I have stayed at many Residence Inn's through the years. I am not complaining about the room because I'm not the one that actually stayed in this hotel, I just paid for it. Knowing the process, I reached out to the front desk and provided them the required forms that they required. I provided them them the credit card number that they were to use to pay for the room. I got a text message at 10:30pm from my daughter stating that my card was declined. NO WAY! I called and spoke with Kelly at the ... Read more

The hotel has been renovated (or some parts have been?) so it was very comfortable. We had two rooms and both were nice. The breakfast was hot and very good. Seating is slightly limited in the atrium for breakfast, but that is ok. The service was very nice, and all staff I encountered were friendly, helpful, and smiling. The desk was ready to help if you needed anything and asked how our stay was on the way out. Would return.

When traveling on business as a single female, I'm picky about where I stay. Hattiesburg used to be home so I know the area and the Residence Inn was my home away from home for 2 weeks recently. I always felt safe, enjoyed the evening mixer but didn't do breakfast. The studio room was very comfortable and clean. My granddaughter stayed with me one night and accidentally left a necklace with a small diamond on the floor in the bathroom. Housekeeping left it on the nightstand with a note and ... Read more

After our home was flooded for the 2nd time in 2 weeks, my family and I found ourselves at the Residence Inn for a 4 night stay. We stayed in a one bedroom suite, which was perfect for us with 2 small children. Had no problems at check in! The director of sales was very accommodating and gave us a great room on the second floor. The room was very clean; housekeeping staff was quite attentive and thoughtful throughout our stay, leaving extra towels each day. The breakfast was wonderful! Hotel i... Read more

What a great hotel to stay a night or a month. Great service, rooms(suites) are roomy and clean with a kitchen and fridge. Breakfast is complimentary buffet, and the best of its kind. Early in the week they have a reception with beer wine and some food, and it is really well done. The employees are all great, and Dawn the manager sets a customer service tone with them all. I've traveled all over the world, and this is one of my favorite hotels for the value, the customer service and care.

My husband and I stayed here during our recent trip to Hattiesburg on family business. We travel with our dog and have difficulty finding nice accommodations. We arrived at 10pm on our fist night and were greeted by a pretty, friendly, and professional front desk clerk who seemed to truly love her job and exuded hospitality. Our suite was newly decorated and perfectly appointed with every possible amenity. There was even a small (albeit artificial) flower arrangement on my granite-topped nig... Read more

I travel to Hattiesburg frequently for business & always stay at the Residence Inn, primarily for the staff. They always make me feel welcome and valued as a guest (and as a guest - not a customer). All the staff is great, but I have to call out Thomas as one of my favorite associates. He is personable, warm and professional. I am particularly impressed with how often he gives that extra effort to make a stay memorable.

I booked 25 rooms for a business retreat. Everything went really smooth. From booking, organized check in, breakfast, happy hour, etc. Very clean rooms!! We would definitely book with Residence Inn again!

This is one of the best extended stay hotels I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. Everything you need is here and within your budget. If you are like me and hate small cramped hotel rooms, this is the place for you. Let's say it's raining and you don't want to get out of bed to forge for food. Well, they will shop for you and deliver the food right to your door. There is a full size refrigerator, dishes, pots, pans, storage bowls, silverware, and even a dish washer. You can cook your ... Not much remarkable about the place but it's clean and fairly new. Good location and normally priced right but it can spike when USM has an event. The breakfast area is a little small and shaped in a way that bunches everyone together so is a hassle. Overall you won't be disappointed if you know what a residence in is supposed to deliver.

We met our son here to pick up our grandkids and decided to spend the night. We had the 2 bedroom suite and a sofa bed which was perfect for our family. The hotel is also pet friendly with $100 non-refundable fee. The staff was courteous and the room was clean. Its close to a a number of franchise restaurants which was perfect. Breakfast in the morning was great with a great selection.

My husband, 2 daughters and I stayed one night at the Residence Inn in Hattiesburg. The rate was affordable. I think we paid about $125 for a 2-room suite. Mom and Dad got the bedroom, and the girls slept on the pull-out couch. There was a kitchenette with a full-size refrigerator, small stove, microwave and dishes available. That was nice. The pool is an outdoor salt water pool. We were there in June, and we were the only ones in the pool area at 9 PM. It was nice. The beds were quite u... Read more

I am staying here as we speak. House keeping left a full trash can in my room the day of arrival and no tissue in the bathroom, missed day day. Its LOUD as hell. I have asked for a new room and was refused. TERRIBLE stay. I am gong to switch to the Hampton across the street and give it a go. Damn shame, seemed like a nice hotel, bad management, lazy staff, and a soon to be crappy and unclean hotel.

I like it be right off the highway and close to restaurants yeah being right across the parking lot from the movies is a plus. The rooms were good I had a fully furnished suite. Breakfast wasn't many options. The laundry room was sufficient. Adequate parking the lobby was okay. They had a court outside an a pool that were pretty good additions.

We stayed here for one night after us having to make a detour from Baton Rouge due to flooding there. The hotel receptionist was lovely and welcoming and we were allocated a massive studio room with king bed, kitchen and separate seating area. The room was immaculate and very comfortable. Really loved the packet of popcorn left for us to cook in the microwave, The room had everything and more that you could need including a safe. Breakfast was fine but was definitely lacking in pastries... Read more

Stayed for one night. This is a decent enough hotel. The suites are nice and roomy, and include a kitchenette. The staff is very nice. However, the walls seemed paper thin. I'm a light sleeper as it is, so I had a lot of trouble getting sleep. It didn't even seem like other guests were being overly noisy - simple things like walking, running water, and the TV were traveling through the walls and waking me up. The breakfast included was fine, the usual fare - scrambled eggs, Canadian bacon, turk... Read more

We stopped here on our way to Houston for my wife's new job. Room was neat and clean. Kitchen area and shower area made the stop feel like home. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast in the morning was perfect for what we needed to get going for the rest of our trip. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone passing through or staying a few nights.

My two adult kids and I stayed here for two nights during a Southern Miss football weekend. We got a two bedroom suite. I got a bedroom, my son and toddler had the other. My daughter slept on the sleeper sofa. Each bedroom had its own bathroom. The room was great. Plenty of room and privacy. Breakfast was good. Will stay here again.....

Jennifer was so helpful and friendly while getting me booked on an almost sold out night. We were in town very early. She watched our bags before check in and called us as soon as our room was available! As usual, our room was clean and comfortable.
