The hotel is in a great location; 1.5 miles from the Biloxi/Gulfport Airport, 1/2 a mile from the I-10 freeway, and less than 5 miles from Highway 90, which is on the Gulf of Mexico. There are abundant restaurants and shopping nearby, in fact; there is an IHOP and an Arby's just outside the front door. The hotel provides a hot breakfast buffet, and it's quite ample; fruit, juices, cereal, eggs, sausage, coffee... You can also purchase a few snack items like sodas and candy in the lobby. The ... Rooms were very nice. The staff was very helpful when asked questions about the local area. This hotel is about an hour and half away from New Orleans. IHOP is next door. The best thing about this hotel is location to Nola. There is nothing to do in Gulfport. There are CSinosabout 20 minutes away which is the other big draw. The only complaint was the lack of daily minimal service of emptying the trash cans and replacing used glasses. But mostly everything else was ok.

Glad this is just for overnight. This hotel badly needs updating (I hope I don't have nightmares about the low popcorn ceilings and dreary drapes). The pool was out of order also. Staff was not friendly. If you're used to quality Marriott hotels--do not choose this one!

I stayed two nights at this hotel in March 2016. When checking out, I could not get a receipt because the hotel's printer was not working. The clerk told me the parts should arrive soon and I will receive my receipt in an e-mail. To make it short, four days passed, I received nothing. I e-mailed Ms. Pamela Lady, the manager, hoping she could help me but no respond. Another e-mail was sent to her the next day. Again, nothing happened. I am totally appalled by their indifference to their c... Read more

Passing thru on way to Houston. Really made to feel welcome. Staff was excellent and friendly. Hotel was spotless and located near I 10. Would definitely stay again. One of the best Fairfield's we've been to.

I love a Marriott property but this one needs an upgrade. Our check-in process was a little difficult because we wanted to pay cash for our room, the lady at the front desk was not aware of the policy and made us use a credit card.. So aggravating! When we arrived to the room, it was nice and cool, my compliant as are there aren't any queen size beds, only full size beds and that was not accommodating for our group of four. There is a dehumidifier in the room but it was so loud at night! The... Read more

We stayed here overnight on a trip from Texas back home to Atlanta. It was a decent hotel. Clean, comfortable beds. The complementary breakfast was also decent. Nothing great, nothing bad to report. A good stopover hotel. The area has hard water, so if you're not used to that, it takes a bit longer to shower.

Stayed with family for one night on way to vacation. This was above average for this star level hotel. Not sure where so many complaints are coming from. They are currently in progress of updating this location. Our room had been nicely updated. Spacious clean room for an oversized King room. Hotel staff friendly and helpful. The area is a bit congested, but had no problems with noise. Breakfast was fair, they had issue with keeping hot food hot. Overall great value for nice accommodations.

The room was clean. Average decent hotel. They are in the process of remodeling which is good. There was a dehumidifier in the room. The air in the room was musty smelling. I didn't understand why there was not a microwave in the room. Breakfast was typical as most provide the basic hot and cold food items. Breakfast area is a little small for such a large hotel. Nice gym and pool

I stayed the weekend of July 15 - 17. The associate Josh at the check in/out counter was very helpful. He recognized my Platinum Elite lever and upgraded me to a King Suite without me even requesting it. Our room was spacious and clean. The only complaint I could have was that the elevator never seemed to be vacuumed during my stay.

Nice place to stay close to interstate for early morning departure. Friendly staff and good breakfast. Room was clean. Only 5 - 10 minutes to beautiful park / marina on the Gulf of Mexico and great restaurants. Our room was quiet even though it was next to the elevator. No noise from nearby airport.

Stayed for a night in one of the suites and can't complain. There were plenty of towels & pillows, and although the suite was smaller than some of the other Fairfield's it suited our needs. Comfortable beds and close to the interstate. Everything was clean (I always inspect bathrooms & beds) and there was a fresh smell throughout the hotel. I wish they had an outdoor pool, the indoor was quite small and only went to 5 feet. The breakfast was good: standard eggs, sausage, bacon, muffins, bagels, ... Read more

My family stayed here while traveling. The location is not the "best". However, it is next to a Walmart if you might need anything. The overall hotel is dated, but the rooms were clean. The breakfast was the best!! MANY options and food was always hot and plentiful. The exercise room was nice and cool! Parking area around hotel seemed a bit dark at night. More lighting would be a good idea. Overall good experience!

The room was clean and neat.. Breakfast bar was great. Beds were comfortable.. The hotel was 10 min away from the beach. There are alot restaurants and fast foods place near by. There is walmart right next to the hotel if you need to pick something up. It also ten minutes away Gulf Island water park where we visited.

This is a marriot property currently under renovations just off Hwy 49 near the airport in Gulfport. Has an impossible entry and exit just beside a popular intersection to the Airport. Plenty of food choices around and plenty of "passer bys" in the area as well. Two men approached us in the parking lot to Help clean the windshield of the truck,"even tough it was raining outside......The hotel itself is in good shape and even had a de-humidifier in the room, not sure if that was good or bad.

It was late and we were all tired so we stopped for the night in Gulfport. We decided to see what hotels were available in the area and Fairfield Hotels have been very good to us as have Marriotts. This one was very nice and in a great location. Their breakfast was free and really good. We did not spend anytime on the grounds, because we were on the way to Texas. But it was very clean, the beds slept well, and the staff was very helpful. If we are going thru Gulfport again, we would stay he... Read more

We came to the Gulfport/Biloxi area house-hunting and decided to stay at the Fairfield Inn & Suites for a night. The front desk clerk was really friendly and helpful. Our room was fresh and clean, bedding was dreamy!! There were only two small issues with the room; 1) the TV channel selection was minuscule. In over a decade of traveling, we've never had such limited channels to choose from. And I'm sorry, we need entertainment in the evening!! The other issue was that 2) the WIFI was terrible. I...
