Carpets have stains on floors, mold in bathroom. Front night clerks were absolutely rude as can be. I will never stay in this hotel again. If I were Days Inn I would be completely embarrassed on how this facility looks, as well as managed.

What miserable experience. From the first phone call to check in, nothing but attitude. They literally told me I should go elsewhere. Apparently "Pets Welcome" doesn't mean anything other than dogs of a specific size and weight. Certainly not cats even though we were told they were fine. They finally acquiesced but then he walked near our room spraying Fabreze. Just weird.

Booked with points, got to hotel at 11pm, only ones in the lobby, manager said our room booking was not approved by our points program; I called the points program, who indicated that the Days Inn was charging us too much money and that he needed to charge us their contracted rate. Manager would not do that, would not call the points program, we got him to give us the room for straight payment - for an astronomical price considering the depolorable rooms. Hotel rooms in Columbia are hard to come by when big events like graduation are taking place in Columbia, so you end up paying more for everything. The rooms were clean but property is showing a little wear and tear. Staff was friendly. Breakfast wasn't great but offered some hot items and was very good. Breakfast room was not real inviting but adequate. The property in general is a little run down and made me feel like we paid for a little more than expected for the price.

Conveniently located off I-70. Front desk staff was friendly. Front lobby is nice and clean. Rooms are out dated and are in need of some work. If you want to save an extra $20 compared to other nearby hotels, one would expect lower quality.

The property was not as nice as pictured in the ad. The landscaping needs considerable work even though the driveway is being redone. There was no fitted sheet on my bed, had to eat my waffle with a spoon, and to top it off, the battery was going dead in the smoke detector.

Upon arriving to and entering my room I noticed a wet and dirty wash cloth lying on the table inside the door. I needed to use the restroom so when I went there I found that both hand towels were hanging on the rack and they looked like someone had removed their make-up using these towels and the maid just hung them back up. I'll start off by saying typically my husband and I would never stay at a Days Inn, but we had our dog with us and had limited options so went with Days Inn. Considering this was the more expensive options of the dog friendly hotels, I at least expected the property and rooms to be decent. Curb appeal was awful, common areas smelled, and the room itself made me want to cry a bit. My husband and I were afraid to take off our shoes and walk on the carpet. I stayed here last year and didn't have any issues so I decided to stay here again on my cross country trip this year. The cleanliness was way downhill from last year. The cover for the back if the toilet was just a random piece of plastic that didn't fit it. When I went to get into bed there was a giant urine stain covering most of the bottom sheet. I went down to the desk and she apologized and moved me to another room, First thing I did was check the bed and there was dog hair all over ... Read more

You will save if you book in advance (at least 10 days). Location is just off I-70, but watch out for the tricky ??round about?? that brings you up to the motel entrance. Instead of heading for the entrance, go toward the U-Haul rental next door and turn in on the drive that brings you to the east side of the hotel. It is NOT well marked. Rooms show wear but are O.K. Front Desk clerk was efficient. Breakfast includes scrambled eggs, cereal, coffee, O.J., and other items. During my staff, ... Read more

Nasty and filthy. Complete false advertising. Pool and Jacuzzi outdated and dirty. Towels were stained really bad...no water pressure in the 1950's style bathroom, beds had crumbs under the bedspread. There was a scent I can't describe. It was much like a wet dog or the ape exhibit at the St Louis Zoo. I was so disappointed. We wanted to stay 2 nights and only stayed from about 8 pm and got out as fast as we could at 6 am because we were completely disgusted. We unfortunately booked ... Read more

The shower had a faucet that wouldn't stop leaking, the toilet seat wasn't attached and the lady at check out wasn't very friendly.

We were surprised about the motel. All the ratings we saw were made it an iffy choice for a two day stay. This is not a five star hotel with all the glitz but we thought it was very good. Clean, beds very comfortable and the microwave and refrigerator were very handy. Glad we booked this motel.

Horrible. Very dirty. Staircase and hallway did not look vacuumed for days. Room smelled of smoke, bathroom smelled of urine. Chair in room stained. Bedspreads and sheets stained and dirty. First room they offered the smoke detector was "chirping" and the room smelled of smoke and urine. They "upgraded" us but that room was worse and more stains showed.

It was our college son's homecoming week-end. The room was not cleaned Saturday morning. When we returned that evening we were sickened because when my husband went to the front desk, the night clerk did not know how to respond. Also, as my husband walked back to our room, a door opened and 3 women smelling heavily of perfume with a man following, escorted these women to a bus in front of the hotel. I am NEVER staying here again. As a matter a fact, we are disputing the bill for Saturday night w... Read more

Front desk clerk Omar was really amazing with service provided by him and we felt right at home. The room was clean and neatly put together. The hotel breakfast was very nice and who would say no to hot breakfast in the morning? Once again Omar was there in the morning to check out us and saying goodbye with a smile. Definitely was worth our stay and would recommend to anyone.

We got there late, turned the beds down and saw there were large stains on the sheets, they had no staff onsite to change them they called someone in. Mold all over the shower curtain, mold on many spots around the shower, there was a decorative header in the bathroom that was falling down, smelled, not nice at all!! When checking out the asked about our stay I said it was not good, under his breathe he said what was wrong, I said the room is filthy and all he said was "OH". NOTHING ELSE!!

This was the first time I took my Girlscouts (age 10) out of town for an overnight trip witg a hotel. Upon leaving the hotel everyone had a headache and half of the girls left with a cough that they did not have the night before. The halls and rooms smelled like a dirty old bar. There were stains on the chairs and carpet. The light switch in one room didn't work. Paint was peeling off of the inside of the tub (looked like someone painted the inside of tub when they repainted the walls) One of t... Read more

Days Inn Columbia was one of the worse properties at which I have stayed. The grounds are poorly kept, and I was met by three unprofessional looking people at the desk. They acted confused when I told them I had a reservation through booking.com but eventually found my room. The room itself was quite gross as well. The chair and fixtures looked like they were from a flea market and the bathroom was unacceptable. The toilet base was gross and tub had mildew stains on. The grout and very poorly d... Read more

The business is below Days Inn standards. I was very disappointed. The worst part was that there was black mold between shower tiles. The grout was not attractive.
