This is a great hotel to stay in. I always stay at this location when I am passing through St. Louis. It's very easy to get off the highway and pull into the entrance of the hotel. Inside, the rooms are very comfortable. The only downside is that the rooms do not offer a refrigerator.

I was here for a dog show and they put me in their "annex". The property is lovely, even the annex is very nice. For dog people. there is plenty of grass, very clean, with clean up stations. The room was very nice, very comfortable, and the staff is quite attentive. My lone complaint, and it's a minor one, is that the rooms do not have refrigerators. However the refrigerators are available for $5 day extra. When I called from the show venue to request a refrigerator, it was no problem. Upon arri... Read more

unless you have a pet, do not book an outside building room. Those rooms are 60 dollar a night rooms at best. Major difference in quality, same price. Dine elsewhere, food not worth the price. Loved the convenience to six flags though.

Came here for spring break from alabama, gulf coast rained out. was hard sell to family, teenagers agreed because of six flags. Pictures on internet great and accurate. Pool is HUGE. Maintenance crew cleaning everyday. Kids and early teens paradise. every kid i saw had smile on face. Restaurant was great. Staff courteous. I made mistake making reservation. on site it said "exterior room", I thought that meant on exterior of building. It really meant there are two other buildings SEPARATE from th... Read more

Many rooms have easy access to cars & vans so it is a natural for visitors attending events at Purina Farms. The staff are friendly, efficient and accommodating. The breakfast was excellent every day and the wait staff were first rate This is a well maintained, older hotel that has clean & comfortable accomidations

Rooms were clean and very quiet. We had a 3rd floor room with door to the outside that made accessing our vehicle on the upper parking lot very convenient. Rooms were nothing special and the air conditioning unit was somewhat noisy. We did have a discounted rate as it was booked through a block of rooms reserved for the wedding party and guests. There was a very large indoor swimming pool. There is a restaurant on premise and there is seating on an indoor patio outside the restaurant and al... Read more

This is my favorite hotel in this area, and I have stayed here at least 30 times since I was a child. Now I bring my daughter here. I always try to to get a room facing the pool. Very courteous staff this trip. The lady who checked us in let us check in 2 hours early, Room 335 on the 3rd floor was clean. Water pressure in the shower was great and they give you shampoo and conditioner from bath and body works. Had a great supper at the Haymarket restaurant. Overall a fantastic stay, and I'... Wi fi is weak but the ruins are comfortable, clean, and spacious. The pool is warm and the walls are thick enough to let you sleep. Ground floor entry on the third floor is cool because it is built into a hill. Shuttle service to the park makes it great for not having to drive or park.

This is a really good place to stay if going to Six Flags St. Louis. It's a good place for families. Has a large in-door pool areas and activities for kids. Rooms that open into the in-door pool area. Hotel offers rides to and from St. Flags. Savings of $20.00 so you do not have to pay to park at Six Flags. The hotel is older, but well maintained. Bulit around a 100 year old brick barn. So it has some history. Staff very friendy.

Don't let the prices they charge fool you. This is not a $200+/night hotel. You are purely paying for convenient access to Six Flags. The lobby is beautiful (only place they spend money on updates) but this hotel at best is worth $49.99/night. Just last week we stayed in a nicer Super 8 in the middle of nowhere western Kansas that was much much nicer and only $59.99. Holiday Inn put us in their "annex building" which is a separate building located behind the main building with only exterior acce... Read more

The rooms could use some updating....dark, dreary and doesn't look "clean". The pool area is nice, good seating and arcade to keep kids busy. We've had birthday parties here and it works out nice for the kids and family / friends that want to stay overnight.

It was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the restaurant in the hotel. The pool area was fun, it was nice that it was indoors. The hot tub was big and nice and hot. It was conveniently located near six flags. Just across the street actually. The hotel offered us to stay parked at the hotel and take a shuttle across to the park. That was nice, so we could save on parking fees at six flags. We would stay again.

We paid for a family suite (unattached building) it was 374.00 for one night, one king bed and two queen beds. It was definitely not worth the price. It's old and out dated and nothing special. After paying what we did, we could have stayed downtown STL for the same or less. The ceiling in our room was leaking and it was disappointing for the amount that we spent. We were having my daughters 9th birthday and surprising her with a visit from her grandma and grandpa she hadn't seen in 8 years. It... Read more

Love! Love! Staying here the staff is amazing! I travel constantly and I try to stay at the Holiday Inn at Six Flags not because of six flags but the people that work there. They care and want to make you at home the restaurant is awesome and never fails to impress. Micheal the manager rocks! Nancy at the bar rules and Shandi, Alex, Tara, Marissa and Jacob made my stay awesome!

