Reserved room for Thursday and Friday nights. I understand Friday was a weekend rate. I was charged the same rate for Thursday and Friday. I found this out when the front desk attendant quoted a rate to a person who walked up asking about a rate that was less than half the rate I had received with my reservation made two days prior to my stay.

This hotel was great. Very clean. The staff was friendly, even to all the children running around. Everything you needed was right there. They had a laundry room to wash all those dirty jerseys, and a pool to keep kids entertained.

Prices were raised due to graduation at the college! It makes it difficult for people to pay high prices for the night when it is so expensive! The hotel was clean and staff was good! I just feel they should not change prices for specilal events!

We enjoyed the great accommodations and the breakfast. The room was spacious and well designed. When leaving the staff was especially helpful with snacks and directions. We booked Hampton Inns exclusively for our trip.

Have stayed here before and it's always wonderful. It's close to campus and the square. Easy entrance and exit to hotel. It's quiet and comfortable. Breakfast is terrific too! I really love the waffles here. And the fact that there are 4 towels is a bonus since that eliminates having to go to the desk to get more.

Staff very friendly and professional. Room clean. Great location close to everything. Bed comfortable. Room temperature perfect. Internet worked. Plenty of towels. You will be happy with your stay. No strange or odd smells like some hotel rooms.

2 days before Cheer Camp, my daughter decided she wanted me to go with her! I had to make last minute reservations. I booked a room with a hotel that I was uneasy about. When I got there, it was horrible. I refused it & went to the Hampton Inn as a last resort. Everything in town was booked. Diamond, at the Hampton Inn desk, listened & calmed my nerves. She told me not to worry & found me a room. The room was large & perfectly clean. The breakfast was expansive & had more than I expected. It was... Read more

Mean and rude staff. Do not ask them for anything unless you like being treated like crap. Extra towels are a No. Cups in the room..No. extra bonus is the front desk manager doesn't care either. Being a hilton honors member doesnt carry any weight either.

Diamond saved my night! She was professional, courteous and very sympathetic to my situation. i had just left a roach motel, Quality inn and suites. I was in town for Ole Miss orientation with my daughter. Everything was booked but she found me a suite. We were more than happy with everything the hotel offers. The staff was friendly and the room was immaculate! i truly enjoyed the 2 nights we were there. felt right at home!

Visited Oxford, MS for a family reunion on Sardis Lake. My wife and I lodged at the Hampton Inn-Oxford; which has an awesome staff. And it is located on the main strip (Jackson Ave.) which is a stones throw from Ole Miss and a plethora of restaurants and stores.

I had previously made reservations at a hotel down the road from this one and they failed to inform me of their age policy when I booked it online. So there I was, an 18 year old traveling alone hours from home and had nowhere to stay. I went to this hotel the Hampton Inn and Diamond was super nice and found me a room last minute and for a great rate. Very friendly staff. Awesome accommodations and outstanding complimentary breakfast with omelettes, ham, yogurt, biscuits, ect. No complaints. Had... Read more

Depending on the time of year, this hotel costs too much. This date in mid August was apparently a busier time, and the $180+ rate I paid was overpriced for what it offers, by about $80. The pool area was not that clean, and just so you know- the 'hot tub' apparently will never be operational. The rooms are clean enough and the breakfast is great. The people are very friendly. I have stayed a few times in Oxford and here, and this is not a bad economical option usually, however this time I was g... Read more

Stayed three weeks here. Had a different room each week. They were always clean. Free breakfast at 6 am. Friendly staff with shuttle service. Although the parking was a little tight there was always room. Three good restaurants with in walking distance. And a CVS across the street.

I stay here almost every time I'm in Oxford because it's such a perfect location for me; super close to the Ole Miss campus, and positioned right in the middle of a bunch of restaurants. You've got everything you need right there within a 1/2 mile or so. As for the hotel itself, it's a middle of the road Hampton Inn. Average cleanliness, the staff is okay, they don't see all that fired up to be working there, but they are still friendly and accommodating enough. Overall, I stay here because ... Read more

Popped in late after a long day of meetings & driving - parking lot was packed; seemed small & crowded - found a space & had a fast check-in with no hassle. What one would expect in a traditional Hampton Inn. The Hampton beds are usually great & this one put me to sleep quickly. I was out early back on the road & feeling revived. Consistency goes a long way in meeting my typical business travel overnight accommodations. Thanks Hampton Inn Oxford West!

Excellent overall experience. Great accommodations! Room was clean and very comfortable. The staff were very friendly. When my wife and I arrived Friday night, we were greeted at the front desk with smiles. Check in was very fast and easy. The hotel shuttle driver was at the front desk as well. He gave us his contact information as was the nicest most friendly guy you could be around. When we got to our room, it wasn't too hot or too cold, just perfect. The room was as clean as it could possibly... Read more

This hotel must be older. Please note to check the shower seats before sotting on them if you are handicapped. I am not but was placed in a handicap room. I am a nurse and noticed the seat in the shower was busting out of the tile. Definitely a safety hazard. My room did not feel clean or comfy. I was up most of the night. I am an HHonors member and this hotel is way overpriced for the quality.

I wasn't blown away, but it was very clean and the bed was comfortable. I was annoyed there was no iron/ironing board. Other than that, no complains. This hotel is a nice choice for someone wanting a basic stay in a very clean hotel.

We were here for a campus visit at Ole Miss. The staff greeted us with a smile and we chatted as they checked us in. They were very friendly. There were cookies and coffee available in the lobby area. The room was clean, smelled clean, etc. We had no problems. Comfortable beds I didn't want to get out of the next morning. Making arrangments to stay at this hotel was easy. I liked the reminders. The staff was great. The room and hotel were clean. Breakfast was nutritous but lukewarm. Pool was clean but cold. I liked that they had fresh coffee on tap 24/7 as well as fruit and cookies. They also had newspapers.

I hesitate to write this, as it is already difficult to get a room at this Hampton Inn. It is simply the best. I have stayed at a variety of higher priced and similarly priced hotels in Oxford and no one runs a cleaner, friendlier, more efficient hotel. As is the case in SEC college towns, you will pay top dollar (close to 400 a night) during football weekends and see the rates cut in half during week. However, you will find southern hospitality at it finest here. At one of the best locations in... Read more

From check-in till check-out, this hotel and staff was tip-top. Very professional staff, clean rooms and not too far from the Square. Darryl, the shuttle driver, dropped us off and picked us up from the square as well as after the game. The manager himself even took us to the Oxford airport on Sunday, as we flew in private for the game. We stay here every Egg Bowl with around 15 family members and it's always been a good experience. Great job.

The Egg Bowl was a disaster, but the staff at the Hampton Inn West - Oxford made the trip worthwhile. We think this place is great! The room was clean and quiet, the breakfast was delicious and ready early that morning. The front desk staff was very helpful and made us feel welcomed. Housekeeping took care of us, just like were at home. We plan to stay with these folks again whenever we come to Oxford.
