staff is very helpful and friendly, free breakfast is great with a wide variety of items, very clean facility, comfortable big rooms, nice business computer center and work out room, also great pool, TV set-up could be better, safe location with quick access to the highway, great place to stop when passing through Magee or staying to visit relatives

The room was spacious and clean. I liked the big shower head, however if your under 6 feet you'll have trouble turning it since it's about 7 feet high (the desk told me all the rooms are that way). The bathroom was fine, but the lighting was too weak - hard to see when I was shaving. I told the desk, but after my checkout so they didn't have a chance to fix. there's a bunch of restaurants within a few blocks. I recommend Zipps cafe for burgers.

Nice hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was warm and good for the usual hotel breakfast choices. Price was a little high for the area and the fact that is was not the nicest Holiday inn I've been to. Pool only, no hot tub.

After staying in the past two times at the #1 rated hotel in Magee and with mixed results on my last stay, I decided to switch things up this time and try the Holiday Inn. All in all my stay was very comfortable, quiet and relaxing. I do agree that the lighting in the bath is a little too dim for shaving and such and I even took the liberty to replace the light bulb in the fixture above the tub and left the maintenance staff a note. Nice bed with comfortable pillows and a nice size TV. Internet... Read more

Our room was very clean, neatly appointed, and there were no sounds coming through the walls from adjacent rooms. We stayed 2 nights and enjoyed breakfast two mornings. Overall, this is a decent hotel worth staying in. It is conveniently located across the street from an excellent seafood buffet restaurant.

I called central reservations 1 week prior to our visit to book 2 connecting rooms. They told me they would request it, but for me to call the hotel 2 days prior to our date to see if they can accommodate us. After finalizing the reservations, I immediately called the hotel directly and spoke with Peggy. She told me she could reserve my connecting rooms now and even quoted me a lower price. I'm an IHG member and was very disappointed with central reservations handling of this reservation, bu... Read more

I've stayed at the Holiday Inn, Magee on several ocassions and most times, it has been a good stay in a small town with very limited rooming options. I spent the night June 26, 2016 in room 110, king with small fridge. The room was clean, spacious, DirectTV cable. However, when I entered the room, it smelled as if it needed to be aired-out, kinda stuffy. I needed to go to the Walmart right behind the hotel, so I bought air freshener and a Renuzit. This helped until later into the night whe... Read more

My family and I stayed a weekend at the Magee holiday inn for my son's baseball tournament. This was our second stay in 3 years there. We stayed on the first floor in a king room. It was roomy, had a clean bathroom, plenty of plug ins, closet space that came in handy for putting things out of the way, a nice full length mirror, the bed was comfortable and it also had enough room to blow up a single air mattress with plenty of room to move around. The breakfast was fine and the staff was extra fr... Read more

Always great! Bed was comfy and breakfast was surprisingly good!! Nice and clean! We always chose this one in Magee. Worth the extra cost. Sheets were clean and bed was cozy. And of course the staff was too notch. Parking was a breeze too. I need to add more characters here for some strange reason and find that annoying.

Usually Holiday Inn's are a good place to stay. Not here the hotel is old the beds are the worse I've ever slept in. They got one star for at least being clean. No breakfast unless you want to go to their restaurant down stairs which is tiny at best. The swimming pool matches the rest tiny.

If you get a room stay away from the top floor. They probably had a bad roof leak, the ceilings show there was damage and the rooms smell to MILDEW!! We told the lady at the front desk and she gave us another room that smelled just as bad..

Staff was very friendly. Clean rooms. AC worked great. Comfortable beds. Quiet. All on all a wonderful stay and a great nights rest. Just one thing, not taking any points off but some people might need to know. This hotel is in a dry county and it is illegal to bring alcohol into your room or consume alcohol anywhere in county. So, no night cap after that road trip here.

This was our first stay at this hotel. Room was clean, air worked well and bed was fairly comfortable. There was no coffee available in the lobby area during the evening. Also, breakfast wasn't ready until 7 a.m. and there was no coffee available until then. There was a coffee pot in the room but not ample supplies. Other than that, the hotel was ok.

I picked this hotel for no other reason than the fact that I have always had really good luck with this chain, and we were very tired and needed a place to lay our heads. This location did not disappoint. The mattresses were extremely comfortable as were the pillows. Every part of the hotel that we visited was very very clean. The wifi was fast and reliable. The coffee in the room was good, and the room was stocked as it should have been. The only negative was the price, as walking in late... Read more

Stopped for the night. Nice accommodations. We did not use a lot and the pool was out of commission. People were very nice and friendly. Right off Hwy 49 it is very accessible. The morning buffet opened at 6 but we were back on the road.
