if you stay on the North side of the building be prepared to be up all night with loud music because of the bar located next to the property. I do not recommend this hotel if you have little ones. Nobody was at the front desk when I came to check in and I had to wait 20 minutes before I was greeted to even get my room. I also found dirty clothes in the closet of my room from a previous guest.

My family and I stayed overnight at this hotel and the downfall for us were the beds. From driving 12 hours to reach this hotel, all we wanted was a good night sleep. Unfortunately, that did not happen. The beds are very UNCOMFORTABLE. Which left us tossing and turning all night, that cause everyone to have backaches the next morning. We left the next morning in pain at 6 am. It is definitely time for this hotel to change out their old, thin and broken-down mattress.

Just a one night stay so didn't get to check out any of the amenities. Room was clean which is most important. Breakfast buffet was good as it did have eggs & bacon along with the usual breakfast items Hampton typically offers.

Sheila at the front desk was very friendly, helpful and courteous. She made our stay at this hotel very welcoming. Breakfast was very good. The room was very nice and clean. Beds were comfortable. There was also another employee at the front desk at night who was also very friendly and helpful but we didn't get her name.

This is an eminently average Hampton Inn. On the plus side, cleanliness and service are up to the usual Hampton Inn standards. The rate also is good, especially compared to comparable downtown Kansas City properties. On the negative side, the location is meh, unless you happen to want to be near a large amusement park. Otherwise, there's little of interest nearby except some retail and a good bit of light industrial and warehousing. It is fairly convenient to get back on interstates.

The hotel was very nice, clean inside and outside. The breakfast was amazing, so many choices, hard to decide what I wanted to eat. The staff was wonderful, very accommodating. My husband was complaining about a light, but I don't think he had the drapes closed properly.

Went for a Royals game - location was good, breakfast was good, room was clean. Only concern I had was upon check in, the front desk was having troubles making our room key, so had to check the room (physically) to make sure no one was in there. I think that may have jaded my stay a little. However, I'm picky and would consider staying here again if we were in the area.

We booked well in advance but had to cancel 1 room. I made sure when I did cancel to make sure our other wheelchair accessible room was still going to be available. After driving for 9 hours we got to the hotel and were given a regular room. The front desk then told us there were no accessible rooms left. Great hotel, clean and fairly good price. We all want things to be cheaper. The price was higher due to the concert and weekend, which I still think $180 is little high for a one night stay. Think $125 would be a perfect price. But the rooms were nice and clean and comfy.

Convenient location near family entertainment while it satisfied the basic hotel basic requirements with a good value for the cost, since breakfast was included. Compared price with Holiday Inn nearby and it was less expensive. However, Hampton Inn cost roughly 30% more, but the property is more updated so to me it is worthy of the hire rate.
