The Hampton is very very clean and the rooms are up to date. The staff are always cleaning and are very helpful. Ms. Jill the Manager, was helpful and accommodating to our needs. Breakfast was very good and the dinning area very clean. This hotel smells fresh and clean the entire time we have been here. There is also a washer and dryer to wash clothes that is nice as well. We will stay here again and the clean pool is a PLUS. Great stay with great people!!!!!! Honest and loyal employees and I am... Read more

We had a nice and pleasant stay in Brookhaven! The rooms were quiet, the staff was friendly, and the guests were friendly, too. We have stayed here in the past and I am sure we will stay again in the future.

This is my second and last time staying at this Hampton Inn. The bathroom is dark and in need of remodeling. Shower is bad. Only 2 towels for a 2 bed room. And the coffee was weak and cold in the morning. We had to ask the attendant to make fresh coffee and put some coffee in it. It's just not up to Hampton Inn standards. On a positive note, the bed was fine and we slept well.

This is a great hotel. Staff are friendly and welcoming, rooms are clean and comfortable, breakfast is fresh and varies daily. I always stay here when in Brookhaven. Hampton Inns are always my hotels of choice and will bypass others or drive extra miles to stay in one.

In need of remodeling asap. Very old outdated furniture. Had an issue with the bathroom sink backing up and flooding the bathroom floor. 1st I called for maintenance. 20 mins later or more I walked down, the girl at the desk acted like she had actually called someone. Later when all the water started backing up I asked to b moved. She had no empathy whatsoever. She just said ok. My night was comp after speaking to the manager, but even she was not the professional. Do not b fooled. Only the lobb... Read more

This was an overnight stay while visiting family. Staff was very courteous upon arrival and departure. The room was clean and comfortable. We like Hampton Inn because they put clean sheets and comforters on the beds for each guest.

This is the message I left for Hampton Inn. "Oh, you don't want to get me started on this. Our floor was so dirty that my son's feet, knees, and hands were black from crawling on the floor. Then, we looked at our feet, and they were black as well. It was utterly disgusting. We took a dry wash cloth and rubbed the carpet once, it was black. I immediately we to the front desk with my baby and the was cloth. The little girl at the desk brought me to 2 other rooms to check. We went with the lesser o... Read more

Traveling down to New Orleans, my husband and I stopped at the Brookhaven Hampton Inn. We were met by a very friendly and helpful front desk clerk. The room was clean and nice. The complimentary breakfast was also very good. Enjoyed our stay and would recommend to any traveler.

first off I usually stay at Hamptons every week year round! This is not the calibur of a Hampton Inn and should be taken off the name list? The hotel is in need of many repairs? The shower didn't work? the outlets in the bathroom and the bedroom didn't work? the hair dryer didn't work at all???? The bed was old and lumpy-very uncomfortable. When I asked about the services at the front desk they told me that this is the way the hotel is????? Terrible hotel and worse service? Stay away from this h... Read more

I came to back home to Mississippi for my grandmother's 90th birthday celebration. I had tried out the Hampton last summer for the first time while home visiting in July. That was a really nice visit, and this one was as well. Very clean and comfortable. Front desk staff were just as nice as last year, true Southern hospitality at its best. Mostly quiet. The only thing I saw that needed improvement this visit was that the pool had some algae growing on the inside walls. Probably they just did... Read more

Air conditioner didn't work. They bought in a fan, but it was so loud, didn't sleep. Moved to another room and there was mold on the ceiling. The maid was very nice and friendly and helpful as well as the complimentary breakfast person.

This hotel is very clean. The hotel staff were very friendly. The beds sleep comfortable. The only thing I didn't like was the complimentary breakfast. I felt that for the rate we paid, it could have been better.

My company purchased the room, 3+weeks prior rto travel. I was put in a smoking room. They wouldn't change my room to non smoking. They said that my company booked it that way. My company never books smoking rooms. Then they blamed it on the computer booking sites. I left hotel and went to comfort inn

I think average is probably generous for this hotel, although a "poor" rating would be a little harsh. This hotel sits right off the Interstate so I asked for a room on the other side. Even though it was early, and I am a Diamond member they could not move me. As it turns out it really did not matter since the air conditioner was so noisy it drowned out the interstate noise. They also did not have any toothpaste as part of the advertised "Forget Something" program. The fitness room was fine ... Read more

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The rooms very VERY spacious, clean and comfortable. The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating. We did not have a chance to get in the pool. However, the pool area was very clean and we look forward to spending time by the pool on our next trip. The hallways, lobby and dinning area were spotless and stylish. Very modern for a small town. I would have given a 5 rating if the breakfast was better.

Very outdated and dirty. When we got into our room to go to bed our bed was covered with ants. We had to change rooms, and it wasn't much better, but it was ant-free. Several things were broken and not functional. We would not stay here again.

My family and I were hiking in Mississippi, and picked this hotel last minute for a one night stay. When I got to the hotel to check-in the front desk agent stated they had received my reservation, but the previous shift had not assigned me a room, and now they only had smoking rooms left. Eventually she stated she had a nonsmoking room for me, but that another guest had checked into it earlier, and then checked out again because the pool was closed. She let me know that it had not been clean... Read more

This hotel was handy to the freeway; next to Cracker Barrel and had great beds. Hotel breakfast was great too! No problems. I didn't use the pool or any nearby areas of interest. Plenty of coffee and cookies in the afternoon!

Great location for the traveler, right off the interstate. close to a Cracker Barrel. You will enjoy the "home town" atmosphere of Brookhaven Miss. Although this trip was most solo, my family has stayed here before with same very satisfying results

Drunk guest banging on door for 15 minutes. I called down to front desk and very young employee said there wasn't a security guard or male worker. She offered to called police. Police found guest at other end of hall extremely intoxicated. Bed was so hard I had to go to Walmart to purchase foam pad. Bathroom ceiling was in very bad shape with extensive water damage. No plug ins between beds so I had to pull beds out to access outlets. VERY scary sight! Disgusting. Room 305

I made a last minute reservation while on a business trip. There were no issues with the reservation or the room, check in was easy. The lady behind the desk was very helpful with dining suggestions - not much in town. I liked the room accommodations although there was not a handy plug on the bedside table. The tv and wifi worked well. The room seemed very clean to me. There were plenty of towels in the bathroom even for a king room. The bed was comfortable, the pillows not so much. Hampton has... The hotel has improved it's look, but it still needs a little boost. The staff was nice, but the breakfast wasn't worth trying. The heater was loud; waking me up during the night. I used points and cash for the two nights, so the price was fair. I would have not been happy if I had paid the full price for the room.
