We chose this hotel for the early shuttle service as our flight left at 6:00 a.m. and was the earliest sleep, park, fly shuttle we could find. The hotel and room was fine for the price. Clean, large and refrigerator. (I don't understand people who pay for a 3 star hotel and want a 5 star experience.) There was a bar a block or so down the street to have a drink and eat a bite. The staff was super nice. When we checked in around 6:30 p.m. the early morning shuttle was already full! They called ... Read more

This hotel is FILTHY from door to door! The room we stayed in was unbelievably FILTHY with toilet paper on the bathroom floor and candy wrappers on the carpet near the beds. Lynne carpet in the hall is extremely stained

I booked an airport hotel on a 3rd party site and ended up here. It's not too bad from the outside and the lobby was clean but small. There are signs in the parking lot saying to lock your car and remove all of your valuables. When I walked into my room it was freezing. The A/C was on full blast. I actually had to run the heat for a while to tone it down. There was a king bed with an old, soft, lumpy mattress (which I didn't mind). Pillows and linens were ok as were the towels. The TV was large... Read more

As soon as we walked in, I didn't get a good first impression, but it is reasonably priced. My husband, six month old, and myself preceded to the elevator to get to our room on the second floor. It REEKED of marijuana. We shrugged it off. As soon as we got out of the elevator two women were standing in the hall talking about how their room smelled of smoke, again shrugged it off. A couple hours later my husband ran downstairs, and the marijuana was ridiculous!! He literally had the door open lon... Read more

After a 550 mile drive this La Quinta offered a needed nights sleep. Some of the lamps had burnt bulbs. Took a while to get a replacement. This La Quinta was in an area where people were on the nearby streets making a lot of noise. All in all not up to La Quinta's usual standards.

We stayed in two La Quinta Inns in the past six months, and I used to think they were reasonably good places to stay, but they seem to be declining, heading towards low-end budget amenities at mid-range prices. The building was shabby, the mattress was clearly old with a noticeable dip in the middle. The shower faucet leaked. The toaster (at breakfast) was broken and there seemed to be no effort being made to fix it. The location was less than ideal; supposedly this is an airport hotel, but n... Read more

This particular La Quinta was filthy! The first thing that we noticed was the smell, it smelled like an ashtray. The carpet looked as though a vacuum had never touched it. It was obvious that no cleaning was being done. Our room was filthy as well. Found hair under the sheets, which tells me they were not changed. That was the last straw. We immediately asked for a refund and left. I am very disappointed, La Quinta was chosen because of the positive experiences I had in the past. Regardless of h... Read more

This place is a dump. May no pass my next drug test at work due to 2nd hand Pot from walking down the hallway on the 2nd floor. Also (I am sure one of the smokers) asked me if I wanted a BJ for $20 while I was walking to my room after getting dinner late. room smelled funny as well. My guess is this will be a days inn or red roof inn pretty soon. LQ standards have dropped but didn't realize this low Thankfully I got a good deal at HotelHornet.com ($65)

The stay started out rough. The first room they put us in was still dirty, had not yet been cleaned. The second room was clean but had no shower curtain and was short on towels. The bed had a sag spot in the middle; the AC unit was somewhat on the noisy side. The wash basin had the water lines reversed and the stopper did not work properly and the bathroom door was hard to close. We only stayed here to meet our daughter, who has dogs and this is a pet friendly hotel

The bed was good which is important to us but the plumbing needs some updating. The toilet was hard to flush and the faucet in the vanity was barely operational. Breakfast wasn't much to speak of but for the price, all was ok. Probably won't stay here again, however.

You get what you pay for. Stayed three nights, only one of those nights were toiletries placed in the room. They had Wi-Fi but it never worked in our room. The only place it worked was in the laundry room or in the lobby. You could connect to it but not do anything once you connected. Very frustrating! Front desk didn't seem very concerned at all. The parking lot was way too small. I think the employees used the same parking lot. On the last night, I had to park across the street at the... Read more

This was the WORST Hotel that I have ever stayed in. The room entire Hotel was filthy, my room was a health hazard. The shower had not been cleaned from the previous guest, the room smelled of mold, and mildew, the carpet was filthy, it appeared as the hand towel was also left from previous guest, there was no parking on lot. We had been to st Louis especially for the gateway arch for a 2 day weekend. Our plan was to visit the gateway arch in the afternoon , stay there overnight and leave for the Meramec caverns the other day and then straight home. Our purpose of the trip was just to have some place for a night to rest . We were a family of 4 , me , my spouse and my parents . The bed was not spacious even for a person who doesn't need much space to lie around. The breakfast was fair. The location was good enough if yo... Read more

I am usually quite satisfied with this Laquinta in the past but this time Room 202 smelled of smoking. This was supposed to be a non-smoking room. Very disappointed that this room had a smoke smell. We will use another place to stay when we are in the Saint Louis area. Other than the smell everything else was acceptable.

This La Quinta was simply not up to the standards that I am accustomed to from LaQuinta. The parking lot needed repairs.the room needed much work. I shoose LaQunita because the rooms normally have a recliner to help my bad back. This room had a worn out uncomfortably chair instead of the recliner. The carpet in the room was dirty and work. There was not even any regular coffee in the room. This was probably the worst La Quinta that I've ever stayed in.

We used the location as a park and fly option for the airport in STL. Price was good and staff was very nice and helpful, the property on the other hand could use some improvement. It appears dated and somewhat dirty. The carpet was probably the worse item we encountered. Some items inside the hotel could use a little more "love and upkeep". We had a non-smoking room but it still smelled of smoke.

Room was a little over $80 even with a discount so we expected a "nice" stay. We first requested a smoking room, but the odor was overwhelming and front desk was happy to switch rooms for us. In the second room the carpet was curled in places and quite dirty. Found crayons, playing cards, other random items left under the bed so not sure how well it had even been cleaned. Had to walk past the laundry room with the door open and a fan blowing a strong smell of bleach down the hall. When we went o... Read more

I bit on the Priceline hook for a great discount for a three star place. I got La Quinta in Hazelwood, MO. If you agree on a rate understanding this is hardly even a two-star place, you're okay. I wanted three star, and I got gyped. Everything is old and worn. Business center has one computer, and it is broken. My room had such bad stains in the carpet near the refrigerator that they were sticky on the bottom of my shoes. Bed was okay. Everything else was worn out. Front desk staff was v... Read more

Heed my warning.... do NOT stay here. Absolutely disgusting. Smells like chain smokers live in that place. Smoke detectors unhooked, sprinklers hanging off walls, maids eating hot pockets while cleaning rooms! And when asked why my husband and I are leaving, we explained everything to her, then the service chick lit a cigarette outside. No remorse, no apologies, nothing! We were in there no longer than 20 minutes!
