In the heart of Highway 49 of Gulfport (with the plentiful choices of hotels available) there's the America's Best Value Inn - and the name says it all - it's a value, budget, no frills hotel...they give you what you need and you'll be happy with it! I got to the hotel early (around 1230 pm) and asked to check in early. 95% of the time, your room isn't ready ... but this was different ... they allowed me to check in early, no questions asked, gave me a great room downstairs (with the views of t... We have been traveling from northern Arkansas to central Florida and back, staying at hotels along the way. America's Best Value Inn in Gulfport, MS is by far the nicest one we've stayed in during the entire trip. The rooms are much nicer and cleaner than Days Inn. The hotel staff was amazing too. We really weren't expecting much for the price, but I have to say, we were very impressed...especially considering they were cheaper than the Days Inn too. I would definitely recommend this hotel ... Disgusting, absolutely disgusting! The only good thing I can say is that the employees were nice but this place needs serious renovations & a MAJOR cleaning! We had intended to stay until we got settled into our new home but checked out after 3 days. I'd rather sleep in the car than stay here. And the free breakfast is not worth the risk! Just avoid this place.

The bed was VERY comfortable (with plenty of pillows), and the breakfast was really good (eggs, biscuits, gravy, sausage, waffles, cereal, juice, milk, coffee, etc.). The staff that I saw were very friendly and accommodating. The motel is in a good location, very close to the outlet mall, restaurants, and I-10 corridor. One issue was that the tub drains very slowly. Water will get at least ankle deep when taking a shower. There were a couple of minor issues, such as a patched hole in the bath... Read more

My wife and I stayed at this Americas Best in Gulfport in Oct. 2015 for the first time. The smoke detector started beeping at 2 a.m. That killed the night. We reported it to the desk clerk when checking out, but nothing was done about reducing the room rate because the manager was not in. I called a few days later and was told I could get a 25% discount on my next stay. My next stay this past weekend was worse. I was not given the discount because the manager was not in. The room was near... Read more

Stay in your car instead of this hotel. There were stains on the sheets and in the bathtub. There was no toilet paper holder they simply put the roll on the top of the tank. The bed only had a sheet on it no comforter or blankets. Paint was chipping, the carpet was worn and tearing away and the room had a strange smoky smell.

The furniture in the room was old. The carpet dirty. There was spray paint on one of the chairs. The tub was just gross. We showered with flip flops on. Major renovations are needed. The pics online are old of course.

I was magnificently amazed by how very much arranged and a kind lady was at the front work zone. I esteemed her marvelous customer organization. She was extraordinarily found out about the hotel and the enveloping area. She tended to every one of my requests and made me feel to a high degree welcome. I would endorse this living arrangement and come back to stay again! It was moderate, spacious, clean and had excellent staff.... These are all the thing I look for when staying at a cabin.

My Husband and I stay at ABVI Gulfport, Mississippi on 6/4/16, First time and last time! As soon as we opened the door a smell of stale, musty and mold in the air! I believe a lot of it was the carpet too. The furniture old and stained! There was a potatoes chip from previous guest between table and TV table, very visible. The dresser that the TV was sitting on was so dusty as well as the TV's bottom was dusty. All Lamp Shades dusty, and there were 4 of them, phone dusty, Mold spots, that I was ... Read more

We stopped in Gulfport on our 2000+ mile motorcycle trip late one night. Rooms weren't to pricey compared to some of the surrounding hotels. Rooms where fairly clean as far as hotel rooms go. ( you'll never find one perfect.) Swimming pool was nice & Continental breakfast wasn't bad. I would say it's worth stay here if your ever in the need for a hotel. No real complaints as far as I'm concerned.
