The room appeared nice and clean, the only problem was the bed. When you sit or move on it, the bed would creek and sway like it was going to collapse at any moment.

Hotel was like staying at home. Full size kitchen with amenities. Separate rooms were amazing, especially with kids. Front desk staff was friendly and very helpful when it came to trying to figure out what all to do in St. Louis. The manager Michael was friendly and efficient. Very knowledgeable of area. Kati printed stuff off of the internet for us. Devon and Lamar were friendly kids with great personalities!

When I say I really love the peace of mind that I have found while staying at this hotel. It was my home away from home. I enjoyed my staycation here. The 2 bedroom made it feel homey and my cousin and I fell in love as soon as we opened the door. Plenty of space to just stretch out and enjoy life and very affordable as well. I would recommend them to anybody looking to escape.

It was very nice and clean place to stay. Wish we could of been on the bottom floor, the stairs were a little much. We had a penthouse that was very nice for 5 of us. Loved the breakfast and also social hour the hotel provided. We also had the patio to a big group of 21 and were able to stay out there past midnight and no one telling us to leave. This hotel was very accommodating.

We rented the penthouse, so this was a $175 nightly stay. Check in was great, had no problems at all. Got to our room to discover the air was sent on 72, but it was 77 in our room. Called front desk and they sent a maintenance man, who told us the coil had froze and it would be about 45 min. No big deal...we were headed out to watch a Baseball game. We were assured this would not be a problem, and our room would be cool when got back around 11 pm from the game...this was at 5 pm. So we got some ... Read more

My family and I really enjoyed our stay here. The room was nice and clean. We loved the full kitchenette. Very friendly staff. Would have given 5 stars but our bathroom face and hand towels looked old and stained and the swimming pool water was very cloudy looking. Other than that would definitely stay here again.

Room was nice and clean. Check in was easy, quick and friendly desk staff. Breakfast was above average for hotel. Nothing special nothing to complain about. Bed was comfy and slept well. Never heard the other guest next to us or above us. Planning another trip and will be staying again in August. The only complaint was one of the housekeeping staff did not like her job and she let us know. Really didn't want my 2 year old daughter hearing some of the things she had to say. Pros: Friendly staff, comfortable room, quiet property. Cons: WiFi signal was so weak that I hardly ever used it. Hot breakfast buffet was just ok-the oatmeal looked disgusting. The kitchen stove was dirty and the pots/pans had crusted burned food on them.

We liked being away from the busy downtown. It's only about 30 minutes to convention center. Was very quiet. Which we appreciated. My husband got sick on our flight there. Hence had to stay in the room the whole 5 day trip. Staff was helpful to find us an urgent care.

For the price you cant beat it! Hadn't stayed at a Hawthorn Suites before and we were very happy! The room was spacious and clean. There were dishes, etc. in the kitchen if we had needed them. A full fridge, stove etc. It was quiet and comfortable. The staff was exceptional! All for the same price we would have paid at a regular hotel! I will definitely be looking for more Hawthorn Suites to stay at in the future.

Wonderful hotel. The room was nice, spacious and very clean. The pillows were super soft, and the place was quiet even on a Father's Day weekend. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was always way over crowded and guests had to clean the tables. Overall, a great experience.

Came in town from Chicago for a family reunion. This place is really nice. It has the vibe of a timeshare with the kitchen, 2 bathrooms, 2 queen beds and sofa sleeper. Complimentary breakfast was good and decent variety. I'm coming back in town the month of September and strongly considering staying here again.

Well here goes. We arrived around midnight after a long drive from Wi. There were 4 police cars that took up the carport area....no cops.....door to enter lobby locked with a sign saying be right back. 20 min later the attendant returned as did the police and then I heard that they were all ejecting clients who were too loud and rowdy. Then I was informed that they did not have the suite available that I booked for my party of 5. While they did put us in 2 rooms the bedding option of having kin... Read more

Sometimes its hard to leave the hotel for sightseeing or activities because we have so much fun swimming, playing basketball, grilling out or sitting by the patio fire place. Stayed for two nights in July 2016 and the suite was very nice. The original room they gave me was on the ground floor which meant the windows mostly looked out on the staircase, but they quickly filled my request to move to a second floor suite. Not the greatest parking lot or best looking hotel at first look. After checking in, the hotel was above what I expected but below what they advertise. Great room ,great bed a lot of pillows and above average breakfast but still it was a hotel breakfast. I'd stay here again and Id tell a friend. The location makes getting around greater St. Louis a breeze. The friendly, helpful staff - from the manager to desk staff to the cooks to the housekeepers - make life easier. And more pleasant. There's even a night watchman and/or a late-shift maintenance tech walking the grounds and keeping an eye on things at night. I liked that.
