Looks a little shabby at first but a nice hotel with very friendly staff. Clean and well maintained lobby and room. Quiet AC and no traffic noise on south side. Refrigerator a plus. Emailed checkout receipt, robust coffee, and breakfast bags are great if you sleep late. Like the Drury, no charge for pets makes them tops in our book -- even though we didn't bring our little dog. Will definitely return.

We were traveling through and was to meet with one of our suppliers. He recommended to stay here. We were very pleased with staff and accommodations. The continental breakfast was one of the best we have ever had. I am very particular with cleanliness and was impressed with the room, hotel and lobby. I would definitely stay here again.

This is probably the best crew I have experienced at the Hampton. Very friendly and helpful. EVERYONE. Also very much appreciate their pet friendly policy. The only thing that rated below 100% was location. We were there to visit the Truman Library and it was a bit of a drive but worth it to have such a great hotel.

Blue Springs, KS Hampton Inn has a friendly staff. The room was clean. The bed was too hard for me, so I did not sleep well. The room temperature stayed very comfortable. There is a convenient restaurant next door.

We chose this Hampton Inn for the location since we were heading east and wanted to avoid the morning worked! The hotel was clean...the staff was friendly...they are a pet-friendly hotel...the breakfast was good, like most Hampton Inns. We'll definitely stop here again!

Good staff...friendly, helpful, offer a great laundry service at the front desk. The bad...the hotel is old and needs some investment to uphold the Hampton standard. Carpets, paint, fixtures all look old with considerable wear. The HVAC unit in the room (wall unit) cooled but did not dehumidify, and in June in Kansas, this doesn't cut the mustard. Very enjoyable stay. Staff members were very friendly and helpful. Washed dirty, sweaty baseballs uniforms for us! Rooms were clean and breakfast was a perk. Cold water set out all day which was great since it was so hot out during our stay. Was nice to walk in and be able to get a cold drink.

We have been using Hampton Inn at Blue Springs for several years as our Girls Weekend destination. The staff is beyond helpful - friendly, warm and eager to please. Breakfast is tasty and served by a friendly woman. Rooms are clean, AC works and beds are always perfect.

We stayed one night for a road trip. Room was good (two queen beds), enjoyed the fridge. Bed was really close to the wall making it more challenging to get in and out on that side. Breakfast was tasty.

My stay was nice. The airconitioner was old and loud. I did tell them. They exchanged it out for another one. I slept better the next night. The staff was great!!! I wished they would of had exercise room on the property.

We were in town for a youth baseball tournament. The staff was very friendly making sure to wish our team good luck every time we left for a game, and upon returning would congratulate the team when they learned they had played well. Also very helpful if we needed anything we may have forgotten.

A large dog in the breakfast area, come on. Where did the rights of non pet owners go? Not sure what hotel's pet policies will protect me as a dog/cat allergy sufferer but I will find it. This is a very nice hotel and the location could not be better. There are very good restaurants close by. They do need some sort of exercise room.

Wonderful hotel! Pet friendly, very clean rooms, delicious breakfast! Very quiet despite being next to I-70! The room was exceptionally clean! The sheets and bedspreads were very clean, and you could tell that the bedspread had been washed! Overall, excellent!

We loved very thing about this hotel, friendly & helpful staff, clean spacious room and very comfortable bed. We ate at Clancy's Cafe and Pub right next door. That was a very good place to eat and we didn't have to drive there.

The hotel is an excellent location for the Arch, baseball and football games. Excellent views of the arch and riverfront. Would have been an excellent view of the fireworks at the arch but they were moved to Forest Park due to construction.

There is nothing fancy about this Hampton Inn--including the price. The facility was tidy, the room was spotless, the complimentary breakfast more than adequate. The location next to the interstate, but just out of the way of crazy traffic in this suburban town was also ideal. Would recommend it to anyone looking for a pleasant, affordable place to stay.

My normal hotel that I had been staying in was booked full. I had to find a new hotel to stay in. This hotel was the cleanest hotel that I have ever stayed in. The lobby looked very refreshing and crisp.

I booked a block of rooms for my wedding guests and it could not have been a more confusing process for me. I was told I had to book the rooms online, done. Then when confirming my reservations, the staff had the wrong date and quoted several guests different prices. I stayed here while on a road trip with my son because it is conveniently located off of Interstate 70. The rooms are clean. The staff is friendly. The free hot breakfast is great. What more could you ask for?

Excellent accommodation although lack of onsite fitness center is a negative; fortunately the weather and neighborhood allowed for a nice run in the morning. Breakfast was excellent and room very comfortable.

