Poor service, food and overall experience was disappointing. The food came out warm at best, and we sat at the table for 45 min. with no server, nor menus. We again waited for our food that came out warm at best. Overall the time at the restaurant was over two in a half hours and that was unacceptable.

While the occasion of our travel marked the funeral for my mother, the Doubletree Hotel in Jefferson City, Missouri eased our hearts and minds with their 'can do' attitudes and promptness of response to any of our requests. Britney F. was incredible! We had more guests than we imagined show up to the hotel and Britney and management made a space for us, brought ice, cups, etc and made us so comfortable so we could mingle with family and friends. We just came back from a trip to Jefferson City and had outstanding service at the DoubleTree Inn. Staff was incredibly lovely and helpful - from the desk clerk to the waitstaff at breakfast. We left a bag in the closet in our room and the staff handled it beautifully - so lovely and helpful in every way! We had a great time and it is very close to the Katy Trail, a must when you are in this neck of the woods.

Rooms are pie shaped due to the round building. Extremely tiny double beds - not suited for 2 people. Furniture is too large for the tiny room. Hallways are claustrophobic - a little scary as you couldn't see down the hallway as it kept curving.

Front desk person was quite adequate. Rooms were clean. Beds were comfortable. The price was reasonable: $89.00. Restaurant on the 11th floor was a little expensive but convenient. The food was very mediocre--nothing wrong but not tasty either. However, we just ate breakfast there. The Air Conditioner motor was LOUD, Did I say LOUD? The worst Hilton I have ever stayed at and when we complained the manager was defensive and rude. One of our party had to move rooms it was so unclean. Other rooms all had issues with cleanliness at some level. Breakfast was terrible with virtually no choice and food items were mouldy and when shown to the server not a single word of apology. A disappointing stay in an underwhelming hotel. I had to move room after checking in after midnight as the toilet was broken, something that must have been apparent to the chamber maid and yet not reported and so the under standard room was still given to me. Bathrooms are tired, but functional - not what you would expect of the brand. Manager was complacent and seemed surprised, and yet across our party there was a theme of poor service (mouldy food, lack of cleanliness in the rooms etc) Truly ... Read more

The double beds are VERY soft and small so if you go as a couple or need a hard bed you better get a king. Also they usually have cookies something my husband and sons look forward to we were told upon checking in the they just ran out and would have them in a few minutes however two hours later they said they were still out. Not to deal breaker however the review requires at least 200 words to post and it is important that you know how terrible the double beds are.
