We are Total Rewards members. We were on a road trip and decided to visit this hotel/casino on our way home. We booked a king, non smoking room and it was absolutely beautiful. Spacious, clean, sleek and elegant. We were in Room 419. It had an L shaped couch with a chair in the sitting area with tv. There was a tv in front of the bed and also one in the bathroom. It is a nice touch to have one in the bathroom but unnecessary, in my opinion. I would rather have the counter space. In room... Read more

Great place to stay and play! Room was very clean and smelled fresh eventhough it was a smoking room. I do not smoke so I am very sensitive to the stale smoke smell. Horseshoe has evidently found the Secret to fresh smell because even the gaining floor did not smell smokey.

I made reservations thru hotels.com. When I arrived, the reservation had not come through--and I was advised that sometimes it takes an hour or two. So, I called hotels.com and was put on hold for 10-15 minutes while the hotels.com person tried pushing my reservation--she was put on hold twice and then hung up on. I took my phone in to Debbie at the front desk who gave me the Horseshoe number, which was the same number hotels.com tried. So, hotels.com cancelled my reservation so that I could... Read more

We were on a road trip and decided to detour off of I-55 to check out Tunica. The hotels/casinos are really spread out here. We chose the Horseshoe because they are part of the Ceasars conglomerate. We had a room on the 2nd floor looking out on the pool. I don't know if all the rooms are like this one, but it was very large compared to most hotel rooms and had a good size bathroom as well. The bed was very comfortable and the room was decorated pleasantly. For dinner we just chose the snack bar... Read more

Probably the most up to date casino in the Tunica area. Very hospitable employees and associates. We won money so that may skew our impression. Very clean and much less odorous than other casinos/hotels. Having stayed at least once every where in Tunica I would homely stay at the horseshoe on future visits.

In April, my husband and I traveled to Memphis and Tunica. I played poker two nights at the Horseshoe. It was a very nice poker room and the floor and dealers did a good job. The competition was mixed and there was mostly good action. I played the 1-3 NL game and broke even the first night and hit a big hand late to win $300.00 the second night. It was a lot like walking into a Las Vegas casino and poker room and there were some good eating options.

I have visited this property for a short time before but this time I spent the night. Upon arrival I was happy to be able to check in fairly early with no wait, after spending 10 hours in the car. Room was clean and smelled as if it was remodeled. I had a 2 queen room and it was small but usable for our purpose. I did not visit the pool area. I expected the hotel to be above average and that is exactly what I got. The room was excellent! I'm pretty sure the Horseshoe web page said that the pool was outdoors. When we asked where the pool was, the person said it was on the second floor, indoors. That was a bummer but that was about the only thing that wasn't up to par for us. We normally stay at Gold Strike, but used comps for "free room". The room was very far from an elevator and the floor layout confusing, a lot of hallways to go down. The beds were very good, the bath not so much. Small vanity and bathroom. Also found out they now charge a "Resort Fee" for the "free" room. I think we are done with all of the Harrah's properties. Next they will be charging to use their parking garage! We have nicer Casino's closer to us. Probably goodbye Tunica!

All of the personnel in the hotel and casino were friendly, and helpful when needed. The breakfast in the casino is great and probably more than one should eat. My wife and I normally stay at a different hotel while in Tunica, but we found a new home at the Horseshoe. Wonderful staff, good food, great room. The bedding was very comfortable, a tub so large you could swim laps in it and we could actually "walk" around the room without bumping into furniture. Room darkening drapes also helped. Very good security at this hotel as well. They also have covered parking in a several story garage (keeps the car out of the hot sun).

Nice hotel stayed on 2nd floor recently remodelled but dark and looked mych better before just looks like reg hotel now. Slots very tight players card points take way to long to get free buffets and have to start over daily. Great food and excellent service there though! Goldstrike next door has better promotional mailings!

I had a great time on my most recent visit to the Horseshoe. The dealers and pit bosses are friendly and helpful and they have a good selection of table games to play. I will be back next time I'm in the area.

First time staying at Horseshoe Tunica and what a great time we had. Can't say enough about the warmth and hospitality from the employees there. In fact, Karen Knight, Casino Floor Supervisor, went above and beyond to make sure my Mom and I had an awesome time! She immediately introduced herself with warmth and a welcoming smile (nothing fake) and initiated a nice conversation. She asked me where we would like to have dinner, and also told us all about the best places to visit during our stay.... Read more

We had a great time at the Horseshoe Tunica Hotel. We took a junket flight from Wilmington, North Carolina. The Tunica airport is quite a ways from the hotel.... shuttle service was available. We also were able to rent a car at the airport. The hotel was clean and rooms were adequate. I would stay here again. Close proximity to Memphis. Casino is quite large with slots and table games.

Based on the staff of the hotel and in the casino, as well as the nice room that we had, there is no other place in Tunica that I will stay. The staff even retrieved an item from our car in valet and brought it to the room. Very generous food portions on room service and the service was quick!

These folks were professional, nice, friendly, and the additives go on anon. I husband and I were thoroughly impressed with the hotel and every staff from top to bottom. We have been to several casino hotels including many in Las Vegas; this was our best experience ever. We cannot say enough about how kind and wonderful these people were.

A review of the unacceptable experience I had during my stay from September 21- 23, 2016 at your Horseshoe property in Tunica, Mississippi. My companion and I checked in on 9/21/16. We were assigned room 3129. When we went into the room, we observed it was infested with ants, we called the front desk to inform them. They moved us to room 2143. Room 2143 had ants as well, but not as many. We were enjoying our stay despite having to originally change rooms. As we were preparing to check out, I... Read more

Very nice room....fun casino....and reasonable rates. This is the second time we have chosen to stay here and have been happy each time. Our room was almost identical to one at the Beau Rivage in Biloxi that we have stayed in. The Chinese restaurant within the casino was excellent and offered reasonable priced dishes...huge servings...and good service. The next time thru....it will be the Horseshoe!!

Stayed at the Horseshoe for one night and enjoyed the spacious room. The beds were very comfortable and the entire room was well appointed and comfortable. In room coffee make, fridge, and microwave were built into cabinets. I think I was most impressed with the cleanliness of the entire facility, including the casino. The staff was very friendly and professional. The food service was good, but a little pricey for what it was. All in all a great place to stay.

Check in was quick and smooth. When opening the door to my room I noticed there was something missing from the walls since I see screws that showed that something was placed there before it was taken down, but that wasn't too important. When using the bathroom the main lights worked but the one right above the toilet was missing, so it was kind of dark. The bed was comfortable, the room was big and clean, and the service was excellent. So besides the light in the bathroom the stay was perfect. I... Read more

When I went to check-in, I was told to come back for a room closer to the elevator since my wife has hip replacement and I have a bad heart. That was fine, but when I went back they only had two rooms both as far away as you could go. It was a quarter mile to the room by the wife's phone pedometer! Also when we checked-in they never offered to mention there was room service or how to get it.
