Room was OK for the price but there were some issues. First room I was given had a roach.switched to another room that smelled terribly and the entire first floor had a terrible smell. Finally the third room I tried was good but it was on the second floor and I could hear loud squeaky footsteps from upstairs. Exercise room was smelly and only one machine works and it's very loud. There was a creepy guy just pacing about the hotel every night. He stayed on the stinky first floor. The lobby al... Read more

Room seems smaller then most 2 bed rooms, dead bugs of all kind on the big loud roaring A/C System, unexpectedly quiet which is the only good thing, spider webs with bugs in all corners I mean big webs, shower (no tub) smelled funky before we cleaned it, lack of amenities, customer service is horrible, bed is clearly in sleep able its 4am and I'm tired as can be but can't sleep, think imma try this 5am breakfast down in the little café (this better be good) ,right when you walk I the building y... We needed a room for a night near the airport and for $60 this was a great choice. The room was OK, the free WiFi was great, the breakfast better than other places at this price (more than just a bagel and fake cheese cream). On the downside: the corridors and common areas are in desperate need of a refresh, the bathroom wasn't as spotless as I expected, and while I do not have any issue with this, some guests might not be happy only having a shower cabin, not a full tub. Overall, next time in ... Read more

We checked in and my wife was sanitizing the room as she always does because I am a transplant patient. She opened the refrigerator to spray and clean in there - it was filthy. She called the front desk. They said they would send someone up to clean it. While she waited she pulled back the covers on the bed there were two cockroaches staring at her. She called the front desk and asked to be moved. They did. Every morning there is the same free breakfast with cold biscuits, a juice mahine that do... Read more

The staff greeted us warmly, and checked us in very quickly. When we got up to the room, it was a little small, but it fit our small family of 3 just nicely. We had enough room for our bag and the little one's pack-n-play without having to move everything around. The room and hallways were very clean. We stayed on the 3rd floor, so it was also pretty quiet. On Friday and Saturday night, you could hear kids running up and down the hallway, but that could happen anywhere! The breakfast cove was se... Read more

This hotel had great service and quick check in. I stayed here with a bunch of students on our way to a convention. They have breakfast in the morning that was pretty good. Biscuits and gray were better than the biscuits and gray served at the convention. Sausage was rock hard but over all great experience.

The property and rooms are not being maintained. The carpet and room was not clean. The cord to the telephone was held together with packing tape. There were burn holes in the comforter. The shower head was not attached.

My first impression of this hotel was actually good. The front desk staff was helpful, chatty and personable, so no fault goes to them. I'm not high maintenance or the sort of person who requires pampering, but I have worked in housekeeping at several hotels, and this one really pushed the limits of my "ick" meter. The hallway carpets were stained and in need of vacuuming. Our room was okay, but only if you didn't look too closely. The shower door was moldy, the furnishings were shoddy, the sh... Read more

Stopped here on our vacation to Yellowstone Park for a one night stay. Room was ok but not great. The room was clean and furnishings were fine. Nothing fancy. Carpets in hall on first floor were in need of cleaning but that could have been due to high use for airport passengers. There was no plane noise as far as sleeping. Staff were friendly and did a good job checking us in. Price was fair for what we got. Did not note any problem with bathroom or its cleanliness. There are several places to e... Read more

The point of this hotel is to cater to people flying into and out of the nearby MCI/KCI airport, and it completely succeeds in that goal. This is not the flashiest or most stylish hotel, but it's very good, and the staff are very keen to help out with whatever you need. Also, if you spend the night, you can park there for $5/day (with free parking on the night of your stay as well as the day you pick up), and they have a very reliable shuttle to get you to and from the airport. The hotel sucked even for $65. I got 2 smelly, sagging bed, ceiling, wall and carpet stain, burned holes comforter, shower door hung by wire twist tie filthy rooms. Embarrassed to bring my father here. We had to clean pool before I would let my kids swim. Breakfast was the worst hotel food I've had. My room keys never worked after using once. No I didn't have them near my cell phone. Staff got snippy and gave me dirty looks when I came to desk. Stay away from here.

It was a-okay. I stayed for one night. They were under construction when I stayed there, so it was a bit messy. The room was clean and proper. The staff was especially kind! Took care of everything for me. The pool was closed off due to construction. They were adding a fifth floor. Overall, it was a nice quiet place to stay at. And it was close to Kansas City.

