I arrived just after midnight after flying for over 12 hours. At check in and and there was no reservation on file for me for the night and the hotel was full including most places in the area due to multiple functions. My travel agent checked me in for the day of my arrival. I had 12 hours to wait. Thankfully the main desk reservation agent used his resources to put me in a concierge room for the night with a pull out bed! I cannot tell you how thankful I was for this effort. I stayed wit... Stayed for the Nascar Weekend. Great location for almost everything. Short drive to downtown, the stadiums and the race track. Also right near the shopping and eating in Zona Rosa Town Center. Has a very nice bar and restaurant. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The one negative is the size of the bathrooms. The door almost hits the toilet. Truly one of the smallest bathrooms I have seen in a hotel.

My family and I went to MO for a wedding and stayed at this hotel for two nights. The outside of the hotel was old and outdated. When we went inside to our pleasant surprise it was beautiful. The room was a double queen with fridge, coffee maker and free Wi-Fi. We went to have dinner at the hotel restaurant and it was amazingly delicious, Only thing is that they take forever to bring your food and there was hardly any customers. We booked 2 rooms in May; one handicapped & one standard. Our decision was based on decent reviews and the impression that the hotel was recently remodeled as well as it's proxiemty to the airport with the promise of a 24/7 shuttle every 15 minutes. When we arrived the lobby was clean, we had a small wait but were greeted with a nice staff. We confirmed again we were on schedule to leave the hotel at 3:00 am with the shuttle. The Room I was assigned (Room 122) was a handicap room but looked like a cell when I walked in. The bathroom door won't stay shut, the lock plate on the door was missing screws and loose and the bath towels are 8 feet from the bathtub. One of my traveling partners was assigned to the room and immediately went to the desk and asked for a new room.

The Hilton Kansas City Airport is a comfortable hotel, but has limited amenities. It does have an Airport shuttle that will also shuttle you to a local shopping center that is a typical outdoor mall. Everything about the stay was great... except the noise. I'm assuming the outside noise we listened to all night was the planes landing. This hotel was closer to the hotel than I realized. We attended a wedding on site and had a great stay. The ceremony and reception were set up well and it was so convenient to have everything at one location. Our room was very nice, updated and clean. We enjoyed breakfast in the hotel and the Starbucks in the lobby. The swimming pool is nice, larger than the norm for a hotel.

So we had a very nice room and there is ample free parking. The lounge is nice, even when full of drunk people! There is a handy shuttle to and from the airport. Here's my gripe: they have a Starbucks in the lobby but apparently its brand new to the hotel. Literally it seemed like our first day was theirs as well. They didn't have everything a regular Starbucks has but what they had was properly, if tediously, created. They did not have coffee trays (you know, the carry out ones) so gettin... Read more

Very nice interiors, beds comfy, very clean, staff great. Shuttle driver so helpful and courteous, and efficient. When we stayed it was fully booked and can understand why. We were starting a long vacation and stayed to meet an early morning flight out.

Spent this past Sunday here and was thoroughly impressed. I'm a Hilton member and used 20K points to book a king room on the top floor. Room was spacious and clean and same with the bathroom. Decent view for an airport hotel as well. All staff was helpful especially the ones during the early AM hours when I had questions about printing and gym access. The breakfast buffet was perfect as well. So many different fresh fruits available and made to order omelets. The waiter I had was very friendl... Read more

I was here on business and I been coming here for years. The improvements are wonderful. I will be back next year. The restaurant in the hotel has great food. The service is a bite slow but worth the wait.

We were hesitant about calling the Hilton b/c we assumed that it was a really expensive hotel. It was actually comparable price wise to the other hotels in the area! We were greeted as guests of the day in which we received complimentary room service when we got settled into our room of milk, cookies, fruit, crackers and cheese! Not only that, the hotel had board games awaiting our arrival in our room! The kids were ecstatic! We had a comfy sleep with tons of extra pillows and blankets! Th... Read more

I stay here frequently. As long as you don't mind being a number your good. I had some fun at the bar and all of a sudden I was considered non compliant for having fun and laughing too loud. I was never rude or offensive, but if you laugh too loud your out.

Close to the airport and rental car return! Rooms are spacious, bed was very comfortable and the bathroom large. My only complaint......Coffee. When traveling it's always nice to get that first cup of coffee in the lobby. You know the complimentary kind...the one before you buy a Starbucks. They don't have it....they have a Starbucks. It would have been nice had Starbucks been open.... Hotel was great!

