Check in went very smoothly at 2 am. I had called to say we would be arriving late. the room was comfortable and breakfast was good. The hotel is just off I-20. The hotel looked new. I believe it had an indoor pool. We weren't there long enough ot use it.

Hotel is located in a convenient location with easy access to restaurants and the interstate. The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious. We definitely had plenty of space. The only negatives were the noise from the hallway could be heard in our room and there is no complimentary breakfast. But, if we are in Vicksburg again, I will definitely check availability at the Holiday Inn!

The Holiday Inn in VICKSBURG is an average hotel. The rooms are very clean and the staff is generally nice. I have been staying here 1-2 times per month for the last 2 years. The breakfast host always remembers me and greets me with a smile. The workout room is adequate with a few weights and machines. The bar is below average as you will find all the work staff gathered at the bar in the evenings versus doing their normal jobs in the hotel.

Stayed here for work. Very hospitable staff. Great location off of major roads within the area. Clean and comfortable. The buffet breakfast is affordable and everything you could ask for is there. Highly recommend!

Stopped here on way to Natitoches, LA. Clean bright hotel, well kept across parking lot from Mexican restaurant, but in house restaurant reasonable. Breakfast buffet no different than Holiday Inn expresses, limited staff and little interaction.

Traveling through on I-20 and found this hotel to be convenient. It is nicely decorated, clean and staffed by pleasant, friendly people.(Especially the older woman at the breakfast buffet) The buffet was included in our room charge and was above average with items such as scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits, gravy, grits, potatoes and fresh fruit. I think they also had waffles, bagels and such which we did not try.. I would certainly return to this hotel and recommend it to others.

This is a lovely hotel with warm and friendly staff and in a good location. We sadly only had one night here but our stay here was very good. We enjoyed a nice swim first which was very refreshing and a good break from the sun. The pool was at a good temperature. Our room was very comfortable and we had a good nights sleep. The shower was good and the whole room very clean. We had a couple of drinks at the bar and the staff were very friendly and there was a reasonable choice of drinks. The buff... Read more

Our truck was parked on the end of the building as that was the end our room was in. We went out in the morning to find someone had broken the window out of our truck and rifled through the glove box and center console. Nothing was stolen but just tossed papers and things throughout. And of course we had to go to Jackson to get a new window put in. The hotel assumes no responsibility and the video cameras are only at the front door. They charge for a continental style breakfast when other ... Read more

We stayed here for one night travelling home from our family vacation. The rooms were clean and roomy. Pool is indoor and outdoor so our 6 year old really enjoyed that. Breakfast is not complimentary, but it's only $3.95 for adults and kids eat free. You can't go anywhere else and eat a good breakfast cheaper than that. It was overall a great stay.

My family and I recently stayed here during a difficult week after losing my mom. Although it is 30 minutes away from where she lived, it was worth the drive back and forth across the river. We were able to relax in a clean, quiet, and spacious room each evening. It is conveniently located to food and shopping, if needed, and the price was reasonable. There is a restaurant in house, although I didn't venture outside my room as much to really enjoy it. I heard that it was nice, as well as the Mex... Read more

We stopped in to split our trip to the beach up and this was a wonderful spot. Very typical and modern holiday inn setup, very nice room, almost brand new and the staff was very well trained and friendly, it was located next to a great Mexican food place and was easy on easy off the interstate. We will stay here again.

We were looking for a place to relax on the 4th of July holiday weekend. We found the Holiday Inn in Vicksburg had vacancies so off we went. The hotel is a really modern Holiday Inn. We didn't mind paying premium money for a nice place. The exterior of the building was manicured and clean. The lobby of the hotel was exceptionally clean and had an abundant supply of newspapers for guests. I stopped at 1230 on Saturday to see about the early check-in I had requested. I was told not a single... Read more

Booked 2 rooms with a third party while traveling home from vacation. It is conveniently located off of the interstate. The rooms were spacious and clean and the bed and bedding were comfortable. My son enjoyed the indoor/outdoor pool. Very pleasant stay.

This hotel is clean, comfortable and has great staff. The breakfast was more than a continental breakfast with eggs bacon sausage biscuits gravy and French toast. Will stay here again in the future. The pricing was average but with 4 eating breakfast it is really a great deal.

The room smelled bad, almost like cat urine. Strange. Maybe it's the filter at the AC unit that is in very poor condition. Rooms a little bit outdated but fairly decent. The big problem is the breakfast. They will charge you extra for the breakfast and even then it's not good. The food tastes okay, but a lot of it is cold. The biggest problem is the service, tables doesn't get cleared, when they are cleared they're still crazy greasy and they're slow at filling the buffet. We had to pay full pri... Read more

Used for one night as part of an organised tour of Deep South. Greeted by staff who were always helpful. Room was clean and a good size - comfy bed, and breakfast was included. Enough choices - although at least one guest did mention about a strange smell in her room - probably the air con - but we didn't have any problems.

This was a very nice place to stay. The beds we comfortable. We had a king room. We were on the first floor and looked out on the pool. The staff was very helpful and courteous. We enjoyed the breakfast. They do change it up from what is standard. They have a happy hour at night. Good place for the family to stay.

Clean room. Decent breakfast. Very friendly staff. There is a bar and restaurant in hotel. Very convenient. El Sombrero restaurant adjacent is very good also. One issue Booking.com stated that breakfast was included in room rate, ut was not. Extra 4.95 per person. This has been stated for some time on other reviews. Management should have remedied that by now.

47 in our group. We arrived at about 5pm. The hotel knew we were coming. Most of us stayed for dinner. My sister and I felt it was the worst meal of our trip so far (8 days into our trip). We had to wait an hour for our dinner and unfortunately it wasn't worth waiting for. We wanted a dessert but didn't feel we wanted to stay at the table any longer than necessary. The room is very roomy but there are only two table lamps. And in each lamp there is one bulb (out of two in each) not working so we... Read more

We needed a good, convenient (I-20) hotel in the area and ended up staying here. It was a good decision. It was conveniently located near the interstate, but without all the traffic noise. Good Tex-Mex restaurant adjacent and a decent breakfast at the hotel covered the basic dining needs for our brief stay. The rooms were clean and bed was comfortable. Good option for an overnight stay in Vicksburg.

Stayed for one night, it was a convenient stopover but with a limited bar ,but they allowed you to take your own wine to the dinner table. the food was good but a limited choice, close by there was an off-licence and a Indian / Mexican restaurant. would certainly stay again if in the area.
