The H.I. Executive Center is a great facility for large or small conferences. There were in excess of 250 attendees of the conference I attended. The accomodations are very nice, clean, updated, comfortable and conducive for sleeping. The service is professional and inviting. The conference center is great and the food services are also great. The location is very convenient with easy access to I-70 and right accross the street from the mall for the shoppers in your group.

I had a business meeting at this motel. It is connected to the Expo Center and has a number of meeting rooms. The organization I was speaking for took care of my reservations. I was in a king suite which was extra clean and had all the amenities needed for a business traveler. Great staff, wonderful room.

Was there for a conference venue and I have nothing to say but good about our room. Very roomy and nice. Bathroom was large, with plenty of space and lots of lights. Rooms were nice along in having a refrigerator and microwave, which was great! Was at the end of the hallway which was wonderful as it was very quiet. Would stay there again and would recommend it to anyone who is contemplating about their accommodations.

Tiny bathroom. Way overpriced. Could hear everything in the hall and next door. Busy weekend. No coffee on Saturday . Difficult to navigate into hotel. Neither trip advisor nor holiday inn would take responsibility for the reservation. Misled by tripadvisor post.

Staff was fantastic, the suite was fantastic, restaurant was great - I KNOW they gave us a lot of leeway all weekend. We had quite a few young guys keeping up the noise as we did when we were their age. No issues from the staff. We always felt welcome.

The rooms were outdated, hallway was hot, indoor pool was nothing to brag about. Everything about this place is very outdated. I was quoted a completely different price than charged and though Landon, the manger, gave me a little money back it wasn't even 10% of my total cost. Too much money wasted! Never ever again!!!

Was in town for Mizzou graduation this month and stayed here. Never again! The best this about the hotel was the inner lobby but this place is old, dingy, and dirty. This has to be one of the worst HDI in the country. Next time I'll stay at the courtyard or something like that but not this place. Not worth the discomfort or the money.

I've stayed at room 249 at the Holiday Inn Columbia hotel from March 2nd to 5th, 2016. I did not have a good experience so could not recomend such hotel. I've stayed in other hotels from this same company in Saint Laurent Du Var, France and Sidney, Australia, despite other hotels from other groups around the world and NEVER had any problem. On the 4th morning I noticed that a perfume vial that I used the day before disappeared from the my restroom. The same morning I explained the situation and... Read more

I was here for an Elected Officials Training (sounds important, doesn't it?). Accommodations were lovely, as were the conference rooms. I was very pleased with my room, which included a refrigerator and micro. However, they had a Keurig, rather than a regular coffee maker. I am not a fan of Keurig, so I sent my husband down to get me some REAL coffee and had to pay for it. They also don't provide breakfast for their guests - you must purchase your meals in the attached restaurant. We did get to... Read more

Our family of 32 members, ranging in age from 97 years old to 11 months old and coming together from 8 states and Mexico, had a wonderful experience here. I cannot praise the staff highly enough--everyone we encountered went out of their way to be helpful, and their combination of pleasantness and efficiency was much appreciated. The person who handled our initial reservations was helpful, and while there were a few glitches at registration, the well trained staff sorted everything out. Lando... Read more

I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn for the Bar Exam, and it exacerbated an already stressful situation. First, when I booked the room, I initially booked it at $109/night, but then about three weeks later, the reservation staff called me to tell me a clerical error occurred, and that the rate would actually be $139/night, and that I could either accept the new rate, or cancel. Wanting to be at the same hotel where the Bar Exam was administered, I begrudgingly accepted because I knew that most... Read more

The hotel was very nice. The employees was helpful and had a lot of amenities. It was nice to be able to stay in the same hotel where the MO bar was being given. The only negative to our stay was, we asked for a wake up call and never received one, fortunately we had one set.

I rest pretty well in their very comfortable beds too. I will be staying at this hotel every time I am in Columbia, MO.