Stayed at the Hilton KCI before heading out for an early morning flight. It is definitely a hotel frequented by business travelers and airline staff (especially Southwest Airlines). We found the room to be well done after the remodel, with the exception of the ceiling, as it appeared to have some water damage and was peeling. And one more thing...don't expect the front desk ladies to be overwhelming friendly...they just want to get you checked in and to your room as fast as possible. Thei... Read more

Stayed 3 nights and have mixed feelings. Hotel is large and very busy, lots of flight crews stay overnight and a lots of meeting attendees. My room (621) was spacious and beautiful, King bed, but the room had a strange odor, kind of like smelly feet, especially at the entry and the desk area. I tried to figure out where the smell was coming from. Carpet, bathroom etc. Called front desk and asked if while I was out the next day could they check the carpets and clean etc. Also the tub drain ... Read more

Very 80's posh, nice. The front desk clerk was super friendly and helpful. Comfortable and clean. My family was disappointed in the "not included breakfast". Of course, there were other full price options to choose from, including a Starbucks.

While the outside of the building is dated, the renovations done to the rooms on the inside were nicely done. I had a room on the 10th floor, 5 rooms down the hall from the elevator area, and it was quiet. Housekeeping was good. We had one small issue, and when it was reported to the front desk it was resolved within 2 hours! Their breakfast is not complementary for all (most likely it is for business travelers with Hilton Honors points status). There is a Starbucks on site as an alternative. ... Read more

This Hilton is very close to the airport. We drove into Kansas city from meetings in Missouri. The hotel is visible from the highway. Service was impeccable. The lobby was lively. the room was quiet and comfortable. Starbucks in the lobby got us off to our very early flight. Will use it for future business travel.

The good: This is exactly what you expect from a Hilton located near the airport. Typical Hilton accessories perfectly executed. The staff was great. I will definitely stay there next time The bad: This hotel allows dogs. I had a Doberman come unhinged on me in the hallway as I exited my room. Scared me to death. As is typical from dog owners, no apology. I complained. The staff moved me to a new room. Still, I believe hotels should tell you there are dogs on your floor. One more thing, th... Read more

The hotel was conveniently located next to the airport. The hotel offered park and fly with free shuttle service to and from the airport which I took advantage of was cheaper then parking at the airport. The hotel rooms were quiet which made for good sleeping. The Hotel served a great breakfast bar well worth the money.

The check-in staff was friendly, but it was disappointing only double beds were available due to a wedding in the hotel. However, the beds are comfortable & the room was clean. It was also disappointing that bathroom amenities don't include body wash...only shampoo & conditioner. We were only in the room for a short period of time between clubbing & the football game, so the room was great for a re-charge.

Every trip we take... The Hilton is our first stop. They make travel so easy!! Spend the night, get up in the a.m. and they deliver us right to the door of our airline. We never worry about our car and when we return they are one phone call away. Thanks for making travel easy and fun! No wondering where we parked or how to get to it! The Hilton will give you a great nights sleep and peace of mind.

I had the pleasure of spending 5 days in Kansas City, MO and stayed at the Hilton Kansas City Airport. I liked being very close to the airport and only 3 miles away from shopping at Zona Rosa(the hotel shuttle will take you there). We took a trip to KC to visit Legoland for my son's birthday. This hotel was easy to find and easy to get to. We arrived on a Friday night around 630. It was November so too cold for the outside pool. The inside pool was heated, but one of the windows in the pool area did not shut all the way so it was freezing in there. There also is not a shallow end in the indoor pool, the most shallow is 4.5 feet. My 2 boys could not touch the bottom so it wasn't as much fun swimming. The room was nice, alt... Read more

My boyfriend and I decided to take a short vacation to the Kansas City area in mid-November to unwind after a busy October. I found a Groupon deal for a winery tour/tasting in Platte City, and so I selected this Hilton property based on its proximity to both the route back to Omaha and the vineyard we were going to. Finding the place and getting in was a breeze. I'm not sure if the parking lot is sufficient during times when the convention center is in full use, but there was plenty of space dur... Read more

I was on a business trip and stayed in downtown K.C. but moved out to this hotel on my last night's stay because I had a 6:00 a.m. departure from MCI. Check-in was easy and the front desk clerk was pleasant. I requested a quiet room and was given a nice, end-of-the-hall room, away from parking lots and traffic. There were a couple of groups staying there, making use of the dining and bar areas, and all seemed to be enjoying the amenities. I did not make use of any hotel services because I wa... Read more
