Over all it's not terrible. It is a tad out of date. There is only 25 channels and they block channels during certain events or games to force you to the bar. No fridge was my biggest issue with being there for an extended period of time. There was an option to rent a fridge but that gets pricey. Rooms were clean and staff was overall friendly. The beds....well let's just say they are softer than the floor. I know that this isn't a place I would stay with my family, but if your options are limit... Read more

WE always book here when coming to Farmington to visit relatives, we enjoy the staff very much and the fact they have a restaurant connecting to hotel. The ground our lovely and a nice swimming pool for summer months. Very close to all stores and eating places..right off of 67!

It is a dated hotel. The staff was super nice. The breakfast was great, but get in early. The room was smelly, musty and dreary. Being by the back door I felt a bit uneasy knowing any one could walk through the back door. I felt a key swipe would have made me feel a bit at ease. At no point could I ever get wi fi in my room. At one point had to stand in the middle of the hall just to be able to use my Skype to call home. I live in Australia. I did ask for a fridge because of meds that needed to ... Read more

I have stayed here several times when you could still get a good rate of only $79, and that's through the internet. It seems to have increased lately to about the same price as the nearby HI and Hampton Inn. Truly it is not worth the increase. They still have old huge TVs with horrible picture quality, dark rooms and still charge the $150 deposit for a room, which they remove after you have checked out and your room is not trashed. I was told it's in case people smoke in their rooms. You co... Read more

Stayed at this property back in Feb for $50 a night, good value at that price. Fast forward to March 13th rooms up $30 to $79 a night plus tax, The property manager seems to think March is summer, Not worth $80 a night, tile floors no gym or pool inside, Help are all smokers, Towels are thread bare, not worth a second look

I don't even know exactly what to say. This place was amazing. Yes it was a little dated but the staff was so friendly and helpful the rooms were nice and the pool was amazing. The hotel was right off the highway and very easy to get to local stores and restaurants. It was well worth the price. Would definitely stay here again.

The motel was fully booked. But, we got checked it really quickly. The lounge is awesome and complimentary breakfast the next morning was a nice surprise (I didn't know they offered one since the price was so cheap!)

I paid just under $55.00 on Trip Advisor. Especially after reading some of the negative reviews I was tempted to pay more than double to stay at the Holiday Inn but I decided to give Tradition a shot anyway. It is true that it is a dated property and that the 'flat screen' TV in the room was probably cutting edge technology back in 1990 but the room was clean and comfortable. The bed was not as hard as I expected based on one of the ratings that I read. However, I like a soft feather pillow ... Read more

When I needed to stay two nights in the Mineral Area for a funeral, I just needed a bed. Not having much money, I needed to find something inexpensive, and having worked in hotels, I know 'cheap' usually means awful. I was scared, but figured if it was connected to Spokes, it can't be that bad. I was floored. The reviews I've seen are pretty accurate. This is the perfect place to stay if you want to save a buck. The staff was knowledgeable and polite, and while the hallway carpets are wor... Read more

* Read Nickolas H's Review* - My review is almost identical to his! I also needed a place to stay for my entire family of 12 for 2 nights. We booked three rooms which were decent. I don't want to spend a lot of time with this review, but the rooms were OK, however they had a bad odor to them. Everything appeared to be clean and well kept, except the carpets which are soiled and the rooms smelled musty and of old cigarettes. The Hotel would be an excellent place for meetings or banquets, as the... Read more

Who doesn't bring a phone charger these days? You'll have to move furniture to plug it in. Staff had TV plugged into the outlet that was switched by the light switch at the door, so you either had to watch TV with the lights on or move the behemoth entertainment center away from the wall to plug the TV into the other outlet. Hotel is not ADA compliant, there is no elevator and the public laundry facilities and game room are up stairs. I am disabled and noted on my reservation that I would lik... Read more

I checked into Tradition Inn because the other places I normally stay were booked and I was not willing to travel any further to find a room. I was checked in very quickly and professionally. The room price seemed low so did not expect much when I got to the room. When I got there I was pleasantly surprised. The room was bright and clean as was the bathroom. The bed was also very comfortable. The motel is a little over a mile from downtown and is a pleasant walk. If watching a flat sc... Read more

Nice hot breakfast. Hotel isn't new, but was clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Spokes Restaurant on property. Vending machine were full and operated well. Front and back door to the room gave a nice place for family from different rooms to congregate.

Staff in the lobby were nice. The hotel room smelled moldy. I had stuffy nose in the morning from this. We only stayed for the night so canĀ“t comment about the area. We stopped at a Walmart though before proceeding to the hotel. The walmart was about 15 minutes away. Breakfast is offered and is the same elsewhere.