I recently stayed at the Hampton Inn Blue Springs for 1 night just passing thru on a trip from the south. Moments after I book the room on my phone in route I get a call from a man at the hotel saying there are no more king bed rooms available and we are upgrading you to a whirlpool room with king bed??? Do you need to stay in Blue Springs? Are you in the Hilton loyalty program? Do you want to stay in a Hampton Inn that looks/costs like a Best Western? This is the place for you. Definitely not representative of what I'd think of when I think of a Hampton Inn, but the price is right, the service is representative of Hilton quality, and the rooms are serviceable if a bit outdated.

I have stayed in hundreds of hotels. I travel a lot for work, and have for many years. I prefer the Hilton brand because of the standards that they keep. With that said, the staff at this hotel have gone above and beyond more than once to cater to my needs. I have stayed here many times. Today was no different. Room was clean except for carpet. Carpet needed a good cleaning. Because carpet was dirty (feet got black from walking around) I looked hard at the entire room. Could not find anything else that was dirty.

We stopped for one night with 3 people. Had a room with a king bed and sofa bed. Room smelled like smoke and we noticed a burn in the sofa. The management at first said they were full and had no other rooms. They also said the burn had been in the sofa for years which led us to believe that was either a lie or they do not take care of their furnishings. Our first room we were given upon check in was on the 3rd floor and it smelled strongly of smoke. We immediately asked to be switched, & our second room assigned was still on 3rd floor and also reeked.

Pleasant and friendly staff, comfy, good food, all hotel prices are too high but this one is less expensive in comparison. We do not stay in any hotel where they use bedspreads . I felt like all fabrics my skin touched was clean and sanitary! The chair in the room was clean looking and comfortable.

Very comfortable stay - clean room and bathroom facilities. ingress and egress for parking was somewhat challenging but not unable to be navigated. We weren't sure whether breakfast was included and complimentary or not.

Very clean and staff was very friendly. Breakfast was very good with good selection. Location is close to shopping and sports complex. We took advantage of online check in. Got to the hotel after 11pm and room keys were ready at front desk.

We booked 2 rooms - one smelled like smoke and the other had an unusual Oder ! The breakfast area smelled like strong extermination chemicals ! It sounded like water was leaking from the ice machine second floor and the elevator ???? It's also right on the highway it's loud I won't be back

This hotel is one of my favorites in the area. The staff are so welcoming, they remember past lyoal stayers, they really go above and beyond!! The breakfast is hot the rooms are clean, everything works, and they do a great job to help you get or find anything!!

The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 stars is because this hotel is very close to I-70 highway and there was a lot of traffic noise. The bed was super comfortable, coffee in my room, front desk staff were amazing and the breakfast was fantastic as usual. I would definately stay here again!

The rooms smell like a mix of an ashtray and someone who just used the bathroom ( a number 2). At least the room appeared to be clean. Unfortunately not much choice in the area. Avoid the Hilton garden inn in independence also. Lee's Summit is good but your best bet is downtown Kansas city.

We have stayed at many Hampton Inn's and we are rarely disappointed in them. They are not the cheapest game in town but they are consistently good and we know what we are getting for our money. This hotel was a huge disappointment. Since we booked it on the road only hours prior to arrival, I did not check reviews and I am sorry I didn't. I wish the beds were a little softer, but otherwise satisfied with everything else. Breakfast was good. Plenty of towels in the room and towels available at the pool. Our room was on the first floor and we had no issues in our room that other people have mentioned.

Hampton Inns are consistent and this one did not disappointment me. Very friendly and competent staff, spacious rooms with desk and easy chair. The breakfast was excellent; so was the coffee. A good value!!!

They tried to charge me and my wife and additional deposit upon our arrival at the hotel. They didn't charge that deposit to the white couple that was standing beside us at the front desk. We had to wait for a manager to call back before they would agree to take the deposit off of my credit card. The breakfast was horrible. It was just biscuits and gravy no flavor to the gravy the eggs with dry everything was terrible. The only thing good about this day was the coffee.

I'm retired now, when I was working I traveled to KC one week every month, for 30 years. The last twelve yrs I stayed here. Now, when I go to KC for fun, I still stay at the Hampton Inn in Blue Springs. The staff is wonderful, the rooms a big and clean, and they have an excellent breakfast.

This hotel was very clean, peaceful, and had very friendly staff members. Breakfast was good and plentiful. We would seek out this particular hotel when we are in this area again. One of the best Hampton Inns we have stayed in.
