Very evident that property is being upgraded. Everywhere you looked, you could see that a serious investment is being made to make this the premier resort property at the Lake. Would definitely stay again.

Just one night @ the lodge but was a bit disappointed . They are under renovation but was disappointed by lack of hospitality and amenities. Our floor in the hall had the carpet ripped up forcing us to walk on smelly padding. The indoor pool hot tub area was closed due to " chemical imbalance". The curfew of after10pm for loud and disruptive behavior was in no way upheld . Only one restaurant open on the property and it was very average.

Bought this stay through Groupon special. We drove 4 hours from Broken Arrow to get there, but it was worth it! Our room was recently updated as the property is in the middle of renovation. That didn't affect our stay. We just saw new carpets, new chairs, new furniture and comfortable bedding. The balcony held two chairs and a table. We had a nice view of the lake. The staff were all friendly and smiling. We went to the inside bar the first night and the bartender was very friendly. Outside bar ... Read more

I stayed here for a police conference. There seemed to be a lot to do at the resort, although I didn't get to experience much of it. Food was good and rooms were spacious! The price of the rooms are a bit high as is the food. However the quality was good! I'd stay here again and next time bring the family!

This resort is beautiful and overlooks the lake. We were placed in the Avila building and our room was very nice. We didn't have a fridge or microwave but were able to make it work without those. The shower and jacuzzi tub were beautiful and stone tiled. The beds were very comfortable and not too hard like most resort beds usually are. Each room is supplied with a Keurig as well which was an added bonus. This resort does a good job making it feel like a tropical escape!

Had a nice stay here. Love the main pool area and tiki bar. Having a place to eat at the hotel is nice as well. When we made reservations we wanted to stay by the main pool, they said we were and we were not. There are multiple small pools so double check that. They got us into the main lodge so it worked out ok, but we would have liked to be by the pool.

Enjoying my stay. Room is nice and facilities are great. Room service excellent, pools are perfect for families. Only negative, went to gift shop and the lady was on the phone and when I checked out she kept on with call and never said a word to me except my cost. I left feeling second class. Verrrrry rude.

We have stayed at the Lodge for many years. I have to agree with Tom C's review. They have put a lot of bandaids on the place. The bathroom in our room was not completely redone - buy should have been. There was NO water pressure and the shower leaked all over the floor. There were many little things that are not being addressed. It's as though someone afar made the plans without ever seeing the property. I think Memorial weekend was our final stay there. We were told to go shopping or whatever and they would call us when we could check in or come back at 4 P.M. We were looking for a nice, relaxing getaway, and even decided to stay an extra day we hadn't planned. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this hotel. Arrived early to check in, after 5 hours of wait time and no help from the front desk, me and my colleges arrived at a simple conclusion. Never visit this property again! You see we travel for a living and have never experienced this kind of confusion. To kill some time we had lunch at Shutters, that is located in the Lodge. Food was marginal at best. Property is old and rooms located in Seasons bay were not cleaned properly. No fridgerator in room. Pools are very small and over crowded. So Disa... Read more

The Lodge of Four Seasons leaves a lot to be desired. I recently stayed with my daughter for a cheer camp. The rooms we stayed in were in the Seasons Bay building. While the hotel boasts about a recent multi million dollar renovation, my assessment is the contractor sold them a bill of goods! I was not in the main lodge rooms but, if ours were any indication, I don't hold out a lot of hope. The rooms were not clean. We never saw someone actually running a vacuum inside any of the rooms. Walked in room to smoke saturated room--opened drape to balcony which looked directly at air conditioning huge unit. Wow called front desk and she assures it is nonsmoking room. I told her cigarette butts on balcony she said that was allowed. Offered to move me next door--which also allows smoking on balcony.

Phil here again, took the Misses to the Lodge for a few days for vacation. They have remodeled this hotel and it's very nice again. Check in was easy and the staff is very friendly. The room was clean and spacious, and the beds and pillows are very comfortable. There are a couple of bars and places to eat, along with a nice pool to enjoy while you are here. Didn't golf on this trip, but I was told they have a couple of good courses. We will be staying here again next time we are at the Lake of t... Read more

Needed a one night stay for business. Had been years ago and thought I would go back. Arrived - could not get even close to the registration area parking - had to park at least a good city block away - wait in line - cannot find my reservation under my name. I had forgotten I plugged my phone in the car on the 3 hour drive - walked back to car, back to registration and waited again in line - still with the confirmation number they still could not find my reservation. Then the first employee fi... Read more

We had heard of the Four Seasons for a long time and it was rated here as the #1 hotel at Lake of the Ozarks. I would say if that's true...find a condo. Clearly the hotel has done some much needed renovation, which is nice. The property is large and right on the lake, which are also nice. The staff was friendly and helpful. Beds were comfortable and the best thing - HUGE flat screen TV's (we did watch the Olympics later in evening). The bathroom reno was very nice. The pool area is very nice an... Read more

This place has lots to do onsite and is very pretty! My only complaint is room quality! We have stayed here 2 times and I do feel like the rooms aren't as nice as they use to be but other than that our experience was great

Wonderful place to enjoy and relax. The price is right! Beautiful views and a pool for everyone to enjoy! We stayed in a room next to the pool, it was nice, clean, had a 50 inch tv, king size bed...couldn't have asked for better location. Definitely suggest you try it.

After reading some of the previous negative reviews I was somewhat worried about booking a room for a weekend trip......but I thought the rooms were great....the staff were extremely helpful....and the public areas were beautiful. The location on the lake provides great views of the lake and the poolside bar did a very nice job. I really have no complaints and would return for future weekend trips.

If you are going to the lake for a convention, you are probably either staying at Tan Tar A or the Lodge. Both are older resorts but "conventional" wisdom has been for years that the Lodge is the nicer of the two. I'm not sure that's true anymore. The website talks about a recent 15 Million dollar renovation, but I'm curious where that money went. It was certainly not in the rooms. Our room was dirty upon check-in. The door was damaged so badly that it would not lock unless you deadbolted ... Read more
