We stayed at this hotel on a Tuesday night and it was not that busy so I was surprised at how expensive it was. There is no major attraction in the town but I was told by the desk clerk that Hilton controlled the price and there was nothing they could do about it . I will find something more reasonable.

This Hilton Inn and Suites is a great place to stay when in the West Point, MS or Starkville, MS area. The staff is very friendly, the room are extremely clean, and the beds are very comfortable. When I am in this area, I always stay at this location.

The good: The staff are excellent, incredibly helpful. The rooms are very nice, and breakfast was also quite good. But the bad: The remote for the TV didn't work. Replaced the batteries, still nothing. It turned out to be the sensor for the DirecTV remote had fallen off the front of the TV and needed to be re-attached. A real pain. Then it rained -- NO TV!!!! The internet service was also really slow. And the ugly: At 9:00 on a Sunday morning, I barely had a drizzle out of the showerhead. R... Read more

Overall experience was good. Hotel clean and bed was comfortable. Hotel staff was friendly. There was road construction going on, on Hwy 45, outside the hotel when I stayed during the week of May 15th. Complementary breakfast was just average, but no different than most Hampton Inn hotels.

This hotel is very beautiful. The room was very nice and clean. It is very easy to get into and out of the parking lot. There are many different places to eat within a short distance of the hotel. The staff was very helpful and nice.

The rooms are nice enough, with decent appointments, comfortable beds, and nice bathrooms as expected, but the staff leaves quite a bit to be desired. Gloria, the breakfast attendant, was the one that stuck out the most, with a grossly negative attitude. It truly appeared like she hated the people that were there having breakfast, and she took no measures to hide it. She maintained a perpetual frown and, after someone would grab a food item, begin making a waffle, or go to fill their drink, she ... Read more

The rooms were clean and the room attendant was very thorough in her cleaning, not a bag missing from a trash can. She even assisted us in finding our missing keys. I liked that we could pick our room online and choose which floor we stayed on. I do not like that we were close to the exit because the door wasn't soft closing. I like that they offer breakfast, but some of the hot items weren't the best tasting. Check in and out was a breeze, especially since we did it all online beforehand, which ... Read more

This was a great hotel. Very clean and the staff was very friendly. My family was pleased with the variety at breakfast as well. If you have picky eaters, then this is the place for them. We would 100% recommend this hotel to our friends and family!

I only have one complaint. I have stayed at this hotel twice a week for the last two months on business. The staff is always courteous and helpful. The rooms are wonderful. The free hot breakfast is actually one I would go to a resteraunt and pay for, I would like bacon to be added (but who doesn't want bacon?) The only complaint I have is the internet is as slow as dial up, when you can get it to work. I had to use my data on my phone to get any work done.

Came to West Point for work and stayed at this hotel. The price was a little to much but the hotel was very clean, staff was very helpful and friendly. Reserved a regular King room but at check in I was given a king suite for no additional money. So really my price was not to high. Room was very comfortable, bed was as well. One of the nicest Hampton Inn I have stayed at. Would for sure stay again.

The front desk lady Monica was a pleasure. Just a one night stay for a long road trip, but I would definitely stay again. I felt safe. Breakfast was typical hotel food. The eggs were gross, but everything else was in order. Not a bad experience. Overall a good nights rest was had.

This hotel is a great value and an easy 15-minute drive from the MSU campus. Clean room, fresh sheets, and a comfy bed gave us a good night's rest. We had plenty of hot water, unlike some other places we stayed in town. Staff are friendly and courteous. The only problem I have about posting this is that I'm worried it'll make it harder to get a room next time. This will definitely be our first call the next time we come to MSU. Thanks!

This was perfect for moving my son to MSU. It was far enough out of town to avoid the hustle and bustle. The WalMart store next to hotel was perfect for last min items we forgot. The one in Starkville was PACKED with people and low on common items needed. The facilities were clean and staff were awesome. Because of timing, it was a bit pricey!

We were driving home from Gulf Shores, AL. Tired of driving in the rain. I searched for a hotel that we could stop at - recognizing Hampton as being a quality hotel without a hefty price. Everything we had hoped for and more. Relaxing, comfortable, clean - and a GREAT BREAKFAST!

From past experience in small towns, I do not take clean, smoke-free rooms for granted. Clean room, Comfortable Beds, and not a lot of outside noise! We were only here one night, but would have been happy to stay here on a longer visit. It seemed a little more expensive than I would have expected, but I was more confident in their quality than the other hotels in the area.

In order to reserve room back in July for Labor Day weekend, this hotel forced me to sign a "football game contract" for minimal 2 night stay at DOUBLE the normal rate even though my wife and I was not there for a football game that was at MSU, 25 miles away in another town.

Very nice hotel except the handicap parking wasn't enough, room door was too heavy for someone in a wheel chair and it needs an automatic door opener, and the bath room was not adequately equipped for a handicapped person. Us carnivores want meat for breakfast--EVERY DAY!!!

Okay, the good; great staff and good breakfast. The bad; aircon unit was so noisy, prevented me sleeping well. It's a typical hotel of this brand though, so blessing of a good amount of food for sale onsite.

The staff, accomodations and location were all great! Right off the main drag and near shopping and dining. The room was clean and as expected. The staff was extra helpful and attentive. My kids loved the breakfast! We had a nice stop over on our way to the beach.

I have been a guest at this hotel so many times when visiting Mississippi State University. This is also my second review of the hotel. As usual, the service is great. Everyone who works at the hotel pitches in and makes you feel so welcome. They also all work to keep the breakfast area clean and most important coffee made!! I highly recommend this hotel and will continue to return. Rooms are very comfortable and not humid, which is very important in the South.

We stayed here for a conference and were very pleased with everything. The breakfast had a range of things, from healthy foods such as fruit and oatmeal to yogurt, scrambled eggs, different meats each morning, pastries, and DIY waffles. Coffee was excellent - choice of robust, regular, or decaf. I had the robust and was very pleased. Comfortable and pleasant seating area.

Great staff and clean hotel. Only downside was the walking around noise of the people in the room above us. That made sleeping difficult! However, staff and everything else was good. We've stayed here once a year for several years and has always been a good experience.
