Average place to stay. Great location in reference to the "strip" in Branson, MO. Learn to use the alternate "Blue, Yellow & Red" routes as they will come in handy when traveling the area. We were invited to preview a timeshare in area and offered this hotel as a place to stay for the 3 days in town over Memorial Day weekend. Walked in the room and noticed a musty smell right away spoke to the front desk about and they did not seem to concerned about the issue. Checked the AC filters that... Read more

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights for our anniversary trip away. I really have no complaints about my stay. Staff was friendly, the pool was nice (but did need closer monitoring: there was a group of boys that dived in every imaginable way for over an hour), breakfast was good, and I like having the restaurant and bar right on the 9th floor, it was nice to have something to do at the end of a busy day that didn't involve driving on 76. Our room was nice, we had one of the king suit... Read more

Attitude of the staff is great: helpful, quick response, esp valet parking assistance. Very good breakfast and 9th floor location is nice: go early, it can get crowded. Hotel property average. Beds OK. Good hotel location one block off the main drag to avoid that congestion, but difficult entry onto main drag because of no traffic light there.

We are just finishing the last day of a 4 day stay. The first thing I noticed when we arrived,is that this is a hotel were ADA accommodations were an after thought. This is a large hotel with 8 floors, 200 rooms and only 7 handicap parking spaces. The ADA entrance is actually on the back side of the hotel, requiring that you go down the elevator to check in. If you have any mobility problems, you are not going to park on north side, which is actually the front. It's a tiered lot with steep hil... Read more

We stayed in one of the King rooms with a Jacuzzi tub. We didn't have a chance to use the tub, it looked okay. The beds are horribly uncomfortable(even by hotel standards), the bedding was just cheap and itchy, and the AC unit kept the room at subzero temps(adjusting the temp did nothing, we finally just turned it off). The breakfast, you pretty well get what you pay for(it's free), don't expect anything great(biscuits and gravy were pretty good, the eggs were powdered or something like that). O... Read more

My husband and I just stayed 4 nights at the Grand Plaza, and it was a good place to stay. The location is right in middle of a variety of theaters. The free breakfast on the 9th floor was really good! Biscuits and gravy is my favorite. They also have scrambled eggs, waffles, fruit, cereals, yogurt, potatoes, bagels and such each day. Some days had ham, oatmeal, grits, and sausage links. What a way to start the day! The staff were very helpful and cleared the tables quickly. The room--double que... Read more

Worst hotel experience of our lives! Our rooms were filthy, the staff was rude, the parking was horrendous. Our beds were filthy and slept in one even contained blood on the sheets. The general manager with a simple I'm sorry and did nothing for the inconvenience. The clean sheets had holes in them, the water in the shower would change from hot to cold. If you love yourself at all, JUST DON'T DO IT!

Stayed here for the weekend and was pleasantly surprised! Everyone was soooo friendly. Our room was great. The breakfast was ok better than a lot of other places. The only downfall of this beautiful hotel is the parking!! It's on a hill. Having fun all night and trying to walk up those stairs is not cool! Someone should reconsider the parking!! But overall a great stay!!!

Front desk people are so very helpful and because parking can be a problem they have valet parking and return the keys to you. The hotel is located smack in the middle of all the hustle and bustle of Branson. I visited with my husband and our friend, so we had a "family-room"; a room with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, but only one entrance. We were set up in this hotel as part of a timeshare package and this is the worse hotel we have ever stayed at in Branson. No safety set up in bath, my Mom(who is 79)slipped in tub and banged her knee as there was no bar to hang on to and floor of tub very slippery. Very limited handicap parking and even regular parking. Luggage carts were very hard to guide. We will not be returning to this hotel.

Just returned home last night from 3 nights in the Hotel. The good first, had the best prime rib ever at the Hotel restaurant. The service was excellent, the young lady was a great host, very nice. The almost good, the complimentary breakfast was lacking, I happen to like mixed fruit and their choice had unfamiliar fruits and was awful to my taste.
