Well I'm sorry to say that this was way below the normal standard of Hampton Inn, despite the happy greeting we got, and the helpful staff. The hotel, i think is in need of a 'make over' especially as the beautiful Garden Inn was next door. As there was no Laundry Room and the outdoor pool was empty we had to go next door to do laundry & swim, so we ate there too. Although the rooms and beds were clean at the Hampton, it just seemed 'dingy'.If we come back we will book in the Garden inn!

The hotel was clean and new in appearance; very comfortable and welcoming. The staff was friendly, helpful, and made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was excellent, and the timing gave guests options for an early morning or to sleep in a bit. We enjoyed our stay tremendously.

Average place to stay if just passing through, antiquated facility. Breakfast was average at best, night staff was more concerned with cell phone/text message than customer at check-in, landscaping overgrown and obstructing sidewalk, was forced to walk in the vehicle passageway, placing family in potential harm, and dark/poor lighting in parking area's, potential for personal harm or vehicle break-in.

I stay at a lot of Hampton Inns and this is a very good one. I like that at most of them when I call and book a room I am talking to someone on the property. People were friendly, place was clean, easy to get to and service was great!

Typical Hampton. I was disappointed in two things: unlike some of the others, I had to show my credit card(the one they had on file, (I am a Hilton Honors member), and had to sign and initial paperwork, and they don't have laundry on site. In fact, laundry is next door at their sister hotel, a Hilton Garden Inn. I admit it wasn't terribly inconvenient. Hampton Inn shower heads tend to be the kind that get mineralized by hard water, making them less effective. The fitness center was clean, ... Read more

Booked this while on a long drive. I used to always count on Hamptons being well appointed. While the staff did a great job the facility was quite worn and in need of an update. While the room was clean and everything worked, it was dark (even with the lights on) and showed many signs of wear. The staff is the only good thing about my stay.

The Hampton Inn's are always very nice, staff is helpful and you will get a good night's rest due to staff who run these Inn's. The locations are very convenient and with breakfast you can be on your way in a matter of a few minutes. The Inn's are very clean, quite and you get what you pay for.

We had a death in the family and had to drive all night. We called the Hampton and they assured us that a room would be waiting for us first thing in the morning so that we may rest. When we arrived around 8 a.m. there was no room for us and were told that it may be afternoon before a room would be ready. We were beyond exhausted but there was nothing to be done about it. Room was nice, when we finally got in it.

This hotel is in need of some renovations. The room was pretty dated. The shower head only worked after I fiddled with the lever for awhile. The bed was comfortable. Stopped here on our way to Gulf Shores and was not disappointed. It was convenient to the highway and had some great places to eat just across the street. Rooms were very clean and beds were great. We had the free breakfast and loved the waffle bar, not too much for meat eaters but the kids and I loved it. The pool was a great place to relax in the evening. This was the wrong weekend to have only 1 elevator operational. We had long waits for the elevator every time we needed it, once we waited 10 minutes. It is a bit amazing to me that this Hampton inn has actually passed brand inspections! No welcome as a diamond member, no pantry, hallways and doors dirty and damaged, seriously old smelly carpet, looks like an airfresher was stuck in the air conditioning to try to hide the mildew smell. I might reconsider if they do a full update, but otherwise I will not select this site again

This was without a doubt the worst Hampton Inn that we have ever stayed in. If the faded sign with burned out bulbs hadn't said Hampton Inn, I would never have expected it to really be a Hampton Inn, in which we have stayed many times. This location needs serious renovation and cleaning.

passing through on way to Alabama but had to stop. Made room reservation by calling toll-free line and got a room about 7pm. Room was very clean and comfortable. Hotel is part of Hilton network. Elevator was somewhat slow. Hot breakfast was decent and complimentary. My only concern was that I felt it was overpriced and having Hilton membership didn't help. Check out was 12pm. Awesome experience, ultra clean, excellent complimentary breakfast - best of my many(hundreds) of Hampton stays, relatively quiet and an overall impression that management was seriously trying to one up the adjoining Garden Inn next door.