Last year, we took all the kids and had two rooms next to each other for two nights. We really enjoyed the hotel, pool, restaurant and convenience. The plus is the shuttle to Six Flags that runs every 15 minutes from open to close of the park. This year, we were able to get the same two rooms. First day was stormy so we enjoyed the hotel and pool. Kids eat free!!! So you can eat breakfast, then catch the shuttle to six flags enjoy a few hours, take the shuttle back to the hotel and the kid... Read more

The hotel staff is very friendly. The rooms are in desperate need of updating. The rooms were clean and the housekeeping staff was great. The location is good if you are coming to go to Six Flags. The hotel restaurant is okay, we wouldn't choose to eat there again. We would stay at the hotel again if we wanted to go to Six Flags.

We arrived ar 1 and asked if the room was ready, even then it was ready at 4:30. What made it worse was it was small family reunion and all of our rooms were in the same hallway. But some rooms were ready by 2:30??? Then our group ate at the restaurant, but we didn't get our food for over an hour and a half. Nothing was offered, but when we complained they comped us breakfast and took the drinks off our bill. Rooms were ok.

I stayed at the Holiday Inn Six Flags with 3 other adults the night before going to the park. It was super convenient and even though the shuttle broke down temporarily they gave us money so we could park free anyway. The staff was very friendly. That being said, unless I??m bringing kids I probably wouldn??t stay here again. The beds were extremely uncomfortable and the room was musty; the hotel could use a serious update. We make a trip to Six Flags most years with my husbands work. This was our first stay at this particular Holiday Inn. Our original room was pretty nice. However shortly after checking in (11:30 pm and very tired), I used the restroom and flushed (liquid only!), the toilet overflowed all over the bathroom (LOTS of water). I placed all of our towels in the floor & called the desk. A few minutes later a security guard knocked, and with out a word... handed me a plunger and walked away. Being a resp... Read more

We had a great time here! From the courteous front desk staff to the friendly shuttle driver, polite housekeepers & great wait staff, we had a relaxing time. Our room was exceptionally clean, as I noted all the public common ares we used during our stay. If you don't have a season pass to Six Flags, it's quite expensive to eat there. You ride the air conditioned shuttle bus, enjoy the park, ride back to the hotel and either eat there or go to a local restaurant, change clothes( if you are goi... Read more

Our room was clean and comfortable . The inside pool area with a restaurant and video games was a lot of . We even played some shuffleboard ??. It was a great hotel and we would stay there again because the shuttle to sixflags saves us so much time and hassle of parking . Not to mention the great bus driver !! She is sweet and friendly .. I have been here twice and the rooms out away from the main building are great when you have a fur baby. Very convenient to grass. We had a banquet there and the food and service was good. Was disappointed when you pay for s glass of wine and it's a tiny bottle. The following night they found real bottles. Would stay again.

Whatever corporation owns this hotel should be ashamed for keeping this hotel open as it is. It is SO worn out. The location to Six Flags is ideal, but that's the ONLY good thing about this place. I would rather drive several miles to avoid this Holiday Inn than stay here ever again. Everything in our room was dated, worn out & musty. There wasn't a refrigerator or microwave. Tiny bathroom. Don't waste your money on this hotel.

A large rambling hotel that is on the doorstep of Six Flags. The best thing about this hotel is the staff who we found without exception to be friendly and helpful. The rooms are somewhat out of date and the restaurant closed due to a fire. There was no fridge in the room but one was delivered within minutes of our request. There is a large pool area, a hang over from the Holidome Era, plenty of games and a bar area. There was a large selection of pillows but they all seemed to be the same poor ... Read more

Very convenient place to stay as far as going to six flags. However, very pricey for such an outdated hotel. The hot tub was absolutely discussing, ice machines were constantly out of ice. This is a tired old Holidome style hotel that is not very conducive to business travelers. Families may overlook the details so they can enjoy the pool. The front entrance has 2 double doors, neither of which have power openers, forcing anyone with luggage to struggle through - feel sorry for the elderly with big suitcases. Front desk Mary W was exceptional - efficient yet very friendly, the best thing about this hotel. The double queen room had NO desk or desk chair, just a round table with... Read more

Stayed here for a dog event being held at Purina Farms. It's nice they put all the dog people together with a lot of potty areas for the dogs. The rooms are somewhat dated, the carpet in our room was in need of a shampoo or replacement. Pillows and bedding were awesome. Mattress so-so. For the price a frig would have been nice and they were available for an extra charge. No complimentary breakfast either but they do offer room service and have a restaurant on site.

Really great staff but hotel needs updating. Really looked old and worn. Hotel smelled musty or like dog. Kitchen wasn't working because of water damage caused by a fire on another nearby property. There are food places nearby. Wouldn't stay here again unless it gets updated. The good: the staff did what they could to help make our stay better; close to six flags and offer shuttle to the park; Reasonably priced.

The price for fall is quite a bit less than during peak season, however, it still seems high for the quality of the room. I stayed in the "annex" section which is behind the main building where many of their rooms are located. This section of the hotel is pet friendly and there is lots of areas to let the dogs snoop. There is a fee of $25 per day for up to 4 pets. I did not see any size restriction. There is a bar in the Holidome which is open in the evening. The restaurant is totally clos... Read more
