On the way to Texas, this is a halfway point for me. The La Quinta Inn Moss Point is Dog friendly. What a great place. Minimally off the beaten path, but still convenient, the hotel is clean, with friendly staff. Great deal through AARP. Be advised the is a completely SMOKE FREE hotel!

This was my first La Quinta stay and I was very pleased. The front desk staff was very friendly, the room and grounds were clean and well maintained, the rates are affordable, the breakfast was good and lacked nothing, and my dog was welcome there. That rates an A+ in my book!

Very nice hotel with a wonderful, friendly staff. Since I have two shelties who travel with me to agility trials, I love the way pets are accepted and welcomed at this location. Only downside this trip was a heavy fish smell outside. There is a processing plant in the vicinity that was in heavy operation. The aroma is hard to miss. Not the hotels fault, of course.

Very clean motel - staff was exceptionally courteous and helpful. Very well maintained. Beds are very comfortable. Breakfast buffet is excellent - including eggs/sausage/bacon. Will definitely be back!

This was a very nice place to stay with a great staff. The only drawback was the breakfast made me sick - apparently the eggs & sausage have gluten as a binding agent. We love this smoke-free facility.

We were on our way from Florida to New Orleans and was looking for a place to stop over and we generally look for La Quinta's because we travel with our dog. Looked at some reviews and "off the beaten path" made me think it was a little ways off the interstate, however it is located immediately off I10. For the rate we payed it was terrific. The room was very spacious for a hotel room and was clean. The lady that checked me in was helpful and check out was just the same. They appear to be under... Read more

Bad attitude of staff is compounded with a faulty elevator, malfunctioning toilet and dirty facility. When reporting issues to the staff, please look outside first to see if they are on a smoke break.

This is a great hotel if you are looking for a place to pull off the road for a night or two. It is close off of I-10 but not so close that traffic becomes a distraction in the room. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. I will be staying again on my return trip.

The staff was great as well as the room. The room was very spacious and very clean. The hotel is close to many places to eat and to fill your tank. We would have liked to use the pool but there was a family reunion at the hotel and the pool area it was completely packed. That was the only drawback of this stay.

Sheets and surly AM desk personnel and was an odor in. room when I walked in. The hotel overall was not that bad but it is an aging property and will have problems and I think this is where the odor problem came in to play.

We stayed one night. The hotel was an easy off and on to Interstate 10. The staff was very friendly and warm. The bed was comfortable and the room clean and quiet. I would stay here again for sure. We traveled with our dog who stayed free.

First time to the location and we enjoyed the stay, the room was clean, desk was helpful, breakfast was very good and the pool was clean. Slept well with no noise and comfortable beds. Ample parking and dog walk areas. Various restaurants available in 1 mile area and right on the I-10 exit/entrance We will stay here again and since it is pet friendly with no extra charges we would bring our furkids too.

This was an inexpensive option for an overnight stay between Pensacola and New Orleans. The rooms were clean, and the staff was friendly. The breakfast was just okay. There was an odor in the rooms and out by the pool. I'm not sure why. I would probably stay here again, but I would bring some essential oils or candles. The wifi was free but didn't work very well.

I made reservations at this hotel while visiting my son. I was ok till I got to the floor I was staying on and it had a moldy mildew smell. I opened the door and was knocked back. I requested another room. We went to the next room and were ok till I again I started coughing and was getting sick. The pictures show the active mold in the place. We went through 5 room till I found one that was just ok. Now for the staff issues. If you like to wait till the staff is done on there personal calls on ... Read more

Stayed at the Hotel on Labor Day weekend. Hotel is a little outdated , but very clean and the Staff is very friendly . Our room was facing the interstate , but was very quite. AC actually cold down the room to the temperature I wanted it..Not to often that you find that in a Hotel.

This was the worst hotel I have ever been in. The rooms were smelly and not that clean. We had two rooms. One room smelled very strongly of pet cleaners. Overpowering. The other room had a strong moldy smell. The clerk said there was a dog show over the weekend and were short handed because two maids did not show up for work. Then stated the manager was on vacation. He took 3$ off the dog smell room and said he doesn't think other smelled 'bad'. We asked him if we could get the humidifier from ... Read more

Hotel was nice. Very clean and room was great. At check in the clerk was sitting in her car and had to come in to check us in. We then had trouble with our key card unlocking our door. No one was at the front desk clerk was back out in her car on her cell phone again. Breakfast as OK need some more fruit options. The lady that set up breakfast was very nice!

I was not happy with this hotel. We orginally booked this hotel because it was pet friendly. Even though we decided against travelling with our pet, we kept the reservation. I wish we hadn't. The staff was not very friendly, the breakfast provided was terrible, and the hotel was not easy to get to from the highway. I would not stay here again.
