I arrived at this hotel in middle of the night after a flight into GPT. I didn't have a reservation but the gentleman on duty at the front desk found me a great room quickly and I was able to get some rest. Room was perfectly clean and quiet, allowing me to get a great night's sleep. I usually don't care for hotel breakfasts, but this place had such a lovely selection and was super-clean, tidy & well organized. This is one of the best Hampton Inns I've seen and I travel extensively for both ... Read more

I stayed here for two nights on a business trip. The hotel was very well kept, I thought it had recently opened and was surprised to learn it had been open for 6 years. A staff member said they try to keep it looking new and they do an excellent job at that.

Used Hilton points and was given a suite which was a pleasant surprise. staff were friendly at check in, room was very clean, I enjoyed vegging on the sofa after 8 hours on the road and found a great old movie on HBO! AC was noisy unit but otherwise a pleasant stay.

Myself and my family truly enjoyed our stay at the Hampton inn in the town of wiggens. The service desk was nothing but kind & helpful . My daughter loved the pool and the fact that it went to six foot was awesome. The cleanliness of the room was perfect. This is one of the better Hampton inns I stayed at. Will defiantly stay again.

The rooms are very clean, the hotel is off the main road far enough that it is relatively quiet. The hotel staff was very friendly and the grounds, lobby and hallways were very clean. This is not a brand new hotel, but it is pretty well maintained. We will stay there again.

Clean, quiet, friendly Good breakfast Large shower Comfortable bed What else would anyone look for in a hotel? The property is a short drive north of Biloxi / Gulfport and a short drive north to Hattiesburg (USM, Wm. Carey, Camp Shelby)

It is not the most convenient location, but when compared with the price of staying on the gulf coast (Biloxi/Gulfport) it was worth the 30 mile drive to the coast. Gas prices were 10 to 15 cents less per gallon in Wiggins as well if that makes a difference for you. The Hampton Breakfast was wonderful as usual (even got Bagel Toppers - my personal favorite). I can't really find anything nitpicky to talk about. I really enjoyed my 2 days stay.

This is a nice hotel and the staff is friendly. I'm glad to see that the quality has not gone down in several years. We stay here often because it is in Wiggins where our families are. You won't be disappointed.

We did online check-in 24 hours prior to our arrival so we could select the room we would stay in. The staff thought that meant we were already there before we had arrived. When I went to the front desk to pick up our keys, I was told my party was already in the room and I could head up. I told them "I assure you nobody I know is here. My husband is still in the car." They called "my room" and asked the person who answered what their last name is. Once they figured out they missed up, they apolo... Read more

Fantastic staff and very clean rooms. Best place to stay in between the Mississippi Gulf Cost and Hattiesburg Mississippi. Skip the breakfast and find somewhere else to eat. The beds are very comfortable and the bathrooms are nice and smell neutral.

I'd recommend staying here if you wanted to be close to the Gulfport/Biloxi area. The county is a dry county, so you can't buy a beer or drink with dinner. You can purchase liquor, beer or wine at Walmart though. There was an instance where someone was banging on doors in the late night early morning that was handled by the hotel staff.

Room was very comfortable but the AC unit blows directly on the thrermosat making it very difficult to keep the entire room one temperature. Our room was right next to the outdoor pool which wasn't great but the fact that the curtains don't close all the way made it very uncomfortable. When I arrived I noticed the "No Firearms Allowed" sign. Not a big issue but I wish I had known before I got there. However, I mentioned it to the manager the next morning and she told me I should have just ign... Read more

As usual this hotel is quiet, out of the way, very pleasant staff. Surprised to see the addition of McAlister's Deli. There were not a lot of chain restaurants there, but with the hometown restaurants, they were never really needed. The only problem I noticed is the pool water was a bit unkempt. Could have used a cleanout. Did not detract me from swimming.

We completed a reservation online as we were on the road. We were about an hour away. We arrived after 8pm, and the check in was easy. Was able to park at the side entrance leading to the elevator. The room was very clean and spacious. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast the following morning had a great selection. Was nice before hitting the road again. Would stay again if ever in the area.

My family and I stayed here on our way down to Florida for vacation, which is a nice break if you're coming from the Midwest. I used 10k Hilton points for a double queen, but when we arrived, we were offered an upgrade to a king studio. Samantha, who was leading the front desk, suggested that it would work out better with our small children. We were even provided a quick tour to see if the room would work for us, which it did. Not only did we sleep great, but enjoyed a nice, hot breakfast in the... Read more

I was traveling with my family, and we met up with my parents at this Hampton Inn also. So, we occupied 3 rooms for one night. The axe range of our group was 9 years to 80 years. The hotel was full. In fact, when we were checking in at 11pm, the desk clerk was turning away people without a reservation because they had no available rooms left. Everyone in our family was impressed and very pleased with the quality of sleep (comfortable beds, cold AC, quiet rooms, room darkening drapes) the ... Read more

Upon check-in I dodnt get the room I asked for when I did self check-in online...the room I did get smells like dog pee big time. It's a pet friendly property which I love, but people should have better trained pets if they're traveling with them. There is a sign in the elevator stating that the hotel is very full and if there is a noise complaint you will be asked to be quiet and if there is a second complaint, you will be kicked out without a refund. While I wasn't recognized as a HHONORS member right at check in, Kayla did recognize me after. The room I selected when I checked in on line wasn't available, the mananger tried to say it was unavailable because of maintenance but I already knew it was due to being understaffed in housekeeping.
