............as I was signing a non smoking contract at the front desk. Run Down and Dirty! elevator was filthy. Continental Breakfast is a joke. Rooms are run down and dirty. This place needs torn down. I was afraid to taKe a shower here as it was so dirty (good thing I bring disinfectant wipes to hotels with me). Shower was not in good repair, bugs in the hallways...........ugh.....NEVER AGAIN.

This location is clean and the staff is EXTREMELY professional and friendly. They are dog friendly, however becareful when walking the dogs on the grassy area as there are no "pick up" supplies and as a result there are piles of dog waste all around. If you are a pet owner PLEASE pick up after your pet. Breakfast was good and really, for a budget type facility it definitely met the expectations.

I usually stay at a Laquinta in CO and the interior of that hotel is new and updated. I was expecting the same quality and was disappointed. The carpet is old and worn. The rooms are clean, but the decor is old and outdated.

The TV did not work in the room we were assigned so we had to move to another room. The management was very quick to respond with a new room and very courteous. Check-in was a breeze. Breakfast leaves a lot to be desired. The tables weren't cleaned off. Someone had spilt milk all over the counter, floor and some chairs. They needed instructions put on the waffle maker cause people were making a big mess out of it. The hotel was easy to get to with plenty of good parking.

Came her mainly cause my Dog was whining in the car, once here the lady at the front desk, SUPER NICE, but in the room, found hair on the towel, when I was taking a shower, the water wouldnt drain fully, and a very annoying thing, since i have to wake up early, the plug by the bed is pushed back in the wall, and cannot charge my iphone cause of the block charger, luckily since im moving across country, i had a power strip with me. Other than that, the room is nice, quiet, and other than the smal... Read more

It starts off when we arrive after driving 12 hrs from New Mexico to this hoyel. Upon arrival we are told that our reservation was cancelled . We reserved a KING ROOM with microwave and refrigerator. Even though it was guaranteed by my credit card. Then she said I don't know where I'm going to put you. So we wound up in room #115. It was a FULL SIZE BED for 2 and the TV did not work. This hotel in very clean. It was large rooms, huge desk that serves as a table, too. Leather chair is large and comfy. Breakfast. King bed was great. At 10 pm our bathroom light burned out. The staff that are always positive and nice, came right away and changed the light. Lots of fast food restaurants within a 1/4 mile. We came back twice more! Free hi-speed WIFI that was super.

I asked for a smoking ADA room. The hotel is non smoking and the ADA room is not if I had been wheelchair confined I wouldn"t of been able to use the bathroom or the sink. I would not beable to use the coffee pot.