We stayed here because we had an early flight and had to be at the airport by 5:00am We live 3 hours from the airport we thought we should get a good night sleep before our business trip. There was 4 of us in two rooms. The rooms were nice. We caught the shuttle at 4 because the 4:30 was already full. The staff had started putting out the breakfast when we went to catch the shuttle. we all grabbed a to go item and got on the shuttle. the ride was quick and the driver was friendly. When w... My husband stayed at the Sleep Inn at the airport on a trip for a family reunion. The room was meticulously clean, smelled neutral & was very comfortable. It was so comfortable I went back to the room early to rest my back while my husband spent time with his brothers. I was very comfortable & felt safe. The shower in the morning was good. Plenty of hot water & water pressure. My husband was pleasantly surprised by the hot breakfast. The staff were very nice. We would definitely stay in this Inn... Read more

One night stay while attending the 21 pilots concert. Jenn was very receptive and friendly upon checking-in. While out on the pool area she came out and offered to put up a umbrella for shade on a hot day. Room was nice and clean. Would stay again here if needed.

I have stayed at this Sleep Inn many times. I am always struck by how professional and detail oriented the general manager, Jason (who checks me in) is. He is 5 star hotel professional and super nice and accomodating as well. My room as per usual was awesome with nice cold hair on a 100 degree day. The pool looked quite inviting also! The breakfast area is always well stocked and varietal. I highly recommend this hotel. I will be back!

Stayed here so we could leave our car for a week while on vacation. Website says free self parking. Was told when we arrived that the 'free' was only for the night we stay, which is the same for 99% of the other hotels, although they don't advertise it because it's not a big deal. Very few charge for the night you stay with them. By advertising it, I feel they are purposely misleading you to stay there and then throw the additional parking charge on. It's still a better deal than parking at... Read more

A close 8 min drive from the airport. Perfect for a quick sleep before or after you travel. The rooms were average. The free breakfast was good. My biggest complaints were the thin walls and the ac. My room was an oven when I entered it. It took several hours to cool down to where I could sleep comfortably. This made for a restless night.

Room was kind of small, had a decent size pool, but could use a little better cleaning. Room could use a little maintenance. Waffle House, Ruby Tuesday, and Wendy's restaurants located within walking distance of the hotel. Entrance was on north end and then had a corridor had to walk down to get to room. 1 elevator

I'm a flight attendant based in Kansas City and stayed here for two nights when I just got off a trip waiting on my next one to start. They advertise on our crew room bulletin board that they give a really low airline rate, which they do. I appreciated that. However I came out of my two night stay with bites on my arms, elbows, and legs. As much as I enjoyed the other aspects of my stay, I won't be back. Besides the irritation and itching of bug bites, I have to be conscious of my appearanc... Read more

We made our reservations here back in March. We were also led to believe that parking was free for the entire time we are away. No it's $5 a day additional. The shuttle only runs at certain times. We have 6 people. The van only holds 5. We would have to make 2 different shuttle times. Totally misleading. Rude front desk girls trying to blow off the whole situation. We have a very early morning flight and very late arrival time so we've decided to pay the higher price at the airport for parking ... Read more

After a long day on the road, I wanted a motel that was clean, comfortable, quiet, reasonable, and easy to get to. This one filled the need very nicely. Friendly and efficient staff at the desk. Ample parking. Room was a little small but met my requirements. No tub just shower. Breakfast included.

Said the place was renovated yeah maybe 20 years ago. Smelled horrible and dirty. Room was just as bad as I watched them clean my room didn't even bother staying had to check in to a different hotel be chase it was that bad.

This Sleep Inn is pretty much like the rest of them in layout and design. The room was clean, but the furniture, paint, and carpet is starting to show its age.....getting a bit worn. Everything was functional and working in our room, and there was a good WIFI signal. The breakfast room provided a decent selection of items to choose from. The rate we paid seemed reasonable.

My girlfriend and I stayed here twice: at the beginning and end of our 2016 road trip. The hotel is unremarkable but was clean, comfortable, very convenient for the airport and includes everything you need (good ac, mediocre but working wifi, good breakfast, waffle iron, tourist information, free parking, proximity to fast food and probably more if you asked) for a relaxing night before flying. Not sure why they have a pool (it has a wonderful view of the car park) but they do! Some reviews ... Read more
