We called thinking we were calling a Best Western when in fact this motel is now an Econo Inn. The new owners are friendly and helpful. The buildings are all one level much like the older style motels, The rooms were clean and prices were fair. The breakfast room was well furnished and the variety of items was good.

We notified the owner our beds were infested with bed bug and they refused to accept responsibility. The rooms were pretty and clean, but the bugs were out of control. The owner said God would punish us 10 x's the amount we were refunded and we were just looking for a freebie. I even asked the owner to come and look himself and after much persuasion he looked and then said they were not bed bugs. Then we asked to put the boys blankets in their dryers to decontaminate and they refused our request... Read more

This hotel is clean from what I seen. I never seen any bed bugs in our room. Friendly owners. One thing I didn't like was the pic of the big breakfast bar when there was nothing except danish rolls and maybe coffee. The breakfast bar is all set up but they put nothing out. It did have the listing of a Continental Breakfast but Hey take down the pic if you are not offering it! Hardly enough items to even be called a Continental breakfast classification.

It showed a hot breakfast listed in the description at choicehotels.com, but the first day all we saw was waffles as a hot item; the second day there was waffles and sausage as hot items. There was cereal, boiled eggs, toast, waffles and fruit. Not the best breakfast included hotel we have stayed at but not the worst either. Check in was a little tense because the lady that checked us in thought we had stayed there before (we haven't) and we were grilled a little rudely about how many adults and ... Read more

While it is an older hotel, it was pretty good for my stay. The room was clean and the wifi worked. The price was within my travel budget and would stay there again. The breakfast items were limited as with most Econo Lodge's but it was suitable for my needs.

Hot tub appeared clean until you turned on the jets, then soap scum started to appear and was getting on the sides of the tub/spa. It probably needed the filter replaced but when you pay extra for the use of a spa you want it clean. However the breakfast was very good and hot, room a/c was cold.

This is not a four-star resort..it's a one story, aged, stop. Yet... it's just as clean and comfortable, just without all the amenities. Free breakfast was well received by my family and we slept well, at a really reasonable price...we don't always have to have the amenities. We stayed here for a St. Louis Cardinals baseball game, and the drive and trip was only an hour or so...

The room looked nice. It was clean and comfy. The front desk lady was very kind and helpful. The pool had a lot of chlorine! The breakfast was okay. Cereal, toast, sausage, and waffles. The air conditioner in my room was very loud. Over all I was happy with it. It just should have been 75 instead of 100$

I tried to check in at 3:00am. I have a service dog and front desk clerk refused me service because of him!!! Clerk was rude and said they had no rooms available. I clearly could see at least 10 rooms empty as this hotel is all on ground floor and doors open out to parking lot. No cars parked in front of these doors. At this late hour most people will be in their rooms.

I have stayed at this motel since it was a best western. I have directed many work associates to this location, over the years. I had always been happy with my front door parking and clean comfortable room. My room this last stay was a filthy smoking room. Carpets were filthy, dusty, AC did not work properly, long hair & soap scum in shower, towels looked to be old frayed cleaning rags. Will stay at super 8, next door, in the future

Room was clean and comfortable and very inviting. Staff was super nice, there was a problem with computer system when I checked out. Desk operator was very apologetic and made every attempt to get us on our way. Was super satisfied and will return again.

We pulled into this motel at 2:30 am with a family of four.. We asked for a double room, we were quoted $109 plus tax which seemed a little high for the exterior appearance of this motel but we were tired and desperate for sleep so we took the room. Upon entering the room it had a very dank musty pet odor. My husband entered the bathroom to find the floor completely flooded. The carpet surrounding the bathroom was saturated with water for four feet. My husband determined that the toilet tank ... Read more

The carpet was disgusting. We put a towel down on the floor between the beds and wore our shoes around the rest of the room. We stayed Friday night and spent the day out running on Saturday. When we arrived back at our room with dinner to eat on Saturday we had to cockroaches come out to watch us eat. That is when we went to find a room at another hotel for Saturday night. I should also mention the pillow cases were so worn they were see through, the wash cloths were discolored and stained and I... Read more

This is the type of motel you can use if you are just passing through for one night and don't expect or need any amenities. The water pressure was terrible, barely a trickle. The room, even though declared as non-smoking, smelled of smoke, and there was a definite odor of mildew in the bathroom. This was all pointed out to the management, but they didn't seem that concerned. If we weren't so tired from traveling all day, we would have looked elsewhere.

This Econolodge is only good for sleeping! The rates are higher than posted, and the breakfast was terrible! There were no eggs, and the sausage tasted like it was a week old. The owner said that was all they were going to put out, and it was 6:30! The only positive was that the room was clean and nice.

I traveled to Cuba missouri to visit my son and he suggested I stay at the econolodge. I was greeted by the owner who was working the front desk. She greeted my with a smile and thanked me for choosing to stay with them. There was plenty of parking and the exterior of the building looked very well maintained. After a short check in process I got my key and headed out to my room. The room was very clean and had two what seemed like king beds. I didn't think I would use them both but my son deci... An old style motel that needed a lot of help. The front desk staff was unhelpful in securing our Choice rewards, the lobby was shabby and the breakfast area unappealing, and we ended up paying more for an upgrade. Even so, the room was disappointing, mould on the bathroom walls, fan was loud, and the wifi was inaccessible. Motel location is next to the highway, so noisy during the night. Fortunately, there was a family style Country Kitchen restaurant nearby that had accessible wifi and also se... Read more
