The staff and services at this Hotel were excellent. The breakfast bar included numerous choices, as well as a made-to-order Omlette station (the best chefs) We were very pleasantly surprised to see that the guests are treated every night to a complementary evening reception. Paula Terry, the Guest Service Manager and Jade provided us with very helpful advice and enhanced our Kansas City experience a great deal. We have stayed at a few hotels near the airport and this so far is our favorite. Great service and I felt comfortable leaving my car parked there for 2 weeks during our trip. The nightly free happy hour is a plus! We will return soon!

The bed was great and a nice suite. And breakfast was very nice with an omelette chef. The onsite restaurant was just ok, this is the only reason for not giving this a 5 star. The Cobb salad was just ok and the half rack of ribs was not tender enough. We would stay here again, but it was a bit difficult to get to with interstate closures nearby. BUT it was a good location for our travels north.

Right now there is construction in the parking lot. It's a minor inconvenience but not a huge deal. Airport shuttle service is not currently running so make sure to ask about that if you had planned to park and shuttle over. Front desk staff was very nice and helpful. The smell inside the building is a little off-putting. I think its from the water features in the lobby area. Our room was on the 2nd floor and I thought our room had a similar smell albeit very clean. It looked like a mi... Read more

Over all my years of saying with Hilton hotels, this was my first experience staying at an Embassy Suites. I was somewhat disappointed. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast buffet was great. Being so close to the airport and 20 minutes from downtown KC was very convenient. Aside from that, everything went downhill. The hotel is in major need of an upgrade. Rooms were old, and the TV was outdated. I seriously thought that I was staying at a Super 8. The gym was one of the smalles... Read more

While the location is perfect for someone with an early morning flight out of KCI, the rooms are a bit "tired" and in need of an update. The evening reception (5:30-7:30) was one of the best I've seen with complimentary wine/beer and yummy snacks. The business office is spacious with hood technology - easy to print your boarding pass. Yes - I would stay there again for an early flight out.

Be aware this hotel has smoking rooms. You need to reserve a room that doesn't share a wall, floor, or ceiling with the smoking rooms or deal with the smell. Also, management doesn't care if the conference rooms are rented to a loud party and it is 11:00 pm. They let the loud music go and you have to deal with it in your room. I cannot believe a conference room in a hotel doesn't have a noise policy after 10:00 pm or some other way to mitigate the bass that rattled my bed.

We only stayed here one night, but were impressed with the service and cleanliness of the room and public areas. We didn't use the fitness center or pool so can't comment on that. The front desk was very attentive, calling to make sure we were happy with our room and when checking out we were warmly greeted and sent on our way. The only 2 things we could see they need to improve would be the decor in the rooms (a little dated) and the lighting in the bathroom shower area was a too dim. The d... Read more

I love staying at the Embassy Suites because of the two-room suite, the breakfast and the manager's reception. I stayed 11 days at the Kansas City Airport Embassy Suites, and we only had to go out to eat 3 times--and that was because I wanted to sample the local food. The breakfasts are wonderful, and can fill you for the day. There was fruit often at the Manager's Reception, which I was happy to have as a dinner. This really is a good value for a hotel.

I stay at Embassy Suites hotels often, as I like the brand and the amenities (nightly manager's reception and full breakfast). This one exceeded my expectations. My wife and I had dinner at the restaurant, and it was outstanding. The public spaces were well-appointed and clean. Our room was also. I particularly liked the art work throughout (black and white photos of Kansas City architecture).

The front desk refused to honor the rate provided during the pre-booking reservation by phone. When presented, the front desk attendant showed a lack of concern. The premium floor refreshments were not in our room at check in, but were delivered after contacting the front desk.

I had pets in the room and after checkout I received a call saying damage had been done. First it was the entire room front and back and then it was just the front. The lady could not make up her mind on what the damage was. It was first feces then urine and then the fact that my cats were not declawed. They then proceeded to charge my card without further authorization. I would not recommend this hotel to a homeless person as the room smelt like mildew upon our arrival. I still have no definiti... Friendly staff, excellent complimentary breakfast, nice suites. We were in one of the banquet rooms. Dinner served at our event was excellent. We had a case bar and the bartender, she was very friendly. The wait staff that served our dinner was great too..

The KC Embassy Suites was very clean and the staff were always helpful when needed. I would definitely stay at this location again next time I'm in the Kansas City area. I enjoyed the evening reception and their free breakfast is phenominal. I love the suite rooms as their is tons of space and the rooms themselves were very clean.

