We stayed here after riding the tanglefoot trail. The room was very nice and clean. There were no smells of air fresheners anywhere. This is vert important to me as I suffer from asthma. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Staff was extremely nice and accommodating.

Very nice and clean room. We were late checking in because of the weather we encountered, the desk clerk was very timely, courteous, and quick getting us checked in so we could get a few hours rest. Breakfast was what one would expect but they also had bacon which was a treat. Another positive is this hotel is right off the interstate and convent if passing thru enroute to Your destination.

Check-in time at the hotel was 3:00 pm, but I arrived at 2:00 pm. My family and I had been on the road since 3:00 am, so when we stopped at the hotel we wanted to have a good rest so that we can continue our journey at 3:00 am the next day. When we arrived, our rooms were not ready. We waited for one room to be ready 3 hours after we arrived. The other room was not ready until 7:00 pm. In addition, other guests who arrived after us received their rooms before we did. I was really not happy about... Read more

This hotel is a good place to stay, but I think it's time to do more maintenance to the tub drains and toilets. The staff is extremely helpful and pleasant. If there were no other hotels in the area to stay, we would stay at this hotel again. Recommended for short-stay.

I stayed here with a wedding party recently and had an awful experience. We drove up from Jackson and I called the morning of to find out if we could get an early check-in so we could get ready for the wedding at the hotel. If they didn't we'd just get ready at home and then drive up in our church clothes. The lady said the room would be ready early, so we get started on the 3 hours drive. We arrive and the room's not ready - my nightmare when you're planning to get ready for a wedding and y... Read more

We enjoy all the Hampton Inns we stay in. They run circles around every "roadside" hotel chain. But this one, much to our surprise, serves free dinner during the week. The night we were there, they had a pot roast dinner that was very good and also served beer, water and juice. Then they passed around war, fresh cheese danish. Yoiu cant beat the value of this place.

I stayed at this Hampton Inn back in 2012 and was looking forward to staying again this weekend. The service was horrible! Room service did not come and clean our room at all. The cleaned the rooms of our other family members. They said we had the "do not disturb" sign posted when we clearly didn't. Instead of them saying "sorry, we made a mistake" they pretty much said we lied and that their cleaning staff was telling the truth. For this area this is one of the "nicer" hotels. The hotel was conveniently located right off the highway and close to restaurants. The hotel was very busy during our stay and there was only 1 person working the front desk which made the waiting time longer than I'd liked after traveling for 8 hours. The thermostat for the air conditioning in the room did NOT work, which made sleeping very uncomfortable. We didn't bother to call the front desk since it was already 11PM and we didn't want to deal with someone checking on it or moving rooms si... Read more

Two things matter to me when I book a hotel: cleanliness and breakfast offerings. For $141.00 I expected a clean, comfortable room. I found hair on my bed, the shower curtain was dirty and made the entire restroom smell like mold, and the trash had not been emptied. Upside is that breakfast was pretty good. The area was clean and well-serviced. There was scrambled eggs, bacon, French toast sticks, oatmeal, pastries, fresh fruit, and the regulars of yogurts and cereals. I really appreciated the b... I love a Hampton, usually. This location is built right on top of the highway and the onramp. It was soooooooooo noisy it was hard to sleep, even after a nightcap. On top of the noise I don't think the mattress was the usual Hampton quality. It was very firm, very firm. The comforter on top was super plush, so if you don't want a cover you could sleep on top of that. The bathroom and room in general was very clean. The only exception is the caulk for the shower pan was moldy. See pics. ... Read more
