Located very close to the Military Park this very clean and neat as a pin Hotel has convinced me to stay in other Holiday Inn Hotels. Fast check-in, free snacks/drinks in the evening and a free breakfast were greatly appreciated and great for the weary traveller. The only issue was some town wide plumbing issues causing havoc with the water but that is outside anyone's control. Not sure why this is only a two star hotel as definitely better than some higher rated hotels we stayed in! Ps. Staff w... Read more

This was a pleasant place to stay. Room was clean, beds were comfy and everything worked. Although the shower head needs some adjusting. The spray pretty much goes everywhere except onto the body and when you adjust the settings there wasn't enough water pressure to flow properly. ( in defence of management if you are reading this. I didn't have the opportunity to bring it up to you but you should check out the shower head in room 335) that was the only issue we had because my wife and daughter ... Read more

The staff at this hotel is very nice and helpfull. They surprised us by having complimentary wine, beer and chicken fajitas until 7.30pm (don't know what time it started but I know it's Monday through Thursday). Amazing! There's an outlet mall just down the road. And some restaurants in the area, that we didn't need because of the free fajitas... The room was large with great beds and free wifi. The breakfast was complimentary and had warm omelts and bacon/sausage. I'd certainly stay here aga... Read more

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Even though it was busy we didn't experience any disturbing noise. The stay was quiet and restful. The breakfast was great and everything was fresh. It was a safe comfortable place to stop for the night while traveling. We would stay again!

bottom line, we will stay here again. Very clean, staff professional, best value we could find. Several features, guest laundry, free breakfast are just a few. Oh, and my wife appreciates that there are 2 mirrors in the room, not just in the bathroom.

We stayed here for one night. It was clean and well maintained. The beds were very comfortable and breakfast buffet was very good. The bathroom showed some wear but was still very nice. We would stay there again. Parking lot is well lit and very secure.

Traveling down I-20, we stopped for the night in Vicksburg. Got a better price at the desk with my AAA than my last minute internet price. Hotels was clean, room nice, bed comfortable, four pillows! Breakfast was good.

Room was clean. Staff wAs friendly and helpful. Although the coffee shop was unattended in the afternoon, the front desk employee came over and made me a coffee. We didn't eat in the restaurant so can't comment on it.

My husband spends about three nights a week at IHG hotels, so he has been to many. During the summer, I try to accompany him on some of his trips. I thought a visit to Vicksburg would be an interesting historical stop, and as usual, we booked a room at HIE. Our room felt very basic; bathroom was small for a suite. But what was very disappointing was the distinct odor by the refrigerator that we minimized by keeping the room at 68 degrees! And unlike most IHG hotels, this one did not have HBO.

This was our last night of our 2 week trip and it didnt disappoint! We love Holiday Inn Expresses and this one was a great one. The lobby was super clean and updated, our room was on the first floor and spacious and smelled really good and we had high ceilings! After 12 hrs on the road the outside pool was perfect. It was a good size and they even had play rings etc in an outdoor basket by the towels. Breakfast is good as usual...the girls did miss not having waffles though.

In spite of the Television and phone not working we had a pleasant stay. The front desk lady came but couldn't fix the television. She offered to move us but since we are only here for one night we declined. The room was clean and quiet. Air conditioning was ice cold

We stayed at this hotel twice in June 2016. The rooms were great both times. This is a great place to stay. There is only two things that I would change. One would be more healthy choices at breakfast and change the chairs in the breakfast area, they are beautiful but not very practical for kids.

Hotel is nice, but not an easy off/on from the Interstate. Staff somewhat helpful. Price very good. Would stay here again. However, we were told that the breakfast was $3.99. After we paid, we found out only the hot foods were $3.99 and the rest of the breakfast was free. If we had been told this up front we would not have paid.

My husband and I had flown into Alabama for a family visit and as we left by car, we stopped in this great town and just stopped at the first place we saw. Wow, did we pick the right place. Very, very friendly, Gail at the front desk was so very helpful and gave us an amazing room, large enough to live in if you had to. Very quiet and really comfortable bed. They serve a "welcome" evening meal that is included, hambergers, hot dogs, and of course a really good breakfast in the morning. Gail... Read more

This Holiday Inn is in a good location. That being said, we found Vicksburg a bit difficult to navigate. Glad we had On Star! The hotel was comfortable and the staff friendly. It had a nice modern decor. The breakfast was a bit above average.

Great hotel. Very good price for the Fourth of July. Staff was so nice and attentive at every turn. The location is awesome to the areas attractions and highway access. Very clean and well kept property. Would recommend this to anyone that is traveling and needs to stay in the area.

We stayed here for one night and found it to be a great hotel. The lobby is tastefully decorated and the rooms are clean. The toiletries provided were higher end. Breakfast is served in the lobby area downstairs. It consisted of the usual continental style breakfast foods plus eggs and sausage. I would recommend this hotel.

Lisa and Gail at the front desk friendly, helpful, always smiling and spoke to everyone. Our room was clean, roomy and quiet. I was worried when we went to our room because it was right beside the ice machine. Not a problem at all. We never heard any noise of any kind. The pool is a salt water pool. I am not sure if it is heated but it was comfortable and not cold. Breakfast was good. Close to main street into downtown and several attractions.

Hotel was very nice. Room was very clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Only disappointment were the pre made cheese omelettes on the hot breakfast bar. Scrambled eggs would have been better for those who can't eat cheese. Would stay here again.

We stayed here in July just overnight. Rooms were clean and the breakfast bar was well stocked. There was the usual hotel breakfast choices with the addition of hot cinnamon rolls. The staff was friendly. We have no complaints. We have stayed here previously with the same nice results.

Our second stay in this property. Clean, nice rooms just off I-20 on the edges of Vicksburg. A very short drive to the Civil War battlefield (not to be missed for Civil War buffs). Also on Frontage Road is a outlet mall with varied shops for your spending pleasure. Ladies at the front desk are nice, friendly and helpful. TV has NO Hi Def channels and that is a shame in this day and age.

My husband and I stayed one night in Vicksburg and chose this hotel mostly because of the favorable reviews. Everything was just great! We are very happy with our stay at this Holiday Inn. I would especially like to give a BIG shout out to Lisa at the registration desk. Her customer skills are PERFECTION! How lucky Holiday Inn is to have Lisa exhibiting her courteous manner dealing with guests! Thank you!!!!!!

This hotel was really comfortable and not too busy, it was clear it was a stop for those who drive lorries all day or do manual labour but that was good. In the evening they provided nachos, chilli and complimentary wine and beer to get people together which I thought was a really nice touch. Thank you for the stay :)

The front desk staff at this hotel were the friendliest folks we met in our two day stay in Vicksburg. Hotel location is convenient to downtown and the battlefield park. Rooms are clean, comfortable and quiet. Breakfast is the usual HIExpress fare - but the attendant is wonderful. Loved the stay

Easy to miss this place, over and over again as it is a tricky off-ramp. Not a bad place to stay - cheap enough for Vicksburg - and no casino next door, which is a bonus. Staff was very nice. Only negative - ran a hold on my credit card and kept it for a month.

Spent one night, room was nice and clean although I had a feeling it needs some renovation, especially beds. Fitness center had a nice equivalent. Staff friendly. Breakfast ok, although coffee was terrible, could not drink but nice coffee machine in the room compensated this problem

The ladies who work at registration were welcoming and helpful. The common areas looked to be newly redecorated. Our room was clean and comfortable, but there was just something that felt off. The hallways seemed dark and slightly dingy. The elevator made a worrying noise. Housekeeping entered the room before we checked out and while I was in the bathroom.