Coming in off a late night flight we stayed at this Embassy Suites mainly because I am platinum on Hilton Honors and it saves $25 on breakfast The check in staff did a good job The rooms were clean The hotel was not full so it was easy to get through breakfast the next day quickly If I had one thing to complain about during my stay at this hotel it would be that breakfast ended at 9 o'clock sharp according to staff. We got there at 8:45am and they were already tearing down The cook did fix om... Read more

I am currently staying in this hotel on the eighth floor. From the moment I checked in, I have been treated like I'm some criminal. I have been enjoying a birthday road trip starting with a flight to Kansas City, MO. We traveled Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, Colorado, Nebraska, Iowa and now we are back here in Kansas City at the Embassy Suites airport location. When I arrive to check in "Amanda" had me sign something -- I'm not sure what that was about. Once i mentioned that I had t... Read more

I usually stay at a Hilton Hotel. This hotel was good. It is outdated. The staff was helpful and very nice. Room staff did a good job. The breakfast was good except the dry, dry pastries. The business center is large and well stocked. The hotel is very clean.

We and many other family members stayed at this location over the weekend for a family wedding. Chris at the evening reception was so helpful, getting some milk for my granddaughter. The convenience of people coming down for breakfast when they were ready was very nice, and the employee making the breakfast omelets was cheerful; a great way to start the day w/ a pleasant hello.

This is an older Embassy Suites but it is clean. The entire staff is top notch. We used the courtesy shuttle to go back and forth to plaza restaurants, Jeffrey was our driver and he is a super nice guy. Sam at the front desk was very helpful in arranging private transportation to Arrowhead on game day. Breakfast and happy hour were both fine, just be aware of breakfast hours because they are different on weekdays/weekends. The staff checked with us all through our stay to see if we had any reque... Stayed for a conference. Nice hotel, comfy beds...my suite was near the elevator but really once I went into the bedroom I could hear anything. The fountain in the lobby is really cool, but a little loud for my taste. Breakfast was excellent, just need to kearn how to keep grits from getting lumpy. Manager's reception each evening was excellent.

We booked here to stay at after a Chiefs game. The morning i was going to stay i got a personalized confirmation text! Anything you needed you could text. They even suprised my gf with a complementry birthday gift they had waiting for her. Nothing crazy but the thought of everything and doing it was real cool. Their giftshop never opened the entire time i was there which i thought was odd. The front desk however would get you what ever you needed. You could even just shoot them a text. The pool ... Checked in twice over an eight day period. Both times no luggage carts available and no offer of any assistance. Staff watched as we struggled with bags and babies. Coffee pot in room did not work. Credit card was billed $40.00 more than total on receipt. Four days later, I'm still waiting on a call back.

I recently stayed at this property using my Hilton Honors points. The hotel had an odor when we walked in and the room did as well, a mix of smoke and staleness. The room had been cleaned but it was obvious it needed to be "updated", the vents were rusted and dirty, the refrigerator was missing the temperature knob and the furniture had stains.

This is a very nice Embassy Suites located near the KC International Airport, but not too close. It is right off I-29 which makes it easy to get to most any where in the Kansas City, MO area. The staff was very friendly and accomodating! The suite were clean and modern! We liked that the bedroom actually was separate from the living area with an actual bedroom door. I would probably rate this property as a 3.5 if it was an option. But I'll round up since there isn't a choice for half ratings. My wife and I have stayed at numerous Hilton/Embassy properties and have enjoyed most of them. The staff here is on par with most of the properties we've stayed at. The property itself is decent and shows signs of upgrades in the public areas. Unfortunately the rooms (at least the one we stayed in) are most definitely dated. Dated rooms don't always mean a bad experi... Read more

If I was rating this hotel only on the property itself I'd give it 3 stars. It's an older property that they've done a very good keeping up but it's showing it's age. Everything was clean and worked properly, they have a nice work out facility, the atrium is ok, the free drinks at happy hour are nice as is the free breakfast, but you can't get away from it being a little tired. However as many others have said here, the staff is fantastic! Wow everyone was friendly and helpful! That makes a big ... Read more

We only spent a few hours here after a late flight. The hotel is a beautiful building that is aging. Small details could make a different impression. The flowers on each floor of the atrium either need cleaning or replacing. They looked dull from either dust or fading. The water in one fountain was yellow - not sure if it should be that color. Otherwise, it was a very convenient location that was close to the airport!

Very disappointing upon arrival. The hotel is dirty and dated. Evening reception was served with dirty glasses and unsanitary practices with the food. The floors were sticky and too. We will never return to this hotel and may never stay in another Hilton property. Even making the reservation was difficult and I had to deal with off shore staff who didn't seem trained and didn't speak English well enough to understand my request. This is a beautiful hotel with a lovely staff. They made us feel very welcome. They provided a shuttle service within 2 miles of the hotel for shopping and even took us to Chuck E Cheese for the kids. Hopefully they turn up the heater in the salt water pool but the hot tub was delightful.
