The staff was accommodating at every turn, and the hotel had the expected facilities. There is a renovation and modernization underway, being worked on section by section. We were not disturbed by the work. The hotel functioned well, including the free breakfast area and the very active pool.We received special attention from the front desk, where the staff was friendly and helpful. When we asked to extend our stay on the busy 7/4 weekend, they did their best to help us. We appreciate their... Read more

Its just ok. Im a big hhonors diamond points holder and this place was just ok but the hilton garden inn would be my preference. In both cases it is very convenient to i-59, the university, and tons of plaves to dine so it is close to a lot of stuff.

This new Hampton Inn in Hattiesburg is state of the art and beautiful. 9/2/2016 2nd day open and it should be this way. Totally different concept then previous ones. Snack room to purchase snacks & beverages, including beer. Contemporary design & colors! Glad I took a chance. Will be #1 in Hattiesburg in no timeū???ū???ū??? Built in conjunction & adjoins Home 2 Suites!

The hotel is very nice. The staff was nice as well. We ordered a crib that we could not put together. It would have been nice if they were able to offer more assistance in putting it together. The hotel was built in a good location and it was very convenient for us. We had to stay overnight because we had car issues so the location was close to the highway and close to a lot of restaurants and shopping.

I know it's a new setup but this is the WORST Hilton experience I've had. Brand new building and no testing of systems. Air set to 76 degrees in the room.....in the South and it's hot and humid. TV cable/satellite doesn't work. They moved me to the Hilton Home 2 Suite.....same thing and the home suites are a joke. Very disappointing visit and not what I've come to expect from Hilton. Will NOT be back here again ever......

Definitely would stay here again! Staff was extremely friendly and a great resource for restaurant picks. Everything still smells like new. Also, two breakfast areas were great. One appeared to be more healthy than the other.

Made a visit to this property on its third day of operation. Its really a great property. The staff was very friendly and professional, but a little ovetwhelmed. Its kind of tuff to take on a number of tournament bound youth soccer players during your first week of operation....not to mention normal traveling guest. This property is right off the interstate and neighbor to a number of great eateries. The pool was not ready during this visit so guest did not have a chance to enjoy that area. The ... Read more

Brand new hotel in central location with an abundance of dining options. First "shared" property I have stayed at as this location is in the same building as the Home2Suites by Hilton. Had made a late reservation and no King bed was available but the cleanliness, staff service and overall great facility was more than enough.

Love, love this new hotel. We frequently visit Hattiesburg and have stayed at numerous hotels there. This new facility is wonderful. We have never stayed at a property where two different hotels are connected. The Hilton Home2Suites is connected to the Hampton. The two share elevators but have separate lobbies and breakfast areas. You may eat in either one! The snack shops are well stocked on both sides as well. The staff were helpful and smiling all the time. Room was very nice and clean.... Read more

They use LED lights at this hotel! No awful CFLs! Being brand new, of course all the furniture and fixtures were nice. The room layout was good, and the location was convenient to what I was in town to do. The staff were basically the poster children for friendly, professional customer service. I would highly recommend, and stay there again.

Stayed here for business, and will again in the future. Had the standard style hotel room, not the larger suite. Plenty large for my needs. Hotel still nearly new. Bathroom large. Built in night light a nice touch. Rooms have a small refrigerator and microwave, nice touch. TONS of plug receptacles and extra USB ports. Bed may be most comfortable I've ever had a hotel. Two different complimentary breakfast areas with some variety between the two. Cereal, oatmeal, waffles, fresh fruit, s... Read more

This hotel has recently opened and like all new places, needs some refining. Our room was comfortable --with the expected luxurious bedding and linens--always a good nights sleep!! Except for the traffic noise from the interstate-/so ask for a room in back!! Also for some reason, our room(416)had a strange bedside table--it was totally different from the other pieces and looked like a "make do" piece--you could see holes in the wall through the cubbies--and the caulking around the tub was incons... NICE brand new spiffy Hampton Inn but they combined this with a "Home 2 Suites" which is another Hilton brand. Home 2 Suites is sort of like a Mini Cooper....cutting edge, eclectic and artsy. Hampton Inn is simply value. So do not get combining a "Chevrolet" with a Mini Cooper??! Some Marketing person must have thought this up over a few cocktails but NICE property nonetheless...night and day compared to the dumpy old Hampton Inn.

This is a new Hampton Inn/Home2Suites facility in Hattiesburg, MS. It has been open about 2 months now. Everything was very nice. Room was clean and spacious. Plenty of room in the bathroom too. We had a room away from the highway-facing side based on suggestions from another review and had no issues with outside noise. Staff was welcoming and helpful. Will definitely stay again. Only downside is hotel does not allow pets except in Suites side with expensive deposit for short stays ($75/stay). C... Read more

Great new hotel, connected to a Home2 by Hilton. Desk lady was over-the-top nice. Clean, crisp, and bright inside. The decorum was grey/pink on the floor and curtains. Huge high-def TV in the room. Electricity and USB plugs everywhere‚?¶ 5 by the desk and 4 on each side of the bed. A road warriors dream! Large bathroom with plenty of counter space. Good chow nearby, walking distance. Check in did not go well- had to go to Home 2 Suites side to get checked in-- went to room, keys did not work so had to go back to desk. I am not a fan of the new rooms- too many jutting out items that you can run into. Bed was comfortable and breakfast was very good.

This is a well run Hampton Inn with extremely helpful staff. Good size room, comfortable bed, nice breakfast. Unfortunately it is not well situated for light sleepers since it is very close to the highway and we could still hear the noise of the traffic in a room on the far side from the highway However, one of the staff came and helped us adjust the fan so that we had that noise mask the noise of the traffic.

The bad first. Loud traffic noise. Right on the interstate. Even after changing rooms and moved from one side of the hallway to the other. Not escaping it. Light sleepers, beware. We did not have an extra chair in the room. The lights were really dim for reading. If you dislike bathroom barn doors this is not the place for you. This hotel shares a common wall with a Hilton so look carefully when you enter. We both had a problem with our beds, there was a dip on the edges, causing us to feel unse... Read more
