Clarion always seemed to mean upper class. It was fancy, or I should say the lobby was. The rooms were not bad. The staff dresses like New York greeters. They were stuffy though, unfriendly, looked down their noses, no sense of humor. Branson has a fun aspect and sense of humor about it. The Ascend and Clarion are an upper level of the Choice Hotel chain, or at least that is what we expect. But what ruined us most of all was there was no breakfast with the stay!! All of the Choice HOt... Read more

Very excellent and friendly staff, delicious breakfast, inviting and clean rooms, clever jungle decor..two pools: indoor and outdoor.. Convenient to everything. Walking distance to restaurants, some shows, small walking outdoor mall..beautiful reception area... Can order show tickets from Anita in the lobby kiosk. Free wifi, coffee and tea makers in rooms, fridge and microwave. Free coffee also in the reception room. We will definitely stay here again.

This was my first time staying here, but the group I was with had stayed here before, so that is a plus. It was very nice, staff was very friendly and helpful. I am sure we will stay here again our next time in the area.

our first time here, the rooms are wonderful and so is the indoor pool and hot tub . We were able to park our motorcycles under the overhead portion of the lower level to keep them out of any bad weather and the staff offered to move their vehicle to make more room if needed.

Gorgeous Lobby, nice rooms. King bed was comfortable with great pillows. Top floor balcony views are very nice! Friendly staff! Great pool and hot tub also. Awesome location right on the strip... We would certainly stay here again!

The Clarion is located right on the strip across from the Baldknobbers and between the Presleys and Clay Cooper. Walking distance to show, restaurants and amusements. Has indoor and outdoor pools and hot tubs. Haven't ever seen that before. Rooms have small balconies, frig, microwave and flat screen TV. Good wifi. Friendly staff. Hotel has won many Choice Hotels awards which are displayed in the lobby. Only weak spot was the breakfast. You have to go to their restaurant next door and the... Read more

For a total of $140.80 per night, I was not impressed with this room, or the hotel. The hotel doesn't even offer any sort of continental breakfast, but you can go to the restaurant next door and eat there for a small discount. The parking was a nightmare! After attending a museum, my husband and I returned to the hotel at around 9:00 p.m.only to find that there was no place available at the hotel to park. We parked at another hotel, walked into the Clarion lobby to ask about where we were suppos... Read more

My wife and I stayed at the Clarion Hotel in Branson, Mo. It is a very nice hotel. They have a very nice restaurant next door to the hotel called Buckinghams restaurant. If you go there for breakfast, show them your key card from the hotel and you get a discount. Very nice breakfast bar. All that you could want for breakfast. Nice people and very clean rooms. We would recommend this hotel to everyone. Has an indoor pool but don't know if it is heated or not and they also have an outdoor pool,

This was a nice place to stay. No problems except the TV stations. Nothing decent to watch. Enjoyed our 3 days here. Beautiful pools, balconies overlooking either 76 boulevard on the front or the swimming pool on the back. Breakfast buffet was half price next door at Buckingham's. Dinner at Buckingham's was very good.

The balcony is great for an after dinner conversation. The staff was very helpful for suggesting the diner across the street called Cake and Cream. Best ice cream money can buy. Oh, and be certain to ask to stay in President's quarters. Well, it's worth a try. I'm certain all of the rooms are as nice as our was. Enjoy your visit and be sure to go to see Moses at the Sight and Sound. It is wonderful.

One night stay as we passed thru from arkansas. We've stayed here several times in the past and always enjoyed it. This time, not so much. Check in was kind of a pain even though I was pre-paid. Felt like I was disturbing the gentleman behind the counter. Room was a little on the worn side. Kids enjoyed the pool but one thing I cannot stand is the damn breakfast. They used to have an agreement with Sadie's for the best and free breakfast. Now they have forced out Sadie's and you can eat ... Read more

I had moved out of another hotel on the Branson strip because of so much displeasure with them, and called Clarion. They went above and beyond to accommodate us on such short notice. Had a great room, easy access from the elevator and overlooking the pool. My expectation was noisy hall by the elevator and noisy pool NO !!! When the kids in the pool got a little carried away, hotel staff politely had them all quiet down. Service, staff, everyone was just so friendly and helpful. I will defini... Read more

The location is great, right on the strip. They have a lot of rooms so they don't fill up as quickly as some of the others. The main lobby is at the top of the hill and most of the parking area is on down the hill. But that is the way most of Branson is, up hill and down hill.

My wife and I stayed at the Clarion Hotel 3 nights for our getaway in Branson and were very happy with the accommodations. The hotel is located in the middle of everything. It's close to the museums and many of the shows. There's also a Price Chopper and a Wal-Mart just a few blocks away. The restaurant next door (Buckingham's) is an excellent choice for dinner but you'll be better off spending your money down the street at the Belgian Pancake and Waffle House for breakfast. We will gladly retu... Read more

Our room was super clean, and believe me I check everything when ever I get to a hotel. I even carry disinfecting spray. But the first thing that I always check is the mattresses. This was one of the cleanest hotels I have ever stayed in. The check in staff was so friendly and nice. But I was most impressed with the cleaning staff. They are so polite. They say good morning when you see them in the hallways. Alberto one of the cleaning staff in particular took the time to give directions to my h... Read more

Me and my husband stayed 2 nights for our honeymoon in Branson and were VERY pleased with the accommodations!! Pool-that's open until midnight, sauna, gym-that's open until 10pm. The bed was sooo comfy we did not want to even wake up...LOL! We chose to go to Buckingham's next door for breakfast and it was wonderful only $4.95 for buffet, we didn't have to wait long and experienced great service. The location is perfect! We will be returning with our kiddos in the future!!

This was our second stay at this hotel and it may be our last. We booked this room because I enjoy the pool at this hotel. Last year when we stayed we requested a room with a balcony facing the pool. When we arrived the front desk representative was able to accommodate our request despite having a large group in during that time. The breakfast was served next door at Buckingham's Steak House and was complimentary as I have come to expect from Choice Hotels. We were overall satisfied with the hot... Read more

Booked through trip advisor and what a horrible choice. I will never stay at another Clarion Hotel again. WIFI was a total pain in the butt to get working. My wife and I have two iPhones, two iPads and two laptops. I could only get one iPad, one phone working out of the entire group, and I am an IT networking pro. The parking sucked. Rooms were OK but not nearly as nice as Holiday Inn Express or Hampton Inns. Spider in room when we walked in. Shower is tiny. Front door opens outside. Rooms were ... Read more

My wife and I were making our first visit to Branson and were staying at this hotel as a reward from Diamond Resorts for a previous time share presentation, so the cost was covered by them. We were treated very well from the moment we walked in by Alice, the desk clerk. She got us checked in quickly, gave us advice on a variety of things to do with Branson, helped us find locations on a map, and let us know all we needed about the hotel. Then to take it up another step, when I informed her that... Read more