The hotel was nice and certainly met my needs. However it felt a bit dated and could use some renovations. The televisions were older, the carpet showed its age, and pretty well everything had a well used appearance. A couple of things that might be a problem for some is the rooms have a shower but no bathtub. Also, the hall to the indoor pool has a strong foot odor and the place in general has a musty smell. Some good points are the staff are professional, the fitness area is very large and re... Read more

This property has been completely renovated, is in a great location convenient to the University and a shopping mall. The attached restaurant and sports bar is outstanding as well. The staff at both the hotel and restaurant were outstanding. Going out of their way to insure we had what we needed.

I rented a Parlor Suite on a Friday evening for my daughter's birthday party. Room was clean and everything worked well. The room provided us with a large area for food and games as well as a bar area with small refrigerator and sink. The indoor and outdoor pools were perfect to keep all our guests entertained. The pool areas were clean and well-stocked with fresh towels. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. This h=Holiday Inn made several mistakes, like forgetting to give wake up calls, or insisting you take a full sized bed instead of a queen or king. They try to put you in the area where dogs are allowed to stay, or owners walk their at 6 am and your sleep is disturbed . Make any complaint and they record it for future reference. This practice seems unfair. I will not ever stay here again. I believe if you ask for a wake up time it is a MUST for the hotel to do as they are asked or don't offer ... Read more

We stayed here for a night with some friends. The rooms were clean. I didn't check us in but my sister in law said the gentleman at the front desk wasn't real friendly. I didn't get a chance to use the gym but it looked like it was a nice one. We didn't use the pool either but there is an indoor and outdoor pool avilable. The bathroom was pretty small but it was clean. No continental breakfast but Dennys is right down the road so we ate there. Free wifi is available. Rooms were a little... Read more

This is a convention center so there were hundreds of people in the hotel. That said you had to park a long way from lobby. There were only 6 or 7 handicap spots for that amount of people, which was ridiculous. Had to drop my wife off at lobby and park about a block away. The hotel was nice, rooms were nice, and staff very friendly. Would not stay here unless I was attending a convention.

First impression was check in with not enough staff to handle the amount of people waiting. I wanted a room with a bath tub instead of just a shower and it took around 5 minutes to confirm that my room had a tub. I was also not greeted as a member of their loyalty club. The rooms were nice and there was plenty of parking. Great location!

This at one time was the premier place to stay in Columbia. It now is booked mainly by those attending meetings or reunions. It shows its wear with stains on the walls and worn furnishings. It is clean, convenient to the interstate and a bypass to MU. That also means it is a bit noisy as it is not well quietened from other guest rooms either. Hotel staff is courteous, friendly, and helpful. Price is a bit high considering other places in the area so unless attending a function here or gett... Read more

The bar was super packed when we arrived , so we thought we would watch some football games in our room instead .. tried to order food for dinner and the room service attendant asked if we could call back later . Too busy they could not take any additional orders . A good problem to have for them I guess !

This time I am in need of a handicap room for myself, as I just had Open Heart surgery 3 weeks ago over at the local VA Hospital. This visit, I was given room 140 and it is great. It is a large room and my oversized walker with wheels is easily maneuverable in and out of the bathroom. We watched game 5 of the World Series on a very nice flat screen TV and they have FS1 too, so I could catch the Postgame show which I am very pleased about that. The room was spacious, the bathroom nicely up-dated. The common-area lounge by the waterfall was a relaxing wonderful space. The location is excellent, being right off the interstate and across the street from a great mall... IF you know exactly which streets/paths to follow getting in and out. I would have given this hotel 5-stars, except: most of the seating in that lounge was blocked off for 2 days (no apparent reason, such as reserved by a group). This was the host hotel for a traffic safety conference coordinated by Missouri Dept of Transportation. The staff was always accommodating and friendly. They handled multiple check-ins with grace, however the "front desk" looks like a couple of oversized speaker stands instead of a large imposing desk, so for a moment I wasn't sure I was in the right line. In a way this set-up is friendlier, just not what I was looking for. Several guests had trouble with the locks on their doors. It was more co... Read more
